The Simulation of the Trend of the Time Series in the form of the Spline of Third-Order With a Random Number of Data at the Moments of Measurement

    Get PDF
The possibility of simulation of trend of a time series as a spline of third-order with a random number of data at the moments of measurement is discussed. Estimations of coefficients of the spline are obtained in the explicit form. The statistical characteristics of the received estimations are studied in details

Valuation of the motor activity and motivation of high school students for physical education

The article analyzes the motor activity of high school students in the city Yekaterinburg and their motivation for physical education at school. The daily motor activity of high school students who took part in the study is insufficient relative to the accepted age norms (both in terms of the number of locomotion and time). The survey showed a neutral attitude of pupils to physical education lessons (physical education classes do not affect their general condition and performance and the main goal is only to obtain grades). Preventive measures have been developed and aimed at increasing the motor activity of modern pupils and preventing deviations in their health.

Influence of the aftereffect of mineral fertilizers on the productivity of a long-term phytocenosis in the conditions of the Privilyui agrolandscape of the middle taiga subzone of Yakutia

The article provides the research of 2011-2019 on studying the long-term influence of the aftereffect of 36-year application of mineral fertilizers on the productivity and nutritional value of long-term meadow phytocenoses. In a stationary experiment with a radical improvement of meadows, the following variants for applying mineral fertilizers were studied from 1974 to 2010: the minimum level was N62P60K11 (control), the average level was N202P175K43, and the maximum level was N318P362K189. In the conditions of the Privilyui agrolandscape of the middle taiga subzone of Yakutia, a long-term aftereffect of fertilizers (from 2011 to 2019) contributed to the preservation of the main dominant in the grass stand - couch grass (Elymus repens (L.) Nevski) up to 27.4-42.1 % and codominant – short-awned barley (Hordeum brevisubulatum (Trin) Link.) up to 14.7-24.3 %. During the aftereffect of fertilizers, the yield of cereal-forb phytocenosis averaged 1.71-2.03 t/ha of hay, which is 2.1-2.5 times higher than the yield of natural meadows. At the same time, hay forage contained up to 8.9-9.1 MJ of exchange energy, up to 0.62-0.65 feed units, and up to 80-90 g of digestible protein, which corresponds to the zootechnical norm

Goal of the study: to define the design of primers and probes specific to DNA of non-tuberculous mycobacteria and evaluate their diagnostic value in case of simultaneous detection of non-tuberculous mycobacteria and M. tuberculosis complex by real time PCR.Materials and methods. Primer 3, Primer BLAST, Ugene Uni Pro were used to design primers and probes. Preliminary assessment of specificity and sensitivity of detection of non-tuberculous mycobacteria DNA was performed on cultures belonging to 18 types of non-tuberculous mycobacteria, 16 strains of M. tuberculosis complex and 14 types of microorganisms being none Mycobacterum. Analytic sensitivity was tested on 284 cultures of non-tuberculous mycobacteria and diagnostic sensitivity was tested on 124 sputum samples. The kit ofM-Sorb-Tub-Avtomat (ZAO Sintol) was used for DNA isolation. Cultures were subcultured on the liquid medium of Middlebrook 7H9 in Bactec MGIT 960. Cultures were identified with the use of standard microbiological techniques. Analysis of DNA isolated from cultures was performed by the reagent kit of GenoTypeCM/AS (Hain Lifescience, Germany).Results. 100% specificity and sensitivity of PCR was demonstrated in mycobacterial cultures and 100% specificity and 69-70% sensitivity was demonstrated in diagnostic material analysis

Experience with olaparib in a patient with luminal HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer

Hereditary breast cancer (BC) accounts for about 5-10% of cases. BRCA-associated tumors have been identified as a separate group of malignant neoplasms with distinctive clinical manifestations and specific treatment features. Understanding of biological mechanisms leading to cancer in BRCA1/2 mutation carriers and discovery of potential molecular targets, such as poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), involved in base excision repair mechanisms, led to the development of a new class of targeted drugs belonging to the PARP inhibitors group. PARP inhibition leads to the preservation of single-stranded DNA breaks, the arrest of the replication fork, and the realization of the “synthetic lethality” phenomenon due to the inability to repair double-stranded DNA breaks by homologous recombination in cells with mutations in the BRCA1/2 genes. Two randomized trials OlympiAD and EMBRACA evaluated and proved the effectiveness of PARP inhibitors in patients with metastatic BRCA-mutated HER2-negative breast cancer in comparison with standard chemotherapy. At the same time, data on the potential use of PARP inhibitors for the treatment of BRCA-mutated HER2-positive breast cancer patients are extremely limited. This article presents a clinical example of the use of olaparib in a patient with BRCA-mutated HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer

The choice of of ef ficient treatment of uterine sarcomas is challenge, due to the high malignancy and aggressiveness of the tumor, on the one hand, and the lack of a suf ficient amount for the treatment of uterine sarcomas studies on the other. The authors have shown to be promising, and the importance of choosing an adequate level of surgicaltreatment and the selectivity in the choice of additional methods of complex treatment. The ar ticle presents the results of treatment of sarcomas of the uterine body cancer (gynecologic) Department of Regional Oncology Center.

Ion implantation in nanodiamonds: Size effect and energy dependence

    Get PDF
Nanoparticles are ubiquitous in nature and are increasingly important for technology. They are subject to bombardment by ionizing radiation in a diverse range of environments. In particular, nanodiamonds represent a variety of nanoparticles of significant fundamental and applied interest. Here we present a combined experimental and computational study of the behaviour of nanodiamonds under irradiation by xenon ions. Unexpectedly, we observed a pronounced size effect on the radiation resistance of the nanodiamonds: particles larger than 8 nm behave similarly to macroscopic diamond (i.e. characterized by high radiation resistance) whereas smaller particles can be completely destroyed by a single impact from an ion in a defined energy range. This latter observation is explained by extreme heating of the nanodiamonds by the penetrating ion. The obtained results are not limited to nanodiamonds, making them of interest for several fields, putting constraints on processes for the controlled modification of nanodiamonds, on the survival of dust in astrophysical environments, and on the behaviour of actinides released from nuclear waste into the environment
