Using Cluster Analysis to Identify Subgroups of College Students at Increased Risk for Cardiovascular Disease
Background and Purpose: To examine the co-occurrence of cardiovascular risk factors and cluster subgroups of college students for cardiovascular risks. Methods: A cross sectional descriptive study was conducted using co-occurrence patterns and hierarchical clustering analysis in 158 college students. Results: The top co-occurring cardiovascular risk factors were overweight/obese and hypertension (10.8%, n = 17). Of the total 34 risk factors that co-occurred, 30 of them involved being overweight/obese. A six-cluster-solution was obtained, two clusters displayed elevated levels of lifetime and 30-year cardiovascular disease risks. Conclusions: The hierarchical cluster analysis identified that single White males with a family history of heart disease, overweight/obese, hypertensive or diabetes, and occasionally (weekly) consumed red meat, take antihypertensive medication, and hyperlipidemia were considered the higher risk group compared to other subgroups
Toddler Characteristics and Attention
Abstract
Individual differences have become increasingly relevant when addressing variability across child development. Literature bears evidence that these differences may impact a toddler’s ability to respond to Joint Attention (JA). JA refers to a communicative gaze and pointing between a child and another individual. JA has been recognized as being a critical milestone, to the formation and cultivation of shared awareness and attention of an event or object. JA is a skill that is critical to the development of future language acquisition (Vaughan Van Hecke et al., 2007). The aim of this study is to measure whether child characteristics, such as their temperament, ability to self-regulate and interpersonal relationships; have an impact on their ability to respond to JA cues. Children\u27s temperaments are strongly correlated to their ability to maintain fixation on an object and to sustain focused attention (Papageorgiou et al., 2014). Other studies have demonstrated how a toddler’s ability to regulate their temperament, help them to better regulate their attention (Morrison et al., 2010). Salley (2016) was able to demonstrate that increased positive behaviors while engaged in play with caregivers; was associated with initiating JA (Salley et al., 2016). These studies help support the association between JA and child characteristics; little research has been done to understand if child characteristics impacts a toddler’s ability to respond to JA. To assess these domains of a toddler’s characteristics, I will use the Early Childhood Behavior Questionnaire (ECBQ) to measure the toddlers Temperament (Putnam, 2006) and Devereux Early Childhood Assessment (DECA) to look collect subscales for attachment/relationships, initiative, and self-regulation (Ogg et al. 2010). The results of this project will help to add to the literature on individual differences in child characteristics and its subsequent impact on toddler responses to joint attention
Pengaruh Pengumuman Dividen Terhadap Perubahan Harga Saham Sebelum Dan Sesudah Ex-dividend Date Di Bursa Efek Jakarta (Bej)
This research is aimed to examine the influence of ex-dividend date on stock price movements in the Jakarta Stock Exchange. A 30-days of observation%2C divided into a 15-days period before and a 15-days period after the ex-dividend date%2C is analized by using an event study method applying the Paired Sample T-test.The result shows that the average price of stocks before the ex-dividend date are significantly different with those after the ex-dividend date. It indicates that there is a significant movement in the stocks prices between the both periods of observation due to dividend announcement. Far more than that%2C the research also reveals that the amount of the stocks price alteration is statistically the same as the amount of their dividend per share

