    Morphological Analysis of Derivational Prefixes in Fable Story of “Raja Lebah dan Sesendok Madu”

    Abstract As we know that language is very important to our life to interaction in our daily life. The purpose of this study to describe the derivation prefixes which happen in the fabled story and will focus an analysis of the derivational prefixes in the fabled story “Raja Lebah dan Sesendok Madu”. This data research is a qualitative description, data collection using the literature study. Data analysis uses word-class classification in the speech section. The results of this study show that Derivational prefixes consist of se-, me-, meN-, ber-, di-. Although they are included in the derivation prefix they also have different in word classes. For example the word “sendok” as a noun and the word “sesendok” as an adverb. Based on the result from the analysis derivational prefixes above we find that there are several words that have different word classes when we add the prefix phonemes in front of a word. For example, the words "sendok" and "sesendok" have different word classes.Keywords: Morphology, Morphemes, derivational prefixes.  AbstrakSeperti yang kita ketahui bahwa bahasa sangat penting bagi kehidupan kita untuk berinteraksi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan prefiks derivasi yang terjadi pada cerita fabel dan akan memfokuskan analisis prefiks derivasi dalam dongeng “Raja Lebah dan Sesendok Madu”. Data penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan studi pustaka. Analisis data menggunakan klasifikasi kelas kata pada bagian pidato. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prefiks Derivasional terdiri dari se-, me, meN-, ber-, di-. Meskipun mereka termasuk dalam awalan derivasi, mereka juga memiliki kelas kata yang berbeda. Misalnya kata “sendok” sebagai kata benda dan kata “sesendok” sebagai kata keterangan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis prefiks turunan di atas didapatkan bahwa terdapat beberapa kata yang memiliki kelas kata yang berbeda bila kita menambahkan prefiks fonem di depan sebuah kata. Misalnya kata "sendok" dan "sesendok" memiliki kelas kata yang berbeda.Kata kunci: Morfologi, Morfem, prefiks turunan

    Penyusunan Kriteria Rumah Tinggal Berkonsep Ergo-Ekologi dalam Upaya Peningkatan Kenyamanan Termal Penghuni

    Nowadays, developers of residential houses often neglect to pay attention about the air circulation as one of the factors that affects thermal comfort zones inside the room environment. In general, people overcome the thermal discomfort using mechanical ventilation such as a fan or Air Conditioning (AC).This study measured the comfort zone of 32 row houses in the Batam city with two types of floor area (LT ≤ 36 m2 and LT > 36 m2). Other variables include Ceiling Height (Tpi), Aperture Area (Vi), Wall Materials (Bhi) and Orientation (Ori) were also considered in this measurement. The results show that thermal comfort zone was influenced by the wall material (Bh1) made from brick, aperture area (V2) > 20% of the floor area, and ceiling height (Tp2) > 3 m. While the house orientation variable can still be received by utilizing the architecture techniques to reduce direct solar radiation. This study also formulated three models of row house design with ergo-ecological concept,  which are  Ree = f {Lti, Bh, V, Tp2, Ori} atau Ree = f {Lt2, Bh, V, Tp1, Or2} atau Ree = f {Lt1, Bh, V, Tp1, Or1}.

