PENGARUH BEKAM SECARA TIME SERIES TERHADAP TPENURUNAN TEKANAN DARAH PASIEN HIPERTENSI

ABSTRAKHipertensi adalah suatu penyakit kronis dimana tekanan darah, baik sistolik maupun diastolik, meningkat di atas tekanan darah normal. Berdasarkan hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) tahun 2007 hipertensi merupakan penyebab kematian ketiga dengan prevalensi sebesar 25,8 % pada tahun 2013. Pengobatan hipertensi dapat dilakukan melalui pengobatan alternatif, yaitu bekam. Bekam merupakan metode pengobatan yang dianjurkan Nabi Muhammad SAW dengan cara mengeluarkan toksin atau unsur-unsur yang tidak dibutuhkan lagi oleh tubuh. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui efek jangka panjang bekam terhadap hipertensi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah time series dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest. Penelitian dilakukan di Klinik Al-Wafa Banda Aceh dengan sampel berjumlah 30 responden yang didapatkan menggunakan metode quota sampling selama bulan Juni - Juli 2014. Data hasil penelitian diuji secara bertahap selama tiga waktu didapatkan perbedaan yang signifikan pada penurunan tekanan darah sebelum dan setelah dilakukan bekam secara time series (p value sistole Greenhouse-Geisser = 0,000 dan p value diastole Greenhouse-Geisser = 0,000 , ? = 5 %,

Polarization memory in single Quantum Dots

We measured the polarization memory of excitonic and biexcitonic optical transitions from single quantum dots at either positive, negative or neutral charge states. Positive, negative and no circular or linear polarization memory was observed for various spectral lines, under the same quasi-resonant excitation below the wetting layer band-gap. We developed a model which explains both qualitatively and quantitatively the experimentally measured polarization spectrum for all these optical transitions. We consider quite generally the loss of spin orientation of the photogenerated electron-hole pair during their relaxation towards the many-carrier ground states. Our analysis unambiguously demonstrates that while electrons maintain their initial spin polarization to a large degree, holes completely dephase.Comment: 6 pages, 4 figure

Harga Pembelian Pemerintah (Hpp) Gabah-Beras Tahun 2010: Efektivitas Dan Implikasinya Terhadap Kualitas Dan Pengadaan Oleh Dolog

Terkait dengan stabilisasi harga dan peningkatan kualitas gabah-beras, pemerintah menetapkan harga pembelian pemerintah (HPP) dan penggunaan tabel rafaksi sebagai acuan dalam transaksi gabah-beras. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas HPP, dan bagaimana faktor produksi dan kualitas gabah-beras mempengaruhi efektivitas kebijakan HPP. Kebijakan HPP GKP efektif dalam menjaga stabilitas harga GKP ditingkat petani. Tingkat harga pada transaksi jual beli gabah beras dipengaruhi kuantitas dan kualitas gabah beras. Kuantitas berhubungan dengan produksi antar musim. Namun, dalam menentukan harga transaksi, tidak ada pedoman baku yang digunakan untuk menentukan kualitas. Tabel Rafaksi tidak digunakan oleh petani dan pedagang. Petani dan pedagang telah mempunyai persepsi masing-masing tentang penentuan kualitas gabah-beras. Oleh sebab itu, sosialisasi tabel rafaksi pada petani sangat perlu digiatkan

Black-Hole Mass and Growth Rate at High Redshift

We present new H and K bands spectroscopy of 15 high luminosity active galactic nuclei (AGNs) at redshifts 2.3-3.4 obtained on Gemini South. We combined the data with spectra of additional 29 high-luminosity sources to obtain a sample with 10^{45.2}<\lambda L_{\lambda}(5100A)<10^{47.3} ergs/sec and black hole (BH) mass range, using reverberation mapping relationships based on the H_beta method, of 10^{8.8}-10^{10.7} M_sun. We do not find a correlation of L/L_Edd with M_BH but find a correlation with \lambda L_{\lambda}(5100A) which might be due to selection effects. The L/L_Edd distribution is broad and covers the range ~0.07-1.6, similar to what is observed in lower redshift, lower luminosity AGNs. We suggest that this consistently measured and calibrated sample gives the best representation of L/L_Edd at those redshifts and note potential discrepancies with recent theoretical and observational studies. The lower accretion rates are not in accord with growth scenarios for BHs at such redshifts and the growth times of many of the sources are longer than the age of the universe at the corresponding epochs. This suggests earlier episodes of faster growth at z>~3 for those sources. The use of the C IV method gives considerably different results and a larger scatter; this method seems to be a poor M_BH and L/L_Edd estimator at very high luminosity.Comment: 8 pages (emulateapj), 4 figures.
