    Validating the mediating effect of negotiation style between problem-solving strategies and communication style on marital satisfaction among Nigerian

    This study validating the mediating effect of negotiation style between problem solving strategies and Communication style on Marital Satisfaction among Nigerian. To achieve the purpose a cross-sectional survey design was adopted with a sample of 385 married couples in Kwara state Nigeria. The instruments used tagged 'Problem-Solving Strategies, Communication and Negotiation styles on Marital Satisfaction Scales' contained 80 items spread among the 16 sub-constructs, 4 Likert's type was adopted throughout the scale. The data collected were entered into Microsoft Excel 2016 and SPSS 20 for data cleaning and were filtered to the SmartPLS 3. The data was check for normality using two indicators of Skewness and Kurtosis. The data analysis was conducted using Partial least square structural equation modeling approaches with SmartPLS 3 software. The measurement construct was evaluated by items loading, composite reliability (CR) and average variance extracted (AVE). The results revealed that the measurement construct assessed in this study showed acceptability with validity and reliability test results presented in the preceding sections. The indicator reliability, convergent validity examined through the factor loadings. Thus with the effect of all the measurement requirements, it can be concluded that the mediating effect of negotiation style between Problem-Solving Strategies and Communication style on Marital Satisfaction can be used to the resolved marital problem among the couples as an alternative option for marital counselor ministry of social welfare and the religious leaders

    Winner Perkasa Indonesia Unggul is a SME that sells product based on seaweed processing. The enterprise is trying to improve their business activity on seaweed processing products. The purposes of this research are to identify the existing business model at the enterprise, to evaluate the model, and to generate a new business model prototype with the Business Model Canvas method analysis. This research is a case study on a company, and conducted in March-May 2016. The data used are primary data in the form of interviews and internal company data, while qualitative analysis used to evaluate the business model, and the SWOT analysis method used to help generating new business model prototype. The results of this research were two alternative of business model prototype for the enterprise's development in the future. The first alternative is trying to classify new customer segment, and followed by creating the new value proposition. With the additional of new customer segment and the new value proposition, it caused the enterprise to extend the channels by optimalizing technologies, and eventually increase the revenue stream of the enterprise. The second alternative is trying to increase the customer relationship by creating the new value proposition. It will raise the opportunity to make an alliance or partnership for helping the business activity of the enterprise. However, the changes on some parts of the business model will affect the enterprise's cost structure

    SEDIMENT TRANSPORT ANALYSIS FOR SECURING WATER (CASE STUDY: UPPER JENEBERANG RIVER)

    The Jeneberang River Basin, upstream of Bili-Bili Dam Reservoir is divided into five (5) major sub-basins, named upper and middle main Jeneberang (Bili-Bili Dam Basin : 384.40 km2) , Salo Malino (85.89 km2), Salo Kausisi (37.50 km2), Jene Rakikang (42.2 km2) and Binanga Jajang (22.7 km2). Salo Malino is divided into more two (2) tributaries, named Salo Bulang (23.8km2) and Salo Ahuwa (37.1 km2). Bili-Bili dam is a multipurpose dam for irrigation, electricity, flood mitigation, and raw water. Bili-Bili Irrigation system covering 23,660 Ha of paddy field (Bissua system and Kampili system) of 270 bil.m3, Capacity for flood control 41 bil.m3, capacity for water supply 35 bil.m3, and the total storagevcapacity is 375 bill. M3, ofwhich the effective storage capacity is 346 bi.m3.Bili-Bili dam has been operated since 1999 year, serious sediment issues have been occurred in the Jeneberang river basin. Especially, after gigantic caldera collapse at March,2004, the sediment inflow volume in the reservoir have been reaches totally 49 million m3 as of May 2007. The objective of this study is to analyse the sediment transport at Upper Jeneberang river using HEC-RAS.. Which can be used to perform mobile bed computation. This study covering 32814.80 m length, consist of 80 reach (cross section). Large amount of sediment flowing to the dam could be reduce the capacity of the dam. Consequently the amount of water will reduced.The result is a continuous simulation of the change in cross section as sedimentation processes adjust to the hydraulic condition imposed by the water-sediment hydrograph and the base level control boundary conditions. Based on the analysis which show the erosion area and the sediment accumulated area, the decision maker can make the right choice to construct specific river structures at certain places to prevent sediment flowing to the dam for securing water.Keywords: Sedimentation, Sediment Transport, Securing Wate