    Evaluasi Kenyamanan Termal Ruang Sekolah SMA Negeri di Kota Padang

    This research aims to determine thermal conditions and sensation of thermal comfort in classrooms of high schools in Padang. This study was conducted in 11 State Senior High School (SMA) represented 11 districts in Padang. About 10% of total student body in each schools were participated in this study to vote thermal comfort questioners. To determine thermal comfort level in this study, PMV (Predicted mean Vote) and PPD (Predicted Percentage of dissatisfied) method were used according to standard of thermal comfort in ASHRAE 55-2005 and ISO 7730. PMV method is used to determine scope of situation in the environment that scaled from +3 for very hot until -3 for very cold, and PPD is a method to calculate the number of human (in percentage) dissatisfied with the environment. Calculated PMV and PPD were compared with PMV and PPD resulted from individual vote from questionnaires. Result showed that in general, thermal conditions in classrooms had air temperature and radiant temperature from 27oC – 30oC, air humidity from 68% - 80%, and wind speed of 0 m/s. Calculated PMV from this condition were ranging from +1 slightly warm) until +2 (warm) while PPD calculated greater than 20%. Compared with calculated PMV and PPD values, the individual vote showed values from +0,5 (neutral) until +1 (slightly warm) while PPD values of individual vote greater than 20% except for SMA 2 and SMA 11 Padang. It is concluded that improvements of indoor thermal conditions have to make inside classrooms as well as landscape outside in order to improve thermal comfort level of students during learning and teaching.Keywords: Thermal Comfort, PMV (Predicted Mean Vote), PPD (Predicted Percentage ofDissatisfied), climatic factors, SM

    Analisa kualitas Crude Palm Oil (CPO) pada vacuum dryer di PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Seunagan

    Produk yang dihasilkan di pabrik kelapa sawit (PKS) PT. Socfin Indonesia Kebun Seunagan adalah minyak kelapa sawit kasar atau Crude Palm Oil (CPO) dan inti kelapa sawit (kernel). Proses pengolahan kelapa sawit melalui beberapa stasiun antara lain stasiun penerimaan buah, stasiun perebusan, stasiun penebah, stasiun pengempaan, stasiun pemurnian dan stasiun pengolahan biji. Dalam industri pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit faktor utama yang dapat menimbulkan kerusakan mutu minyak sawit yaitu kandungan air dan kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas CPO pada Vacuum dryer  di PKS PT. Socfin indonesia kebun Seunagan yang dilihat dari kadar ALB dan kadar air. Analisa kadar asam lemak bebas dilakukan dengan metode titrasi asam basa dengan menggunakan larutan standar NaOH 0.25 N, sedangkan analisa kadar air menggunakan metode gravimetri. Hasil perhitungan diperoleh rata-rata kadar asam lemak bebas (ALB) pada bagian atas yaitu 2,12%, lalu pada bagian tengah yaitu 2,21% dan pada bagian bawah yaitu 2,25%. Pada kadar air bagian atas dengan rata-rata yaitu 0,15%, lalu pada bagian tengah yaitu 0,19% dan pada bagian bawah yaitu 0,17% Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa dari analisa kadar asam lemak bebas, dan kadar air  telah memenuhi syarat pabrik PT.     Optimum conditions help us think and work better. Thermal comfort in lecture buildings is important to maintain students’s comfort and help them concentrate on study. The fastest way to achieve expected thermal comfort inside the lecture room is using air conditioner, however, compensation on high electricity bills and degradation of the environmental quality has to be made. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to find and promote several environmental friendly strategies which can provide comfort to users in one hand, but also can reduce energy consumption in another hand. There have been several strategies in records to increase thermal comfort in buildings. To select the best and the most appropriate alternative, Analytical Hierarchy Process method was used by setting the criteria, sub-criteria, and alternatives to increase thermal comfort in lecture buildings of Andalas University. To test the selected alternative, thermal comfort inside two lecture rooms were evaluated experimentally. The comfort level was evaluated using PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD (Predicted Percentage Dissatisfied) model. For all experimental conditions, PMV and PPD results and individual thermal vote results showed a good match statistically meaning that the PMV and PPD models could predict thermal condition inside the lecture rooms. Results also showed that the presence of natural vegetation infront of glass windows of the lecture rooms statistically improved thermal comfort sensations of students under natural ventilation mode and reduced thermostat setting under air conditioning mode

    The bike is still one of the favorite modes of transportation as it is cheaper and environmentally friendly. However, some problems still arise in current bicycle design, one of which is a discrepancy between dimensions of the bike with anthropometry of the user. This has resulted in unneutral and uncomfortable posture for the users. This study focuses on providing optimum configuration of distance from saddle to pedal, the height of handle-bar, and distance from handlebar to saddle of the bike. Some physiological parameters such as the percentage of CVL (cardiovascular limit), energy consumption and Posture Evaluation index are measured to determine the optimum distance of handle-bar, distance from handlebar to saddle, and distance from saddle to pedal. Results show that it is necessary to modify the current dimension of the bike to accommodate three posture categories of Indonesia population: small posture (P5), medium (P50) and large posture (P95).

