Garis Panduan Reka Bentuk Untuk Meningkatkan Kebolehgunaan Tapak Web
kebolehgunaan tapak web
The Compatibility of Trade Students' Personality and Their Respective Training Environment: An Application of Holland's Theory
The research was stimulated by a phenomenon among the trade
students whose 'output' had not been commensurating with the high 'input'
on them. An important influencing factor was the selection system. The
research study was carried out in three vocational schools in Negeri Sembilan
to study the compatibility of the trade students' personality and their
respective trade training environment. Compatibility had been treated as
the indicator for the effectiveness of the selection system. A total of 248
Form 5 students from seven trade courses were involved in this study.
The data were collected using a questionnaire with the Vocational
Preference Inventory (VPI) as its main component. The VPI provided the
personality scores of the subjects. Whereas The Occupational Classification
provided the environmental code for the occupation most representative
of the trade. Statistical tools employed in analyzing the data were the t-test,
Kendall's Coefficient of Concordance and Chi-square. The findings of the
research study were: (1) realistic personality type was well differentiated
with the other personality types except the enterprising p ersonality type;
(2) enterprising personality type was the most dominant personality type
among the students followed by realistic personality type; (3) the students
were incompatible with their trade where their overall mean Compatibility
Index was 3.80; (4) there was no significant difference in compatibility
between the SRP passers and the SRP failures
Enhanced anthraquinones production from adsorbent-treated Morinda elliptica cell suspension cultures in production medium strategy.
Continuous removal of anthraquinones (AQ) by Amberlite polymeric adsorbents (XAD-4, XAD-7 and XAD-16) through in situ adsorption in Morinda elliptica cell suspension cultures is studied for product recovery and improvement of the overall titre. Ethanol was the best eluting solvent for effective recovery of AQ from all adsorbents. Pre-treatment of XAD-4 with sodium acetate not only enhanced intracellular AQ, but also AQ release and subsequent recovery from the adsorbent. The addition of sodium acetate pretreated XAD-4 on day 18 for 6-day contact period, achieved comparable cell growth to control (41 g/L), but with 1.3-fold higher intracellular AQ (124 mg/g DW) and two-fold increase in extracellular AQ (14.3 mg/L). High amount of adsorbent and longer contact period for the cultures entering stationary growth phase, stimulated AQ release and recovery but at the expense of cell growth. With 5–8.3 g XAD-4 adsorbent per litre M. elliptica culture in production (P) medium, between 60 and 90% AQ was recovered from extracellular AQ after 24–26 days of culture period
Evaluation Of Conventional Digital Camera Scenes For Thematic Information Extraction.
The increasing availability of remote-sensing images, acquired periodically by satellite sensors on the same geo makes it extremely interesting to develop the monitoring systems capable of automatically producing and reg landcover maps of the considered site (Bruzzone, et ai., 2002)
A Study on Intercultural Communication between Japanese Employers Based in Malaysia and the Malaysian Employees
Intercultural communication is the process of exchanging, negotiating, and mediating cultural differences between people from different cultural backgrounds, encompassing language, non-verbal gestures, and spatial relationships. Research on intercultural communication involving Japanese individuals has mainly focused on comparisons between Japanese and Westerners, particularly Americans. As Japan plays a significant role in the global business environment, foreign businesspersons working with Japanese companies may encounter communication gaps due to cultural values, assumptions, business customs, and language differences. In Malaysia, where there are several Japanese companies employing many Malaysians, there is a strong interest in learning the Japanese language and culture. Malaysians are impressed with the work culture of Japanese companies and seek to learn from them, which enhances their chances of working in Japanese companies, both in Malaysia and Japan. Effective communication between Japanese employers and Malaysian employees is crucial for learning from people of different cultures. To gain deeper insights into the intercultural communication in Japanese corporations working environment, this study examines the situations and challenges faced by Japanese employers working with Malaysian employees, and vice versa. The participants consist of Japanese employers and Malaysian employees who interact with Japanese employers in their day-to-day jobs. A qualitative study using focus groups was adopted, and the responses were analyzed using thematic analysis, leading to the emergence of three main themes: working culture, communication ability, and cultural differences. This paper discusses the results based on these themes and presents recommendations to improve intercultural communication in the workplace.

