    A hospital has an installation services including outpatient, inpatient, ER and laboratories. In making the case in the ER department schedules, lack of attention to equity aspects schedule guard duty nurse. Nurse scheduling is one of the problems in health care organizations that are hard to solve. The number of patients who are not controlled, the seriousness of the patient's disease, absence and private demand for the holiday, including making a schedule for each nurse into working hours (shifts) different in the short term. Seeing those conditions, it is done using the ER nurse scheduling algorithm method Tibrewala, Phillipe and Brown (TPB). This method can produce a schedule to minimize the amount of labor. In this research is also developing software for web-based application scheduling algorithm based on TPB.Making an application based on Data Flow Diagrams (DFD) is simple, consisting of one admin as manager application. Scheduling resulting from the processing of nurses to determine the needs, the number of nurses and the number of shift each nurse. The structure of application is made simple program consisting of, the need for nurses, shift work and the needs of the iteration process to generate schedules. Scheduling algorithms using the TPB can result in the division of labor and the amount of work shift power evenly to each nurse. This application help the process of scheduling the event of changes relating to the scheduling so that the scheduling process can be done at any time by efficiently and effectively

    An analysis on the students error in writing recount text. The purpose of the study is to know the errors in writing recount text of the tenth Grade Student of SMAN I Siantan in Academic Year 2012/2013. The method used in this research is a Descriptive where the researcher explained the result of research by describing the data gained. The techniques used for collecting data are measurement technique and direct observation technique. The tool of collecting data are written test. Based on the finding in this research, there are 275 errors made by the students in writing recount text. The error are 95 or 34.54% errors at writing content of the text, 21 or 7.63% errors at vocabulary, 123 or 44.74% errors grammar and 36 or 13.9% errors at mechanics

    Adsorpsi Zat Warna Tekstil Reactive Red 141 Pada Tanah Liat Lokal Alami

    Dalam studi ini dipelajari kemampuan adsorpsi tanah liat lokal alami untuk menyisihkan warna pada larutan mengandung zat warna tekstil Reactive Red 141 (RR 141). Tanah liat lokal alami yang diteliti sebagai alternatif adsorben yang murah dalam studi ini berasal dari daerah Arcamanik, Citatah dan Dago (Bandung, Indonesia). Aspek yang dipelajari meliputi pengaruh dosis adsorben, waktu kontak dan konsentrasi awal larutan zat warna. Mekanisme proses adsorpsi dievaluasi menggunakan model isoterm, kinetika dan parameter termodinamika. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan efisiensi penyisihan warna dan penurunan kapasitas adsorpsi tanah liat terjadi pada dosis adsorben lebih tinggi dan konsentrasi awal zat warna lebih rendah. Dosis adsorben optimum untuk tanah liat Arcamanik, Dago dan Citatah dicapai pada dosis masing-masing sebesar 10 g/L; 10 g/L; dan 8 g/L, dengan penyisihan zat warna berturut-turut sebesar 65,9%; 65,9%; dan 76,6%. Waktu kesetimbangan adsorpsi RR 141 pada tanah liat Arcamanik dan Citatah dicapai pada 60 menit sedangkan pada tanah liat Dago tercapai pada 120 menit. Kinetika adsorpsi RR 141 pada seluruh tanah liat lokal yang diteliti sesuai dengan model pseudo second order. Data kesetimbangan adsorpsi RR 141 pada tanah liat Arcamanik paling baik digambarkan oleh model isoterm Freundlich sedangkan untuk tanah liat Citatah dan Dago paling baik digambarkan oleh model isoterm Langmuir. Nilai Perubahan energi bebas pada tanah liat Arcamanik, Citatah dan Dago masing-masing sebesar -4,794; -7,048 dan -4,234 kJ/mol

    Empirical Investigation of the Underpricing Phenomenon on Ipos in Privatization of Soes: Evidence From Indonesia

    The Objective this empirical research is conducted with the main purpose to assess whether the short-run underpricing level of IPOs on privatization is lower or not compared to the privately owned enterprises in Indonesia. The aim is intended to identify whether the presence of excessive underpricing is occurred among the Privatization IPOs in Indonesia. Method are used to fullfil the objective, the samples are derived from both SOEs and Non-SOEs that conducted the Initial Public Offerings (IPO) during period 2000-2009. The total final samples used are 147 samples. Moreover, this research focuses on the initial return of the first trading day to determine the underpricing level. The data is also analyzed by using descriptive statistics, Kolmogorov Smirnov test, parametric tests, Non-parametric tests and Multiple Regression Analysis. Result of the research shows the evidence that the extent of underpricing is significantly lower in IPOs conducted by the SOEs compared to the privately owned in Indonesia. Furthermore, the result also clarifies that there is no occurrence of excessive underpricing within the Privatization IPOs in Indonesia.Conclusion is the degree of underpricing within the SOEs is proven to be lower than the Non-SOEs. This fact is supported by the reasons of tight standardize legislation, underwriter\u27s reputation, budget deficit in Indonesia, and well-established industry within the SOEs