    Kepuasan Mahasiswa terhadap Layanan Bimbingan Akademik oleh Dosen Pembimbing Akademik di Jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan FIP UNP

    Penelitian ini penulis lakukan untuk mengetahui kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap layanan bimbingan akademik oleh Dosen Pembimbing Akademik dari aspek keandalan (reliability),daya tanggap (responsiveness), jaminan kepastian (assurance),empati (empathy),ujudfisik (tangible)di Jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan FIP UNP. Penelitian ini memakai pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasinya ialah mahasiswa angkatan 2015, 2016, 2017 di Jurusan Administrasi FIP UNP yang berjumlah 160 orang dengan sampel 64 dengan simple Random Sampling. Instrument penelitian angket model Rating Scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 1) keandalan (reliability) dalam pelayanan berada pada kategori puas dengan skor rata- rata 3,83,2) daya tanggap (responsiveness) dalam pelayanan berada pada kategori puas dengan skor rata-rata 3,77, 3) Tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa mengenai jaminan kepastian (assurance) dalam pelayanan berada pada kategori puas dengan skor rata-rata3,90, 4) Tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa mengenai empati (empathy) dalam pelayanan berada pada kategori puas dengan skor rata-rata 3,74, 5) Tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa mengenai ujud fisik (tangible) dalam pelayanan berada pada kategori puas dengan skor rata-rata 3,77. Dengan demikian kesimpulan yang dapat kita ambil ialah tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap layanan bimbingan akademik oleh Dosen Pembimbing Akademik di Jurusan Administrasi Pendidikan FIP UNP berada pada kategori puas dengan skor 3,80

Google Classroom (GC) is a web-based media platform that has many features to simplify the teaching and learning process. The convenience offered by Google Classroom (GC) is helpful for both students and teachers in managing classes. The flexible time in teaching by using GC gives a lot of help in learning process, especially during the current pandemic. The purpose of this study is to find out the application of semantic mapping in teaching reading comprehension through Google Classroom and how students perceive the learning process using Google Classroom in increasing semantic mapping skills in reading. The background of this research is the difficulties encountered by students in understanding reading texts. This research approach is qualitative. This research design was Classroom Action Research (CAR). The participants of this research were 1st-semester students, PDD Pontianak State Polytechnic Study Program of Aquaculture Technology (TBP) which were distributed in Class A (13 students) and B (17 students). All treatments for both classes were the same. The data collection was done through questionnaires, interviews, tests, and documentation. The findings show that semantic mapping can be used in teaching reading through Google Classroom (GC). In Cycle 1, the teaching material about the use of semantic mapping in reading was posted in GC, students learned the material, questions and answers were done by using chat facilities in GC. In Cycle 2, the teaching was done using flipped learning model, where students received the material first to be studied. Next, students discussed the material given with the lecturer by synchronous classes (Google Meet) and additional question and answer were done through GC chat. The score showed that in the pretest, almost 50% of students got a D score, and then experienced an increase in both the posttest Cycle 1 and posttest Cycle 2. In terms of student's perceptions, the learning process using Google Classroom in teaching semantic mapping in reading showed that students felt comfortable and liked the teaching of semantic mapping in reading through GC. The results showed that, in the end, 70% of Study Program of Aquaculture Technology (TBP) A class students and 96% of Study Program of Aquaculture Technology (TBP) B class students were able to use semantic mapping in the learning process of reading through Google Classroom. Although this research is relatively short, the findings explain that semantic mapping strategies can be applied using the combination between GC asynchronous meeting and Flipped learning. Future researchers are suggested to research with a longer time. Thus, the number of meetings held both asynchronously (Google Classroom) and synchronously (Google Meet) will be maximized and get better results.
