Estudio socioeconómico y financiero de la implementación del programa de Bachillerato Internacional en la Unidad Educativa La Asunción, Guayaquil.

La educación en nuestro país y a nivel mundial está en un proceso de mejora continua, por lo que debe de aprovecharse de los recursos económicos disponibles para hacer que el proyecto de la Unidad Educativa La Asunción sea sustentable y esté a la vanguardia con los colegios de élite del país. La Unidad Educativa La Asunción fue fundada hace 50 años. Su visión está enfocada en una propuesta educativa de alta calidad humana y científica, comprometida social, política y económicamente en la transformación de la sociedad y construcción del Reino; esta visión va de la mano con la ideología de los colegios BI en el mundo, lo cual dentro del estudio de mercado realiza do, los padres de familia se mostraron muy interesados en esta nueva metodología. El Bachillerato internacional lleva 45 años en el mercado mundial, el mismo que tiene como fin principal preparar jóvenes emprendedores que aporten positivamente a la economía de los países, así también como los ingresos adicionales que genera ser parte del grupo de colegios que ofrecen esta metodología de estudio. Puede ser impartido en español, lo que caracteriza a este Programa es que el currículo es común en todos los países en los que se desarrolla y por eso el título está homologado y sirve para acceder a la Universidad; este Bachillerato está reconocido en prácticamente todos los países del mundo. El Bachillerato Internacional ofrece cuatro programas dirigidos a alumnos entre 3 y 19 años, que ofrecen un ciclo educativo completo y vinculado con el desarrollo integral e intelectual del alumno; este objetivo se alcanza mediante la enseñanza de todas las disciplinas del saber, como los son: lenguas, ciencias, humanidades, matemáticas y artes. Estos cuatro programas demandan el estudio de una gran variedad de asignaturas basadas en diversas culturas del mundo, además se enfatiza el aprendizaje de lenguas desarrollando así las habilidades para aprender y comprender los temas tratados. Fomenta el hábito de la investigación ya sea de forma individual o grupal, e incentiva a un servicio comunitario. Para el desarrollo de este proyecto se consideró como objetivo general el desarrollo de un sistema educativo a nivel internacional, que no solo considere la adquisición de conocimientos, sino el compromiso que compartimos de custodiar el planeta, para contribuir a instauración de un mundo más tranquilo. Para esto se decidió iniciar el proceso para que la Unidad Educativa La Asunción cuente con el programa de Bachillerato Internacional para mejorar la calidad de educación aportando a la sociedad jóvenes capacitados internacionalmente y finalmente incrementar los ingresos de la Unidad Educativa. La Unidad Educativa la Asunción está preparada financieramente para asumir el reto de implementar el programa de Bachillerato Internacional, debido a la trayectoria que tiene no se hará complicado lograr que se utilice un alto porcentaje de su capacidad instalada y de esta manera incrementar l os ingresos. Finalmente, el plan financiero para el proyecto presentado con una inversión inicial de $247.000,00 ha dado como resultado que al implementarlo será viable ya que el VAN es de$166.831,32, muestra una TIR del 36,71% y su periodo de recuperación será de 2 años 3 meses

Exploratory methods and techniques for space technology development and space mission concept development

This paper hopes to fill a gap in literature by framing the current state of exploratory design methods and techniques within space mission development and laying the groundwork to begin utilizing a wider variety of these methods and accompanying techniques. The purpose of this paper is to review the ways in which design methods and techniques used in other fields may be used in support of the space mission concept development process and space technology development. Designers are almost synonymous with the consumer product, automotive and entertainment industries. Fields such as Product Design, Transportation Design and Entertainment emphasize finding solutions to problems using exploratory design methods and techniques. Often, they are leaders in their organizations. However, there is not a direct appreciation or understanding of how to utilize these methods and techniques within aerospace. These methods have been shown to support mission concept development, however may also directly support technology development, as is seen in the consumer product industry. Evidence shows that these methods have sporadically been utilized by NASA for habitat design, software development and astronaut wearables. This paper explores opportunities within the space mission concept development process where these techniques are currently used and develops a design library of methods and techniques used outside of Aerospace that may be supportive of technology development. The current Pre-Phase A concept development process is mapped along with exploratory design methods used in other industries. Design Thinking is a heuristic problem solving method that can be applied to many fields. Human Centered Design and User Centered Design have been utilized for architecture and software development; these same tools could also be used to help inform the design of long term human habitation system on planetary surfaces. The Imagineering process is instrumental in theme park development; this paper argues it should also inform design of robotic science missions such as Mars Sciences. Science Fiction Thinking is a method of extrapolating future technology. How can this type of thinking inform the design of systems that aim to detect life in locations such as the liquid oceans on Europa and Titan? Techniques that are instrumental throughout these methods, such as storyboarding, sketching and prototyping are also defined. Interviews with employees within aerospace, consumer products and entertainment may shed light on opportunities and barriers to utilizing these techniques

