Invariance in adelic quantum mechanics
Adelic quantum mechanics is form invariant under an interchange of real and
p-adic number fields as well as rings of p-adic integers. We also show that in
adelic quantum mechanics Feynman's path integrals for quadratic actions with
rational coefficients are invariant under changes of their entries within
nonzero rational numbers.Comment: 6 page
Reality in Noncommutative Gravity
We study the problem of reality in the geometric formalism of the 4D
noncommutative gravity using the known deformation of the diffeomorphism group
induced by the twist operator with the constant deformation parameters
\vt^{mn}. It is shown that real covariant derivatives can be constructed via
-anticommutators of the real connection with the corresponding fields.
The minimal noncommutative generalization of the real Riemann tensor contains
only \vt^{mn}-corrections of the even degrees in comparison with the
undeformed tensor. The gauge field describes a gravitational field on
the flat background. All geometric objects are constructed as the perturbation
series using -polynomial decomposition in terms of . We consider
the nonminimal tensor and scalar functions of of the odd degrees in
\vt^{mn} and remark that these pure noncommutative objects can be used in the
noncommutative gravity.Comment: Latex file, 14 pages, corrected version to be publised in CQ
p-Adic and Adelic Harmonic Oscillator with Time-Dependent Frequency
The classical and quantum formalism for a p-adic and adelic harmonic
oscillator with time-dependent frequency is developed, and general formulae for
main theoretical quantities are obtained. In particular, the p-adic propagator
is calculated, and the existence of a simple vacuum state as well as adelic
quantum dynamics is shown. Space discreteness and p-adic quantum-mechanical
phase are noted.Comment: 10 page
p-Adic and Adelic Free Relativistic Particle
We consider spectral problem for a free relativistic particle in p-adic and
adelic quantum mechanics. In particular, we found p-adic and adelic
eigenfunctions. Within adelic approach there exist quantum states that exhibit
discrete structure of spacetime at the Planck scale.Comment: 9 page
Applying multi-criteria analysis for preliminary assessment of the properties of alginate immobilized Myriophyllum spicatum in lake water samples
The preliminary assessment of the properties of alginate immobilized aquatic weed Myriophyllum spicatum beads-MsAlg in a multi-element system of nine Serbian lakes water samples was done. Herein, the results obtained in the biosorption experiment with MsAlg contents of twenty-two elements analysed by inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry, biosorption capacity, element removal efficiency, total hardness (TH) and quality index of water (WQI) are presented. Scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy was used for the characterization of M. spicatum and its beads. The study showed that aluminium, magnesium and strontium were adsorbed by MsAlg in the water samples from all examined lakes; barium and iron in the water samples from six lakes. The overall average efficiency of MsAlg in biosorption of elements was in the following order: Al > Ba > Sr > Fe > Mg (58.6, 51.7, 48.2, 23.9 and 17.7%, respectively). The increase of TH and WQI values after the biosorption was noticed in all studied lake water samples. The most significant correlations for pH were regarding the contents of B, Mg and Ca, whereas WQI was highly correlated to the contents of B and Mg, and pH. The complexity of the obtained data was explained by Cluster Analysis and Principal Component Analysis, which showed good discrimination capabilities between the water samples taken from different locations. Considering that the invasive M. spicatum is natural, widespread and that its immobilization is cheap and eco-friendly, presented findings could be helpful in further assessment of MsAlg beads for its potential use as biofilter
On p-Adic Sector of Adelic String
We consider construction of Lagrangians which are candidates for p-adic
sector of an adelic open scalar string. Such Lagrangians have their origin in
Lagrangian for a single p-adic string and contain the Riemann zeta function
with the d'Alembertian in its argument. In particular, we present a new
Lagrangian obtained by an additive approach which takes into account all p-adic
Lagrangians. The very attractive feature of this new Lagrangian is that it is
an analytic function of the d'Alembertian. Investigation of the field theory
with Riemann zeta function is interesting in itself as well.Comment: 10 pages. Presented at the 2nd Conf. on SFT and Related Topics,

The influence of temperature on mechanical properties of the base material (BM) and welded joint (WJ) made of steel S690QL
This paper presents the analysis of the influence of temperature on mechanic properties of the base material and welded joints made of high strength steel. The joints were welded on S690QL high strength steel plates using the Metal Active Gas (MAG) Welding and two filler materials of different properties. Since the steel S690QL belongs to a group of steels with high strength, the aim of this paper is to determine the temperature at which strength starts to decrease. Experimental tensile testings of the welded joints were performed at five different temperatures in the range from 20 to 550 °C

Toxicological analysis of the risk of lead exposure in metal processing
Purpose: To evaluate toxicological risks for workers who are exposed to lead in their work environment. Methods: Since it is an important indicator of toxicological risk, a statistical analysis of lead concentration and biological lead toxicity markers in blood and urine were performed for both exposed and control groups. Both experimental groups consisted of employees from "NISSAL" JSC factory. Analytical epidemiological method in the form of a retrospective cohort study was applied, and covered the period from 2001 to 2010. The concentration of lead, δ-aminolevulinic acid, and coproporphyrin in biological samples were determined by spectrophotometric methods. Results: The results showed a high positive correlation between lead concentrations in blood and urine and the length of exposure of the participants (p < 0.01). Also, increase of lead concentration in the biological material significantly increased δ-aminolevulinic acid (p < 0.01) and slightly increased the concentration of coproporphyrin, both of which are important indicators of toxicological risk. Conclusion: The control group of employees belonged to the normal risk category, while the exposed group belonged to a moderate risk category. Correlation between the monitored parameters is statistically significant at p < 0.01 and p < 0.05. Keywords: Lead, δ-Aminolevulinic acid, Coproporphyrin, Chronic exposure, Toxicity, Correlatio
