Doing Business in the Countries of Visegrad Group

AbstractEntrepreneurial activity and business environment are two of the closely watched areas. World Economic Forum makes comparison of the countries all over the world in the Doing Business. Nowadays are involved 189 countries into the overall evaluation. The article proposes to describe the Ease of Doing Business in the Czech Republic and countries from the Visegrad Group. We will concretely focus on Starting of Business and Paying taxes. The first part of the article contains the description of indexes Starting of Business and Paying taxes. Main part and goal of the article is devoted to the results of the development in the evaluation in the Czech Republic and countries from the Visegrad Group. Those two indexes have the impact on business entities in starting of the business and on the economic situation. The article is based on results the Doing business report from World Bank Group, other professional sources and knowledge of the initial state. Czech Republic is in the compared states on the last place with sub indexes Starting a business and also Paying taxes. Differences in ratings of countries from the Visegrad Group are not considerable, only Starting a business is better in Hungary

ABSTRACT: The diploma thesis entitled Left-handedness and its acceptance in contemporary education system and families follows up and complements the bachelor thesis entitled The issue of left- handedness in the development of children and youth - history, present and perspectives. The first and second chapters of the theoretical part of the diploma thesis focus more deeply on the characteristics of left-handed writing styles, advantages and disadvantages of left-handed writing, suitable writing aids, classroom order, organization of work environment and writing methodology. The third chapter is devoted to laterality tests with a focus on the upper limb, lower limb, eye and ear, test tasks, their conditions and evaluation. The last fourth chapter of the theoretical part deals with the central nervous system, more precisely the brain and its asymmetric anatomy, function, control of upper limb movements and motor development of the upper limb. ABSTRAKT: Diplomová práce s názvem Levorukost a její akceptování v současném školství a rodinách navazuje a doplňuje Bakalářskou práci s názvem Problematika levorukosti ve vývoji dětí a mládeže - historie, současnost a perspektivy. První a druhá kapitola teoretické části diplomové práce se hlouběji zaměřuje na charakteristiku stylů levorukého písma, výhody a nevýhody levorukého psaní, vhodné psací pomůcky, zasedací pořádek ve třídě, organizaci pracovního prostředí a metodiku psaní. Třetí kapitola je věnována zkouškám laterality se zaměřením na horní končetinu, dolní končetinu, oko a ucho, testovacím úkolům, jejich podmínkám průběhu a vyhodnocení. Poslední čtvrtá kapitola teoretické části se věnuje centrální nervové soustavě, přesněji mozku a jeho asymetrické anatomii, funkci, řízení pohybů horní končetiny a motorickému vývoji horní končetiny. Praktická část diplomové práce je složena z pěti výzkumů. První výzkum ověřuje výskyt leváků na základních školách a nižších ročnících víceletých gymnázií a následně zjištěné hodnoty porovnává s předchozí bakalářskou prací. Mortgage Loans and Impacts of the Global Pandemic COVID-19 in the Globalized Society

Research background: The paper is focused on the financial product, esp. on mortgage loans that are often used products in the field of long-term financing in the Czech Republic. These products provide commercial banks and other financial institutions on the Czech globalized financial market. Purpose of the article: The aim of the paper is to analyze the situation on the globalized financial market focused on the mortgage loans and loans from building societies in view of the global Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: Firstly a theoretical background with a review of the literature is provided, then research methodology is described, the key part brings results of development of mortgage loans, development of interest rates and the analysis of the current situation on the mortgage loan market with estimation of future development. The last part is focused on the comparison of selected mortgage loans provided by five financial institution. The article is based on primary and secondary sources. A detailed research together with the analysis and critical assessment of accessible materials will enable to identify the main objectives in the field of study. Findings & Value added: Interest rates on mortgage loans have on the Czech market downward trend in the last years. The best conditions scored in 2019 loan from building society Modrá pyramida. The overall situation in 2020 cause lower interest rates in the mortgage loans. The Use of the Social Networks by Elderly People in the Czech Republic and Other Countries V4

Part 1: Adoption of Smart ServicesInternational audienceIn the article we will focus on the elderly people in the connection with the utilization of social networks in the Czech Republic, countries of Visegrad Group and the EU 28. Individuals use social networks for sharing materials, photos or videos, communication or posting messages. Very important is also a topic of social isolation that will be discussed in the article. The results of the statistics show that the share of seniors in the Czech Republic has an increasing trend. The utilization of social networks by elderly people has in the Czech Republic also increasing trend except for the second quarter of the 2015 year when a slight decrease was recorded. In comparison with other countries from Visegrad group and the EU 28 the Czech Republic reached lower results in the utilization of social networks. In two evaluated criteria from three the Czech Republic was comparable to Poland. The age groups show that with increasing age there is a declining trend for the use of social networks. 10.1% of the population from 55 to 64 years and 3.3% of the population over 65 use social networks in the second quarter of 2015. Data show that almost half of the elderly people that use social networks get connected almost every day

The Use of Internet and Mobile Banking in the Czech Republic

International audienceInternet and mobile banking is becoming more important worldwide. New technologies have huge impact for the introduction of new functionalities in both internet and mobile banking. Growth of Internet users and smartphones also has an impact on this growth. The Czech Republic was using internet banking above the European Union average in 2017. In the European Union 51% of individuals used internet banking and 57% of individuals in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the article is to analyze the situation in the use of internet banking in the Czech Republic by the number and percentage of individuals and by age, gender and education. The second part of the article is focused on the analysis of ten banks with the largest number of clients in the Czech Republic, where they analyze the latest and most needed features of their mobile banking from the client and expert juries perspective. Factors Determining Optimal Social Media Network Portfolio for Accounting Firms: The Case of the Czech Republic

International audienceOver the last few years, online social networks have experienced exponential growth in both profile registrations and social interactions. They are widely used in the personal life but also in the business. The goal of the article is to state the most often used accounting software and their producers in the connection with use of social networks by producers of accounting software in the Czech Republic. The sub-goal is to present records gained from Socialbakers focused on the evolution of fans on Facebook and how a company decides on the use of the optimal mix of platforms. Classification of social networks, social media and accounting software are solved and shortly described at the first theoretical part. Main producers of accounting software and analysis of social networks that are used by producers of accounting software are presented in the main part of the article. It is also analyzed whether producers of accounting software have direct links from web pages on the selected social networks. The last part is devoted to selected social networks and how to use it in the companies producing accounting software. Selected topic is up-to-date and it is not often solved in the literature. The topic is important to the professional public. It was founded that most often used social network by producers of accounting software are Facebook, YouTube and Twitter. The links from web pages are often used also in the connection with Google+. All companies do not put links on the used social networks
