As one of the most sensitive areas to global environmental change, especially global climate change, the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau is an ideal area for studying global climate change and ecosystems. There are few studies on the analysis of the vegetation’s driving factors on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau based on large-scale and high-resolution data due to the incompetence of satellite sensors. In order to study the long-term vegetation spatiotemporal pattern and its driving factors, this study used the enhanced spatial and temporal adaptive reflectance fusion model (ESTARFM) to improve the spatial resolution of the GIMMS NDVI3g (8 km) data of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau in 1990 and 1995 based on the MODIS NDVI (500 m) data. The research on the spatiotemporal pattern and driving factors of vegetation on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau from 1990 to 2015 was carried out afterward, with combined data including topographic factors, annual average temperature, and annual precipitation. The results showed that there was a strong correlation between the actual MODIS NDVI image and the fused GIMMS NDVI3g image, which means that the accuracy of the fused GIMMS NDVI3g image is reliable and can provide basic data for the accurate evaluation of the spatial and temporal patterns of vegetation on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau. From 1990 to 2015, the overall vegetation coverage of the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau showed a degrading trend at a rate of −0.41%, and the degradation trend of vegetation coverage was the weakest when the slope was ≥25°. Due to the influence of the policy of returning farmland to forests, the overall degradation trend has gradually weakened. The significant changes in vegetation in 2010 can be attributed to the difference in the spatial distribution of climatic factors such as temperature and precipitation. The area with reduced vegetation in the west was larger than the area with increased vegetation in the east. The effects of temperature and precipitation on the distribution, direction, and degradation level of vegetation coverage were varied by the areal differentiation in different zones

Research and Design of Fault Indicator Using Comprehensive Detection and Identification Method

With the progress and development of society, the power supply quality of power system is required to be higher and higher. It is necessary to locate the fault and remove it quickly. Therefore, it is necessary to install fault indicator on distribution line to improve the efficiency of finding fault location. As an important part of distribution network, the 10kV overhead line has the characteristics of many branches, wide coverage area, time-consuming and labor-consuming in line inspection and maintenance. The fault indicators currently used have problems such as complex structure, high cost of installation and deployment, and inaccurate fault detection. In this paper, a new type of fault indicator is proposed, which uses the comprehensive fault detection method. DSP processor is used to collect, calculate and process the voltage and current information of power grid. Through the embedded programming language, the comprehensive fault detection and identification is realized. Finally, the acquisition accuracy and fault judgment accuracy of the fault indicator are tested by simulating the fault signal in the laboratory. The experimental results show that the proposed fault indicator has high accuracy and can meet the requirements of fault indication, location and alarm

Annual Precipitation Fluctuation and Spatial Differentiation Characteristics of the Horqin Region

Precipitation is the main water source for vegetation survival in arid and semi-arid areas. However, previous studies always focus on the effects of precipitation in different time scales, but ignore the effects of precipitation in different spatial scales. To further study the effects of precipitation fluctuation in different spatial scales, we used the wavelet analysis method to analyze its temporal and spatial change based on data from eighteen meteorological stations during 1961–2015 in Horqin region. Results showed that: (1) from the overall tendency of precipitation changes, the precipitation inter-annual variations in Horqin region had the tendency of gradually decreasing from the southeast (District IV) to the northwest; (2) the precipitation anomalies of District I–IV between 1960 and 1980 were small and approximate to the normal value; (3) in the time scale of 23–32 years, the cyclical fluctuations were very significant and the annual precipitation underwent two cyclical fluctuations from a period of low precipitation to a period of high precipitation; and (4) as results of analyzing the spatial wavelet variance of sub-region, the main cycle of precipitation in District I, District II and District III was between 10 and 11 years, while the main cycle of precipitation in District IV was 25 years. The main conclusions include the following. (1) This region tended to be arid, and the precipitation gradually decreased from the southeast (District IV) to northwest (District I). (2) The influence of spatial differentiation characteristics on precipitation fluctuation in this region was cyclical fluctuation, which gradually decreased from the southeast to the northwest. The length of the cyclical change period gradually shortened. In the first main cycle, whose annual precipitation changes were most significant, the changing characteristic was District IV and District I decreased from 25 years to 10 years. (3) Predicated from the cyclical changing law that the annual precipitation decreases from high to low, the Horqin region will remain in a period of low precipitation between 2016 and 2020

CoDock-Ligand: combined template-based docking and CNN-based scoring in ligand binding prediction

Abstract For ligand binding prediction, it is crucial for molecular docking programs to integrate template-based modeling with a precise scoring function. Here, we proposed the CoDock-Ligand docking method that combines template-based modeling and the GNINA scoring function, a Convolutional Neural Network-based scoring function, for the ligand binding prediction in CASP15. Among the 21 targets, we obtained successful predictions in top 5 submissions for 14 targets and partially successful predictions for 4 targets. In particular, for the most complicated target, H1114, which contains 56 metal cofactors and small molecules, our docking method successfully predicted the binding of most ligands. Analysis of the failed systems showed that the predicted receptor protein presented conformational changes in the backbone and side chains of the binding site residues, which may cause large structural deviations in the ligand binding prediction. In summary, our hybrid docking scheme was efficiently adapted to the ligand binding prediction challenges in CASP15

The effects of solid solution treatment duration on the corrosion behavior and microstructure behavior of the cast Mg-8.5Li-6.5Zn-1.2Y (wt.%) alloy were investigated. This study revealed that with the treatment time for solid solutions increasing from 2 h to 6 h, the amount of α-Mg phase gradually decreases, and the alloy presents a needle-like shape after solid solution treatment for 6 h. Meanwhile, when the solid solution treatment time increases, the I-phase content drops. Exceptionally, under 4 h of solid solution treatment, the I-phase content has increased, and it is dispersed uniformly over the matrix. What we found in our hydrogen evolution experiments is that the hydrogen evolution rate of the as-cast Mg-8.5Li-6.5Zn-1.2Y alloy following solid solution processing for 4 h is 14.31 mL·cm−2·h−1, which is the highest rate. In the electrochemical measurement, the corrosion current density (icorr) value of as-cast Mg-8.5Li-6.5Zn-1.2Y alloy following solid solution processing for 4 h is 1.98 × 10−5, which is the lowest density. These results indicate that solid solution treatment can significantly improve the corrosion resistance of the Mg-8.5Li-6.5Zn-1.2Y alloy. The I-phase and the α-Mg phase are the primary elements influencing the corrosion resistance of the Mg-8.5Li-6.5Zn-1.2Y alloy. The existence of the I-phase and the border dividing the α-Mg phase and ÎČ-Li phase easily form galvanic corrosion. Although the I-phase and the boundary between the α-Mg phase and ÎČ-Li phase will be corrosion breeding sites, they are more effective in inhibiting corrosion