Untuk mendorong pertumbuhan kewirausahaan, dan tentunya mengurangi pengangguran terbuka pendidikan Diploma,Sarjana dan Pascasarjana, pihak perguruan tinggi bertanggung jawab dalam mendidik dan memberikan kemampuan berwirausaha serta memberikan motivasi kepada lulusannya agar memilih berwirausaha sebagai karirnya dan memiliki intensi untuk memulai USAha serta memiliki kesiapan dalam hal pengetahuan kewirausahaan. Salah satunya yaitu dengan menambahkan pembelajaran (entrepreneurship) sabagai mata kuliah wajib di setiap programstudi bagi mahasiswa yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan pengetahuan bahwa berwirausaha harus memiliki prinsip serta kepercayaan diri yang kuat. Perguruan tinggi berbasis teknologi komputer, pengetahuan tentang enterpreneurship bertujuan untuk menghasilkan lulusan berjiwa wirausaha di bidang informatika yang mampu bersaing secara global, juga mendorong intensi berwirausaha berbasis teknologi (technopreneurship).     Controlling Exchange Pathways in Dynamic Supramolecular Polymers by Controlling Defects

    Supramolecular fibers composed of monomers that self-assemble directionally via noncovalent interactions are ubiquitous in nature, and of great interest in chemistry. In these structures, the constitutive monomers continuously exchange in-and-out the assembly according to a well-defined supramolecular equilibrium. However, unraveling the exchange pathways and their molecular determinants constitutes a nontrivial challenge. Here, we combine coarse-grained modeling, enhanced sampling, and machine learning to investigate the key factors controlling the monomer exchange pathways in synthetic supramolecular polymers having an intrinsic dynamic behavior. We demonstrate how the competition of directional vs. nondirectional interactions between the monomers controls the creation/annihilation of defects in the supramolecular polymers, from where monomers exchange proceeds. This competition determines the exchange pathway, dictating whether a fiber statistically swaps monomers from the tips or from all along its length. Finally, thanks to their generality, our models allow the investigation of molecular approaches to control the exchange pathways in these dynamic assemblies

    Pandemi Covid-19 di Indonesia menyebabkan dikeluarkannya kebijakan yang berpengaruh pada aktivitas kehidupan masyarakat. Salah satunya yaitu himbauan agar masyarakat tetap tinggal dan melakukan aktivitas dari rumah. Keterbatasan selama pandemic, menyebabkan masyarakat berpikir untuk keluar dari masalah terutama dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan pangan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan tridharma perguruan tinggi diinisiasi berupa program pengabdian masyarakat dengan tema urban farming bertujuan untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut. Urban farming atau berkebun di rumah menjadi populer di tengah pandemi Covid-19 sehingga berdampak pada meningkatnya permintaan terhadap tanaman hias dan sayuran. Pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah yang masih tersisa atau area rooftop, merupakan solusi berkebun di lahan yang terbatas. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Cihideung Ilir, Kecamatan Ciampea, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat dengan peserta yaitu ibu-ibu kader penggerak Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga (PKK). Tahapan pelaksanaan meliputi penjajakan potensi desa, koordinasi dengan perangkat desa, pelaksanaan praktik dan evaluasi kegiatan. Metode pelaksanaan melalui 1) pendidikan masyarakat, yaitu penyampaian materi yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman serta kesadaran pada kader sebagai agen of change akan pentingnya urban farming dan pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan dalam rangka mewujudkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga. 2) Pelatihan dan praktik demonstrasi, untuk menghasilkan keterampilan bercocok tanam. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi program ini dapat dikatakan berhasil melihat antusiasme dari para peserta pada setiap materi yang disampaikan sangat dibutuhkan oleh masyarakat.   &nbsp

    The mortality associated with erythema nodosum leprosum in Ethiopia: a retrospective hospital-based study.

    BACKGROUND: Erythema nodosum leprosum (ENL) is a debilitating multisystem disorder which complicates leprosy. It is characterised by fever, malaise and painful erythematous cutaneous nodules. ENL is often recurrent or chronic in nature and frequently severe. Patients often require prolonged treatment with high doses of oral corticosteroids. There are no data on the mortality associated with treated ENL. METHODOLOGY: The notes of patients who were admitted, discharged, transferred to another facility or died with a diagnosis of leprosy or a leprosy-related complication for a five year period were reviewed. RESULT/DISCUSSION: 414 individuals were identified from the ward database. 312 (75.4%) patient records were located and reviewed. Ninety-nine individuals had ENL and 145 had a Type 1 reaction. The median age of individuals with ENLwas 25 years. Eight patients with erythema nodosum leprosum died compared with two diagnosed with Type 1 reaction. This difference is statistically significant (p = 0.0168, Fisher's Exact Test). There is a significant mortality and morbidity associated with ENL in this Ethiopian cohort. The adverse outcomes seen are largely attributable to the chronic administration of oral corticosteroids used to control the inflammatory and debilitating symptoms of the condition

    Primary Cardiac Angiosarcoma: A Fatal Disease

    A 42-year-old man with a cardiac tamponade underwent an urgent pericardiotomy that showed tumoral tissue, covering the surface of the right atrium. The tumor was then partially excised, and the histological examination revealed the presence of a moderately-differentiated angiosarcoma. The patient was then referred to the oncology unit and scheduled for a chemotherapy schedule including Epirubicin (60 mg/m2, on days 1 and 2) plus Ifosfamide (2000 mg/m2, on days 1 to 3) and Uromitexan (2000 mg/m2 at hours 0, 4, 8 after IFO). All drugs were administered every three weeks. After two cycles, a restaging work-up revealed a partial remission. The treatment was continued for another two cycles. A new evaluation by cardiac MRI evidenced a local and distant (lung) progression of disease. The patient died after three months. This paper confirms that cardiac angiosarcoma is a fatal disease, and the prognosis is usually 6–11 months from time of diagnosis