A multi-modal data resource for investigating topographic heterogeneity in patient-derived xenograft tumors.
Patient-derived xenografts (PDXs) are an essential pre-clinical resource for investigating tumor biology. However, cellular heterogeneity within and across PDX tumors can strongly impact the interpretation of PDX studies. Here, we generated a multi-modal, large-scale dataset to investigate PDX heterogeneity in metastatic colorectal cancer (CRC) across tumor models, spatial scales and genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic and imaging assay modalities. To showcase this dataset, we present analysis to assess sources of PDX variation, including anatomical orientation within the implanted tumor, mouse contribution, and differences between replicate PDX tumors. A unique aspect of our dataset is deep characterization of intra-tumor heterogeneity via immunofluorescence imaging, which enables investigation of variation across multiple spatial scales, from subcellular to whole tumor levels. Our study provides a benchmark data resource to investigate PDX models of metastatic CRC and serves as a template for future, quantitative investigations of spatial heterogeneity within and across PDX tumor models
Kata Kunci; PDRB, Inflasi dan Suku Bunga ABSTRACT                   An area can be said to grow and expand if there is an economic development which is indicated by the increasing demand for goods and services. Changes The high demand from the public will be able to increase the money supply and will lead to inflation. Inflation has a role to the amount of funds deposited by the public at the bank. In addition to the interest rates offered, inflation also plays an important role in influencing the behavior of people to save. Inflation is an increase in the price of goods and services as a whole. High inflation will reduce the real value of the money saved, in other words Inflation is an event that tends to push up the price level. In addition to GRDP and inflation, factors that influence growth banking through an increase in the amount of public savings is the deposit interest rate.                   The purpose of this research is to analyze whether PDRB, inflation rate, and interest rate have positive and significant influence to community saving level in 2006-2015. The analysis technique used is time series data.                   And the results of the study show that GRDP has an influence on the savings rate of the people of North Sulawesi, while Inflation and Interest Rates together do not affect the level of community savings in North Sulawesi. Key Word : PDRB, Inflation, Interest Rate
Approximations for many-body Green's functions: insights from the fundamental equations
Several widely used methods for the calculation of band structures and photo
emission spectra, such as the GW approximation, rely on Many-Body Perturbation
Theory. They can be obtained by iterating a set of functional differential
equations relating the one-particle Green's function to its functional
derivative with respect to an external perturbing potential. In the present
work we apply a linear response expansion in order to obtain insights in
various approximations for Green's functions calculations. The expansion leads
to an effective screening, while keeping the effects of the interaction to all
orders. In order to study various aspects of the resulting equations we
discretize them, and retain only one point in space, spin, and time for all
variables. Within this one-point model we obtain an explicit solution for the
Green's function, which allows us to explore the structure of the general
family of solutions, and to determine the specific solution that corresponds to
the physical one. Moreover we analyze the performances of established
approaches like over the whole range of interaction strength, and we
explore alternative approximations. Finally we link certain approximations for
the exact solution to the corresponding manipulations for the differential
equation which produce them. This link is crucial in view of a generalization
of our findings to the real (multidimensional functional) case where only the
differential equation is known.Comment: 17 pages, 7 figure

The solid-state structure of 2 suggests the presence of pseudo-agostic ortho C-H center dot center dot center dot Th interactions, which arise from sigma(C-H) -> Th(5f) donation. The non-octahedral structure is also favoured in solution at low temperatures.DFG, EXC 314, Unifying Concepts in Catalysi

A mutiny criminal act is related to a state security. A munity threats legal interest and the safety of Unitary State of the Republic if Indonesia as stipulated in Chapter I book II of Penal Code which consist of three form, namely the mutiny which attacks the legal interests for the safety of Head of State or his/her Vice (Article 104 Penal Code), the unity of State regions (Article 106 Penal code), and the enforcement of State Government (Article 107 Penal Code. The formulations of problem in the research are whether the act done by the Liberating Papua Organization (LPO) is classified as mutiny, how the legal responsibilities towards the mutiny criminal act done by the LPO in the District Of Jayawijaya are, how the implementation of penal code on the mutiny criminal act done by the LPO in District of Jayawijaya based on the verdict No.38/Pid.B/2011/PN.Wmn is. The research result showed the act done by the LPO was a mutiny stipulated in the article 106 Penal code an hasfullfilled the elements whose goal was to conquer the region of state fully or partly under the foreign government with the intetion to separate some parts of the state region. The existence of conscious cooperation. Consequently, all defendants subjected tho the same crimes. Implementation of penal code towards the mutiny criminal act done the LPO in the verdict No.38/Pid.B/2011.PN.Wmn that the judge has implemented the Article 106 Penal Code Jo Article 55 clause (1) in the 1st , namely by sentencing 8 years in prison to every member of LPO
