Taxonomic results of the Bryotrop expedition to Zaire and Rwanda : 22., Orthotrichum

Adistinct species easily recognized by the long exserted, narrow cylindric capsules. The peristome has 8 teeth and 8 segments which distinguishes this taxon from the closely related O. firmum. They both belong to the section Leiocarpa within the subgenus Phaneroporum. Species closely related to the two African taxa are common throughout the Southern Hemisphere. Orthotrichum arborescens is an epiphyte reported from Arundinaria alpina, giant Senecio and Philippia. It is an alpine species occuring between 2.500 and 4.000 m altitude. The Neumann problem in thin domains with very highly oscillatory boundaries

In this paper we analyze the behavior of solutions of the Neumann problem posed in a thin domain of the type $R^\epsilon = \{(x_1,x_2) \in \R^2 \; | \; x_1 \in (0,1), \, - \, \epsilon \, b(x_1) < x_2 < \epsilon \, G(x_1, x_1/\epsilon^\alpha) \}$ with $\alpha>1$ and $\epsilon > 0$, defined by smooth functions $b(x)$ and $G(x,y)$, where the function $G$ is supposed to be $l(x)$-periodic in the second variable $y$. The condition $\alpha > 1$ implies that the upper boundary of this thin domain presents a very high oscillatory behavior. Indeed, we have that the order of its oscillations is larger than the order of the amplitude and height of $R^\epsilon$ given by the small parameter $\epsilon$. We also consider more general and complicated geometries for thin domains which are not given as the graph of certain smooth functions, but rather more comb-like domains.Comment: 20 pages, 4 figure

PENGARUH BEBAN GAJI DAN TUNJANGAN TERHADAP TOTAL LABA PERIODE BERJALAN PADA PT TELEKOMUNIKASI INDONESIA TBK PERIODE 2016-2023

Salaries and benefits are major components of a company's operational costs that can influence profitability. This study aims to analyze the effect of salaries and benefits expenses on total income for the period at PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk from 2016 to 2023. The research method used is simple linear regression with secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk. The analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between salaries and benefits expenses as the independent variable and total income for the period as the dependent variable. &nbsp; The results show that salaries and benefits expenses significantly affect total income for the period, with a regression coefficient value of 0.2832 and an R Square of 0.9274. Pengalaman Komunikasi Orang Tua Dalam Perubahan Pembelajaran Anak Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Deskriptif Kualitatif Pada Orang Tua Di SD Negeri Setiamekar 04)

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengalaman komunikasi Orang Tua yang berhubungan dengan perubahan perilaku orang tua terhadap perubahan pembelajaran anak selama pandemi Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu orang tua siswa kelas I dan II SD. Pengumpulan data diambil melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi secara langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat adanya perubahan perilaku orang tua terhadap perubahan pembelajaran anak selama pandemi Covid-19. Beberapa temuan yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini terkait perubahan perilaku orang tua, yaitu orang tua cenderung sulit untuk menahan kesabaran; orang tua mengalami kesulitan membimbing; orang tua menganggap penting dalam hal menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan; orang tua lebih menyukai pembelajaran tatap muka (konvensional). Selama dalam pembelajaran daring, terdapat hambatan komunikasi semantik dalam menentukan diksi yang tepat sehingga dapat mempermudah anak dalam memahami materi pelajaran. Selain itu terdapat hambatan teknis, yakini kurang menyeluruhnya pembagian subsidi kuota pemerintah sehingga mengakibatkan orang tua harus membeli kuota dengan uang pribadi; dan masih ditemukannya orang tua siswa kelas I dan II yang kurang mengerti fitur media pembelajaran seperti zoom

Arbuscular mycorrhizal and dark septate endophyte associations of medicinal plants

Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) and dark septate endophyte (DSE) associations were studied in 36 medicinal plant species from 33 genera and 17 families, collected from the Botanical Garden of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) was found in 34 species (94%); 26 were of the Arum-type, 4 – Paris and 4 taxa revealed intermediate morpho­logy. The abundance of AMF hyphae in roots varied with particular species, ranging from 2.5% (Helianthus tuberosus) to 77.9% (Convallaria majalis). The mycelium of DSE was observed in 13 plant species (36%), however, the percentage of root colonization by these fungi was low. Spores of 7 AMF species (Glomeromycota) were isolated from trap cultures established from rhizosphere soils of the investigated plants: Archaeospora trappei (Archaeosporaceae), Glomus aureum, Glomus caledonium, Glomus claroideum, Glomus constrictum, Glomus mosseae, Glomus versiforme (Glomeraceae). Our results are the first detailed report of root endophyte associations of the plant species under study. Moreover, the mycorrhizal status of 14 plant species is reported for the first time
