    A Comparative Study for Some Atherogenic Indices in Sera of Myocardial infarction, Ischemic Heart Disease Patients and Control

    Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the first world's leading causes of death. One of the major risk factor for the development of CVD is dyslipidemia, which involve elevated plasma levels of (TG), (TCh),   (LDL-C), (VLDL-C) and a low level of (HDL-C). Generally, the hyperlipidemias are at risk of Ischemic heart disease (IHD) and peripheral vascular disease. The strong association between the risk of Cardiovascular Artery Diseases (CAD), high levels of LDL-C and low levels of HDL-C has been well established. However enormous contributions of TG to CVD have been underestimated. Indeed high levels of TG have been associated with an increased incidence of CAD and an increased population of small dense LDL-C particles. The ratio of TG to HDL-C was proved as strong predictor of Myocardial Infarction (MI).Cardio Risk Ratio (CRR) and Atherogenic Coefficient (AC) have a good predictive value for future cardiovascular events. Atherogenic Index of Plasma (AIP), which indicated that plasma atherogenecity, was also a significant independent predicator of CAD. This study was primarily to evaluate the serum lipid profile and to estimate the atherogenic indices (CRR, AC and AIP). Results showed no significant changes in TCh, TG, and HDL-C levels in MI and HID, while LDL-C showed significant increases in MI and IHD, VLDL-C showed highly significant decreases in MI and IHD, compared to control The atherogenic indices showed significant and no significant increases in MI and IHD respectively, compared to control. The risk factor according to AIP for MI is more in developing CVD than IHD. Keywords: CVD, MI, IHD, AIP

    Aqueous Extract of Grape Leaves Effects on Liver Enzymes and Some Kidney Function Parameters in Hyperthyroidism Female Animals

    Vitis vinifera L. is kind of grape grown widely in Asia, Europe and America.It has many nutritional and pharmacological uses in the Indian traditional medicine, also by European folk healers and many other nations, for treatment of many medical conditions such as nausea , thirst , cough , constipation , smallpox , cholera, hemorrhoids and some of skin and eye diseases.In the present study, Vitis vinifera L. leaves was collected from shrub, grown in IRAQ. The aqueous leaves extract used, was prepared and evaluated for kidney functions (urea, creatinine ,uric acid) and liver enzymes  activity (AST,ALT) in induced hyperthyroidism female rabbits. Results showed significant decrease ( p<0.05) in levels and activities of the studied parameters .Our conclusion this herb may inhibits enzymes activity, that was activated by Levothyroxine  sodium.     هذا العمل يعتمد مرحلتين, المرحلة الاولى  يستخدم خوارزمية  "التجميع"  والتي تستخدم لتحديد العلاقات بين عناصر البيانات لكي يبنى النظام, بحيث كل نقطه في البيانات تجمع مع نقاط اخرى ذات نفس المواصفات لكي تكوﱠن مجاميع. هذه المجاميع (العناقيد) سوف تستخدم في المرحلة الثانية من العمل لبناء مجموعة من القواعد المضببة والتي يصطلح عليها  (IF…THEN rules). والتي ستحدد مسار عمل النظام. عدد القواعد ومتغيرات الادخال والاخراج لديها تعتمد على المجاميع (العناقيد) المتولدة في المرحلة الاولى  بينما يستخدم نظام الاستدلال المسمى(King TSK-Sugeno). طﹹبق العمل لتشخيص مرض القلب.This work depends on two stages. First one, "subtractive method", clustering algorithm, used for identifying the relationships between data points in order to build system, where the data point gathers with other points to make cluster of the same features. These groups will be used in the second part of the work to construct fuzzy IF…THEN rules, which controls how the system works. The number of rules and its parts depend on these clusters. While the Takagi-Sugeno Kang (TSK) fuzzy inference modal was used. The scope of this work is applied to heart disease diagnosis

    PSS/E based placement wind/PV hybrid system to improve stability of Iraqi grid

    Proper employment of Hybrid Wind/ PV system is often implemented near the load, and it is linked with the grid to study dynamic stability analysis. Generally, instability is because of sudden load demand variant and variant in renewable sources generation. As well as, weather variation creates several factors that affect the operation of the integrated hybrid system. So this paper introduces output result of a PV /wind via power electronic technique; DC chopper; that is linked to Iraqi power system to promote the facilitating achievement of Wind/ PV voltage. Moreover, PSS/E is used to study dynamic power stability for hybrid system which is attached to an effective region of Iraqi Network. The hybrid system is connected to Amara Old bus and fault bus is achieved to that bus and the stability results reflects that settling time after disturbance is not satisfactory. But, it is found that PV/wind generation system influences Iraqi grid stability to be better than that with only PV generation and the latter is better than stability of the grid that is enhanced with only wind generation. These results represent an important guideline for Iraqi power system planner

    Face Recognition Using Fuzzy Moments Discriminant Analysis

    In this work, an enhanced feature extraction method for holistic face recognition approach of gray intensity still image, namely Fuzzy Moment Discriminant Analysis is used. Which is first, based on Pseudo-Zernike Moments to extract dominant and significant features for each image of enrolled person, then the dimensionality of the moments features vectors is further reduced into discriminant moment features vectors using Linear Discriminant Analysis method, for these vectors the membership degrees in each class have been computed using Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor, after that, the membership degrees have been incorporated into the redefinition of the between-classes and within-classes scatter matrices to obtain final features vectors of  known persons. The test image is then compared with the faces enrollment images so that the face which has the minimum Euclidean distance with the test image is labeled with the identity of that image.     Best strategy to control data on internet-of-robotic-things in heterogeneous networks

    The control and transmission of huge data constitute an immense challenge in various types of networks (wired and wireless). Congestion caused by the high traffic and low throughput of huge data continues to be major problems in a heterogeneous platforms such as internet of things (IoT) technology and internet-of-robotic-things (IoRT). The heterogeneous network requires new models and mechanisms to deal with the increased challenges posed by IoT and IoRT. Accordingly, eliminating the issues that emerge has compelled finding improved solutions as a new strategy. This study proposed a new strategy called routing information and distance vector (RIDV) to create the best improvement of a heterogeneous network. The RIDV strategy activates the routing information protocol (RIPv2) on a router in wire network parallel with the ad-hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) protocol on the wireless network. The RIDV strategy is used to solve the problems of the diversity of heterogeneous networks as the basis of the infrastructure IoRT technology. Hence, this strategy can reduce or avoid congestion through the use of enhanced and effective best routing protocols. Simulation results using OPNET show that the proposed method improved the quality of service (QoS) compared with other related strategies and AODV and RIPv1 protocols in terms of data drop, traffic drop, queue delay, and throughput

    In this paper, the properties of the fundamental splines of high orders are numerically studied. From the point of view of the interpolation problem, the fundamental spline is a nodal function generated by a family of integer translations of the corresponding basic spline. We have established that with increasing order fundamental splines tend to the sampling function . Analogous assertions were obtained earlier for nodal functions on the basis of other systems of shifts. The behavior of the coefficients of basic splines is studied.