The Mediating Effect of Consumers’ Purchase Intention: A Perspective of Online Shopping Behavior among Generation Y
Young consumers spend most of their time online in comparison to the working adults due to their great potential of buying power as well finding that online shopping is more convenient. The objective of this study is to investigate factors determining online purchase intention among the university students whereby variables such as attitude, subjective norm, trust, purchase intention and behavior were tested. Total of 800 questionnaires were distributed and 662 questionnaires were usable. A quantitative research was undertaken through the distribution of survey questionnaires and the data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to test the relations among variables. The analyses have proven that purchase intention has functioned effectively as a mediator between the independent variables (attitude, subjective norm and trust) and dependent variables (online shopping behavior). The results of this study offer some new frontiers in supporting as well as enriching more studies in the scope of online shopping behaviors. This study contributes to the dynamics of the causative relations between examined variables and highlights the significance of attitude, subjective norm, trust and consumer behavior in ascertaining the purchase intention in the context of Malaysian online purchases. The Impact of Fiscal Policy on Economic Growth in ASEAN-5 Countries
The issues of fiscal policy dependency, vulnerabilities of domestic economy, frail financial uphold, and small fiscal multiplier motivated this study to examine the relationship between fiscal policy and economic growth in ASEAN-5 for the period of 1970–2016. Based on the nature of the data, the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) approach has used. The results reveals that fiscal policy instrument namely government expenditure is statistically significant in ASEAN-5 economies except for Indonesia. Results also shows that implementation of non-tax in the long run results in expenditure being significant in ASEAN-5 except in Indonesia; tax and non-tax are significant in the Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore; and debt is significant in Indonesia and Thailand. The policy contributes to the Philippines and Thailand to increase the rate of non-tax in support of the growing expenditure. Results in case of Singapore highly recommends increasing the rate of tax and non-tax to decline its accrued debt. Government authorities should be transparent to ensure growth stability through prudent and effective policy in aggregate demand using the fiscal instrument in ASEAN economies
Alkaloids and carboxylic acids from Piper nigrum
Detailed chemical studies were carried out on the roots of Piper nigrum. Six alkaloids and four carboxylic acids were isolated and identified from this study. The alkaloids were piperolactam A (1), piperolactam D (2), cepharadione A (3), piperine (4), sylvamide (5) and 2,4-tetradecadienoic acid isobutyl amide (6). The carboxylic acids were tetracosanoic acid, p-hydroxy-m-methoxycinnamate ester (7), 3,4-methylenedioxycinnamic acid (8), 2-butenedioic acid, mono-(2-methylpropyl) ester (9) and 3,4-methylenedioxy benzoic acid (10). Larvicidal assays on Aedes aegypti were carried out on the crude extracts of these plants as well as the pure compounds. The larvae were found to be susceptible to some of these extracts and compounds. This paper reports the isolation and characterization of these compounds as well as bioassay data. This is the first report on the presence of piperolactam A (1), piperolactam D (2) cepharadione A (3) and sylvamide (5) in Piper nigrum
DRIVING FORCE OF E-LOYALTY IN ONLINE BANKING SECTOR IN THE CONTEXT OF MALAYSIA
The development of customer loyalty in online banking has become a basic issue because of the positive and constructive influence on banks' long haul productivity. With increasing Internet access, the competition is only one tick away. Customer loyalty in online banking sector appears to be essential for electronic banks both in a competitive and additionally an economic sense. Hence, there is a need to understand how customer loyalty in the online banking sector is created. Previous studies found that e-service quality, e-satisfaction, and e-trust have direct or indirect effects on the creation of e-loyalty. However, previous studies just demonstrated a piece of relationships between these variables and their effects on e-loyalty. A hole can be discovered that there is not a comprehensive view on all of the effects that service quality, customer satisfaction, and customer trust have on customer loyalty in the context of online banking. Therefore, the present research tried to provide a comprehensive model to fill the crevice of previous literature and demonstrate the relationship of e-service quality, e-satisfaction, and e-trust with e-loyalty in the online banking sector. The target sample in this investigation was experienced Internet banking users. Based on the investigation, it is discovered that e-satisfaction and e-trust assume the real role to construct e-loyalty in the online banking sector. However, e-service quality is not a predictor of customer e-loyalty towards Internet banking websites. It means that customers tend not to be steadfast even. However, the online banking service providers provide great services. The investigation impediments, suggestions, alongside directions for further research are discussed