    Semakin meningkatnya jumlah perguruan tinggi di Indonesia telah membuat peta persaingan antar perguruan tinggi semakin ketat. Perguruan Tinggi yang ingin memenangkan persaingan dituntut untuk melakukan continuous quality improvement (CQI). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi persepsi dosen ISBI Bandung mengenai standar mutu proses pembelajaran dan mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dosen ISBI Bandung mengenai standar mutu proses pembelajaran terhadap pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara melalui kuesioner. Pertanyaan-pertanyaan dalam kuesioner dibuat dalam bentuk pernyataan yang diukur berdasarkan skala Likert. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dosen mengenai standar mutu proses pembelajaran memengaruhi pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dengan kontribusi sebesar 29,6%

    One step towards realistic Kaluza-Klein[like] theories and a loop hole through the Witten's "no-go theorem" is presented for cases which we call an effective two dimensionality cases: In d=2d=2 the equations of motion following from the action with the linear curvature leave spin connections and zweibeins undetermined. We present the case of a spinor in d=(1+5)d=(1+5) compactified on a formally infinite disc with the zweibein which makes a disc curved on an almost S2S^2 and with the spin connection field which allows on such a sphere only one massless normalizable spinor state of a particular charge, which couples the spinor chirally to the corresponding Kaluza-Klein gauge field. We assume no external gauge fields. The masslessness of a spinor is achieved by the choice of a spin connection field (which breaks parity), the zweibein and the normalizability condition for spinor states, which guarantee a discrete spectrum forming the complete basis.     [Potential Mixtures Between SeNPV with Botanical Insecticides to Increase Larvae Mortality of Spodoptera exigua (Hubner) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) in Laboratory]Hama Spodoptera exigua (Hübner) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) merupakan hama penting pada tanaman bawang di Indonesia. Pengendalian hama ini dengan insektisida kimia sintetik tidak memuaskan, bahkan telah menyebabkan hama menjadi resisten. SeNPV bila diaplikasikan secara tunggal untuk pengendalian hama S. exigua hasilnya masih kurang memuaskan. Namun, diharapkan SeNPV bila dicampurkan dengan insektisida botani dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik untuk mengendalikan hama S. exigua. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui potensi campuran SeNPV dengan insektisida botani terhadap mortalitas larva S. exigua instar 3 di laboratorium. Percobaan dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Entomologi Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran, Lembang ( ± 1.250 m dpl.), mulai bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2014. Larva S. exigua dikumpulkan dari pertanaman petani bawang merah di daerah Cirebon, Jawa Barat dan diperbanyak di Rumah Kasa Balai Penelitian Tanaman Sayuran. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam dua tahap kegiatan, yaitu (1) uji pendahuluan dosis SeNPV dan empat jenis ekstrak tumbuhan, yaitu legundi (Vitex trifolia Linn.), serai wangi (Cymbopogon nardus), daun jeruk purut (Citrus hystrix DC), ubi gadung (Dioscorea hispida) dan (2) uji campuran beberapa dosis SeNPV dengan dosis sublethal dari ekstrak daun legundi (Vitex trifolia Linn.). Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan ialah rancangan acak lengkap yang terdiri atas enam perlakuan dan empat ulangan. Mortalitas larva S. exigua diamati mulai 24 jam sampai dengan 168 jam setelah perlakuan. Data mortalitas larva diolah menggunakan analisis probit untuk menetapkan nilai LC50. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai LC50 SeNPV sebesar 424,67 ppm dan dari empat ekstrak insektisida botani yang terendah diperoleh dari insektisida daun legundi, yaitu 2.199, 277 ppm. Berdasarkan nilai LC50 campuran SeNPV dengan insektisida botani daun legundi menunjukkan efektivitas sinergistik dan meningkatkan efikasi 12,24 kali lipat jika dibandingkan dengan SeNPV secara tunggal. Kombinasi SeNPV dengan ekstrak daun legundi konsentrasi sublethal dapat meningkatkan efikasi virus SeNPV dalam mengendalikan S. exigua.KeywordsSpodoptera exigua; SeNPV; Vitex trifolia; Sinergisme; Mortalitas larv

    Eigen solutions of the Schrӧdinger equation and the thermodynamic stability of the black hole temperature

    The approximate analytical solutions of the Schrӧdinger equation for Eckart potential is obtained via supersymmetry shape invariance approach. The energy equation and the corresponding wave function are obtained in a closed and compact form. The wave function was used to calculate the Rényi entropy. The results of the Rényi entropy was used to study the mass energy parameter, temperature and heat capacity of the black hole. From the results obtained, the temperature of the black hole becomes stable as the two Eckart potential parameters increases respectively