Exportación de bolsos acrílicos de la empresa Artesanías J.A de la ciudad de Otavalo, hacia el mercado de Madrid - España

La presente investigación está estructurada por cuatro capítulos, el marco teórico permitió fundamentar teórica y bibliográficamente los diferentes contenidos de la investigación, el segundo capítulo es el diagnóstico de la situación actual de la empresa y el estudio de mercado , el cual se realizó utilizando la herramienta Trade Map y Market Access Map de la partida 42029100, para identificar las importaciones y exportaciones de los bolsos artesanales a nivel mundial, determinando así el mercado adecuado para la exportación del producto. De igual manera se tomó en cuenta para la exportación: factores logísticos, legales y geográficos del país de destino del producto. El capítulo tres en la propuesta de exportación se realizó el perfil de la empresa, de igual manera se estableció los requisitos para exportar bolsos artesanales, las formas de pago utilizadas para la exportación y los pagos que se deben realizar para que el producto ingrese al mercado de Madrid España. Finalmente, el capítulo cuatro se realizó el análisis financiero con la finalidad de determinar los costos de exportación del producto al mercado de destino, y analizar los indicadores financieros como el VAN, TIR, C/B, punto de equilibrio, entre otros.Artesanías J.A has been in the market for several years with its products having a great reception in the public, since it develops quality products for its final customers, the present investigation, allowed to determine a target market to which handicraft bags can be exported. The present investigation is structured in four chapters, the theoretical framework allowed to theoretically and bibliographically base the different contents of the research, the second chapter is the diagnosis of the current situation of the company and the market study, which was carried out using the tool Trade Map and Market Access Map of heading 42029100, to identify imports and exports of handicraft bags worldwide, thus determining the appropriate market for the export of the product. In the same way, exportation was taken into account: logistic, legal and geographical factors of the country of destination of the product. Chapter three in the export proposal made the profile of the company, in the same way the requirements for exporting handbags, the forms of payment used for export and the payments that must be made for the product to enter the market were established from Madrid Spain. Finally, chapter four carried out the financial analysis in order to determine the export costs of the product to the destination market, and analyze the financial indicators such as NPV, IRR, C / B, breakeven point, among others.ENC

The complete mitochondrial and plastid genomes of the invasive marine red alga Caulacanthus okamurae (Caulacanthaceae, Rhodophyta) from Moss Landing, California, USA

Caulacanthus okamurae is an invasive red alga that forms extensive mats in sheltered marine habitats around the world. To determine its genomic structure and genetic relationship to native and other non-native populations of C. okamurae, high-throughput sequencing analysis was performed on an introduced specimen from Bennett Slough, Moss Landing, California, USA. Assembly of 23,146,595 filtered 150 bp paired-end Illumina sequencing reads yielded its complete mitogenome (GenBank accession MT193839) and plastid genome (GenBank accession MT193838). The mitogenome is 25,995 bp in length and contains 50 genes. The plastid genome is 173,516 bp and contains 234 genes. Comparison of the organellar chromosomes to other Gigartinales revealed a high-level of gene synteny. BLAST analysis of marker sequences (rbcL, cox1, cox2) of C. okamurae from Moss Landing identified four identical DNA sequences: one from a specimen from a native population of C. okamurae from South Korea and three from specimens representing invasive populations from France, Spain, and the USA. These genetic results confirm the presence of C. okamurae in central California, USA, and represent the first complete mitogenome and plastid genome from the Caulacanthaceae
