CUTTING PARAMETERS DEFINITION FOR KINEMATIC OPTIMISATION OF SPIRAL BEVEL GEARS
The contact analysis of uniform tooth height epicyclical spiral bevel gears
stemming from Klingelnberg´s Cyclo-Palloid System has an important role in
preliminary design. The simultaneous generation of gear surfaces and contact
simulation is the basis of the analysis. A numerical program for theoretical
contact identification has been developed. Longitudinal settings of the contact
patterns or contact across the surfaces from tooth root to tooth top were
obtained as a function of machine settings. The influence of each cutting
parameter was isolated and is discussed for kinematic optimization
Face dog clutch engagement at low mismatch speed
Face dog clutches regain popularity in heavy duty AMT´s. Though the reduction of the speed difference between the dogs is the key to a smooth gear shift, the excellent engaging capability is experienced to degrade at low mismatch speed and the outcome of the engagement process becomes uncertain. Using a simple mechanical model, that uncertainty is described and the probability of the successful engagement is given as a function of the initial mismatch speed. Results are validated through statistical evaluation of measurement data
MODELLING OF GEAR CHANGING BEHAVIOUR
This paper deals with the modelling of the gear changing behaviour. After
presentation of the main synchronizer tasks, the state of the art is
described. Reconsideration of the gear changing process allows better
definition of synchronizer working phases. Based on this, a numerical
simulation software of the synchronizer behaviour has been realized.
Phenomena of angular velocity synchonization and second bump in gear
changing force are modelled in details. Various mechanical behaviour
influencing phenomena are taken into consideration with large number of
input parameters. The software is validated with literature data. Then, it
is used to investigate the effect of main parameters considered with gear
changing process for a 5 speed manual car gearbox. Effects of gear changing
force, synchronized inertia and initial angular velocity difference
variations are shown. Visualization of parameter effects such as angle error
of synchronizer cone and relative position of gear splines and sleeve
splines help for better understanding of gearbox behaviour during gear
changing
Bacterial diversity in soils of different Hungarian karst areas
Karst areas have great environmental importance as sources of subsurface water and often maintain very sensitive ecosystems. In recent years, increasing number of microbiological studies focused on the bacterial communities of karst soils. In this study, diversity examinations on two distinct Hungarian karst areas, Aggtelek and Tapolca, were performed using parallel cultivation and molecular cloning methods. The phylogenetic affiliation of bacterial strains and molecular clones was determined based on their 16S rRNA gene sequences. Bacterial isolates were identified as members of the phyla Actinobacteria, Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, and Bacteroidetes. Besides the taxa identified by cultivation, members of the phyla Chloroflexi, Cyanobacteria, Acidobacteria, Verrucomicrobia, and Gemmatimonadetes were detected by the cloning. The difference in the composition of soil bacterial communities was related to geographic locations and soil types. Both the highest and the lowest bacterial diversities were detected in samples from Aggtelek National Park, characterized by Leptic Luvisol and Rendzic Leptosol soil types. The difference in the composition of bacterial communities between Rendzic Leptosol and Leptic Phaeozem soil types at Tapolca could be the result of human impacts

Környezettudományi terepgyakorlat
A környezettudomány terepi módszereit bemutató jegyzet célja, hogy átfogó képet
adjon a leendő környezettan tanár szakos hallgatóknak a terepen viszonylag egyszerűen
elvégezhetőmérési módszerekről. A mű több éves kipróbálás és tapasztalat birtokában
egy konkrét mintaterületen elvégzett számos környezeti vizsgálat módszerét
mutatja be, ám ezek a módszerek könnyen alkalmazhatók más területek felmérésére,
vizsgálatára is. Az igen komplex, mintegy 10 tudományterületet felsorakoztató terepi
program során a hallgatók szinte minden környezeti diszciplina terepi módszereivel
tanárképzésben akár korcsoportonként is
COMPUTER SIMULATION STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF TOOTH ERRORS ON GEAR DYNAMIC BEHAVIOUR
The origin of the excitation effects of gear train is briefly discussed and an adequate tooth
spring system model is presented, which enables to take into consideration the important
exiting effects, due from the mesh. The model is especially adapted for computer simula-
tion studies. Making use of this tooth mesh substituting model, the basic tooth vibration
features are discussed, based on simulation results. Influence of the mesh irregularities,
being always present, even in the case of ideal toothing, is presented. Further on, the
effect of the manufacturing errors on gear dynamic behaviour is analyzed by the Furier
development of the tooth stiffness functions on one hand, and the vibration characteristics
are studied under quasi stationary rolling down conditions, based on computer simulation
results, on the other hand
Influences des déplacements axiaux sur les caractéristiques du contact des engrenages spiro-coniques Klingelnberg
A method was developed for numerical simulation of generation and meshing of Klingelnberg bevel gears. Tooth surfaces were modified from theoretical shapes along both the width and height of teeth. Effects of axis misalignments due to assembly are also considered in order to defined tooth contact evolutions
