Creative methods of noospheric learning through art assets: Case study of authentic education
In this article authors discuss the methodology of evaluating noospheric insights in higher education students through art assets. A very important goal of students’ inclusion into the authentic context of ecological education is being achieved. As a result of this study, evaluation criteria were determined, such as imagination, emotionality, originality, abstraction. For the more in-depth development of the evaluation procedure the following methods were used: educational experiment, observation, questionnaires, semantic differential (SD), method of setting the attitude on associative transformation of the object being perceived, creative methods. Authors determined the levels of student’s noospheric insights formation (high, above average, average, low) for the following evaluation of correlation between the categories of singular, special and common in students’ aesthetical insights. The results, including content and structural, functional components, are described in this article, allowing to connect the process of noosperic insights mastering by students with the authentic context of education
The prospects of using hawthorn fruits for the production of biologically active food additives and food products based on them
Due to the wide range of pharmacological properties and the presence of bioactive components with antioxidant action hawthorn fruits can be widely used as part of dietary supplements for the prevention or improvement of diseases associated with oxidation and (or) obesity, as well as concomitant cardiovascular diseases. An urgent task of the modern pharmaceutical and food industry in the development of biologically active food additives is the use of hawthorn varieties that are resistant to the accumulation of heavy metals and have increased resistance to excess toxic elements. The chemical composition and safety indicators of fresh hawthorn fruits have been studied and it has been established that the studied fruits of zoned hawthorn varieties in terms of safety indicators meet the requirements of the State Pharmacopoeia of the Russian Federation and can subsequently be used in the development of biologically active food additives. An analysis of the safety indicators of powders made from hawthorn fruits dried at different temperatures was carried out. It has been established that maximum preservation of ascorbic acid in hawthorn fruit processing products is facilitated by drying fresh fruits at 50°C
Analysis of test beam data of ALPIDE, the Monolithic Active Pixel Sensor (MAPS) for the ALICE ITS upgrade
The ALICE experiment has scheduled a major upgrade of its experimen- tal apparatus for the Long Shutdown 2 of LHC in 2019-2020. Within this enterprise, CERN is strongly involved in the development of a novel Inner Tracking System (ITS). The ITS will be based on Monolithic Active Pixel Sensors (MAPS), a cutting-edge technology that will allow to improve the detector performance signicantly. The nal sensor, called ALPIDE, is in production since December 2016. This project is focused on the characterization of irradiated ALPIDE sensors
Sustainable use of natural resources in the Arctic region (the example of China’s cooperation with Western countries)
The relevance of this study is caused by the need to solve problems of sustainable use of natural resources in the Arctic region when implementing projects with international participation. The paper highlighted a number of the most significant problems of the region, which destroy the ecological balance. The areas of development of the natural resources of the Arctic region have been determined with the participation of countries interested in this, in particular, China, which is striving to become the leading export world power and influence the sustainable use of natural resources in the Arctic region. The paper analyzes the interests of China in the Arctic, identifies the strategy of China’s behavior and the main directions of international cooperation with the countries of Northern Europe and North America in the Arctic region. China is increasingly pursuing its Arctic policy, and international cooperation is an important way for China to strengthen its research and economic potential in the Arctic. The dominant interests of China in the Arctic are: the development of polar scientific research; the creation of a transport and logistics system; development of hydrocarbon energy and mineral resources; development of systems based on renewable energy sources; maintaining ecological balance, including through the development of a green economy in the region; environmental protection. In this regard, China is taking active steps to establish strong bilateral and multilateral relations with Western countries, the so-called Arctic G8 countries, and seeks to promote its interests in the region under consideration, including through large investments in the Arctic projects of these countries
EFFECT OF SOMATIC ANISAKIS SIMPLEX EXTRACT TO DEVELOPMENT CHICK EMBRYOS
Helminthes have embryotoxic and teratogenic effects to host’s cells and tissues.Investigations were carried out mainly on embryo and fetus in mammals.Blaszkowska, J. (1998); Kadlubowski R. (2000) conducted studies of in chickembryos. Dose-dependent effect is also studied and found that small doses causeembryotoxic effect, while higher doses - teratogenic. Anisakis simplex antigenshave also embryotoxic effect has been found. The aim of our research was toexamine the effect of A. simplex somatic antigen to the development of chickembryos in its experimental introduction in various ways and at different stages ofembryogenesis. For the study chicken embryos were used at different stages ofembryogenesis: 7.5, 10.5 and 12.5 days. Methods for introducing antigen chickenembryos: in the allantois cavity, on-chorion allantois membrane and yolk sac at 0.2ml. The autopsy was performed on embryos 2 and 8 days. The eggs and embryoswere weighed and evaluated the embryonic development. As a result of the firstexperience the greatest change observed by mass, and when administered in thedevelopment of antigen in both yolk sac on day 2 (1.68 ± 0.06, unlike control 2.25± 0.20), and at 8 days ( 9.97 ± 6.21 in the experiment versus 14.89 ± 0.78 in thecontrol), respectively. In the second experiment eggs were used at 1 and 5 dayincubation embryos. The antigen was administered in both cases also in the yolksac at a dose of 0.2 ml. In the second experiment there was a delay in thedevelopment of both cases at autopsy after 2 days in non-incubated eggs missingthe development of, unlike the control, the development of which 48 hourscorresponded; including 5 daily observed decrease in weight 0.88 ± 0.22, against1.05 ± 0.05 and 8 days in a similar way. As a result of experiments on the effect ofthe Anisakis simplex somatic antigen on the development of chick embryosembryotoxic action installed. Thus antigen has the greatest effect on developmentof early embryos and putting it into the yolk sac
ENDOTHELIUM AND CARDIOPROTECTIVE EFFECTS OF HMG-CO-A-REDUCTASE IN COMBINATION WITH L-ARGININE IN ENDOTHELIAL DYSFUNCTION MODELING
Using the combined application of L-arginine with HMG-Co-A reductase inhibitors simvastatin, atorvastatin, rosuvastatin and nanoparticulated rosuvastatin on the background of modeling of sepsis-induced disease through the introduction of strain 603 Staphylococcus aureus shows endotelio- and cardioprotective effects, manifesting itself in preventing the proliferation of endothelial dysfunction coefficient (CED), adrenoreactivity, maintenance of myocardial reserve and the normalization of biochemical markers values (Total NO, eNOS expression, C-reactive protein, IL-6, TNF). In this case, the combined therapy was so effective that the values obtained thereunder did not differ from those obtained from control animals
