The implementation of local autonomy regime gives an interesting socio-political explanation of how is the local genuine governance system, the so-called nagari, to operate in West Sumatera. Based on Law No. 22/1999 as amended by Law No. 32/2004, the Regional Government of West Sumatera introduced Regional Law No. 9/2000 as legal foundation to regulate the implementation of nagari in the region. The study, was conducted in Nagari IV Koto Palembayan, District of Agam, Province of West Sumatera. It was intended to 1) describe and analyze the implication of structural change from nagari to desa and its return to nagari system, 2) analyze potential conflicts that occur in the transformation from desa to nagari. The study used qualitative approach, in which data and information were mostly collected by in-depth interviews supported by observation, study of literature and documents. It was found that 1) such intervention brought about widely social change at local level, 2) the transformation from desa to nagari stimulated some potential conflicts at local level. It is realized that it is uneasy for the government to synergize modern and traditional institution of governance in a single system. In case, the control of such a complicated system is very poor, then the implementation of nagari system is substantially hindered

Gender equality is a study that has long been of concern to the Government of Indonesia. Of the Legislature, there has introduced a quota system as a form of affirmative action for women to be able to occupy the parliament. But on the bureaucracy there is still no consistent effort from the government to help the female civil servants to occupy strategic positions in the bureaucracy. In this study, researchers focused the research in a district result of the expansion that is Lamandau District. This study is focused to see the opportunities of women civil servants in to occupy the structural positions in the Lamandau District and to know what supporting and inhibiting factors.Issues to be discussed here is the opportunity of women civil servants in filling structural possition in Lamandau District Government, Central Borneo. From the background mentioned earlier, the researcher wants to conduct research in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the issue, so that the research methods that will be used by researchers is a qualitative research method with descriptive type. From the results of research in the field, all informants agreed that the opportunities and access to filling the structural possition between men and women civil servants is the same. The imbalance amount of Structural Official based on gender because there is not many women civil servants fulfilling List Sort Ranks (DUK) condition. Supporting factors for structural occupation for a women civil servants is the notion that women are more conscientious, diligent, and tenacious. While the factors that are inhibiting more to reproductive factors, lack of support from family, and the technical factor such as access to Leadership Training places away and the duration of training. That needs to be addressed here is the consistency of government to regulate career civil servants coaching pattern because there isn't detailed pattern to manage civil servants' career. Promotion needs to be done such as the possition auction to ensure the continuity of career civil servants. In addition, should be instilled in every women civil servant is the awareness and willingness of women to be able to achieve the highest career in order to produce a gender prespective decisions

The objectives of present study were to formulate development strategies for dairy goat\u27 farms that capable of supporting goat\u27s milk agribusiness. Three medium scale dairy goat farms located in Bogor Regency which has population of more than 100 heads and has established more than 10 years were purposively selected for the study. Data were collected during February to May 2014. The design of this study was based on descriptive qualitative approach (rapid appraisal approach). Data were analized using internal factors evaluation (IFE) and external factors evaluation (EFE), strategic position and action evaluation (SPACE) matrix, and grand strategy matrix. It was revealed that dairy goat farms in Bogor Regency were located in quadrant I in SPACE matrix, which was on the aggressive strategy. Dairy goat farms have many resource advantages, despite facing various threats. The Grand Strategy Matrix analysis showed that dairy goat farms were in quadrant I. Dairy goat farms were in an excellent position to take advantage of the opportunities, overcome internal weaknesses and avoiding multiple external threats. The best strategies to be selected for dairy goat farms were market penetration and product development

Face is the part of the body that is uncovered topographically and easy to get trauma as the result. The high incidence of traffic accident in developing countries is equal to the increasing of facial bone fracture incidence rate. Anatomy shape and the opened-position of mandibular lead to be easy to get trauma compared to other facial bones. This research was aimed to know the incidence rate of mandibular fracture based on anatomical location in Riau Province General Hospital during January 2011-December 2013 that consists of distribution of mandibular fracture in age, sex, total of fracture line, and trauma variant. The research was an observational study using descriptive retrospective design. This study used total sampling method. Samples of this study were all data of mandibular fracture patient that fulfilled inclusion criteria. The total samples were 206 cases. This study shows that the age group of 18-40 years old (59%) and male (80.1%) in sex group were the most commonly patient with mandibular fracture. Single trauma was the highest trauma that happened with 57.3% in percentage. The highest fracture line was single fracture (68.6%) with symphysis parasymphysis region (26.7%). Symphysis parasymphysis mandibular fracture was found in age group of 18-40 years old (53.12%), male in sex group (75%), single fracture line (63.38), and single trauma in trauma variant (57.81%.)

The present study was designed to evaluate factors affecting goat’s milk quality, consumer’s satisfaction to goat’s milk, and technical responses associated with goat’s milk quality. Three farms having more than 100 dairy goats were purposively selected for the study. Thirty consumers were determined by using judgement sampling techniques to assess the satisfaction of consumer to goat’s milk quality. Data were analyzed by using fishbone diagram and House of Quality matrix. The study revealed that milk quality produced by dairy goat farms met the standard quality of milk composition namely; specific gravity, total solid, fat, protein, and total solid non-fat. The main factors affecting goat milk quantity and quality were the quality of does, pregnancy status, number of kids per birth, shape and size of the udder, lactation length, and the health status of the goat. The attributes of goat’s milk that were able to achieve customer’s satisfaction targets were nutritional content, packaging size, and goat milk color. Technical responses that were major concern in ensuring goat’s milk quality included goat breed quality and health conditions, skills and performances of farmers and employees, feed quality, farm equipment hygiene and completeness, cleanliness, and hygiene of livestock housing and environment. Technical response on livestock health condition was the first priority to be improved.Key words:  goat milk, consumer’s satisfactio

Zinc sulfide is a material that has many uses in various fields. Zinc sulfide is deriving from the mineral sphalerite. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the feasibility of producing zinc sulfide from zinc acetate and sodium sulfide using the precipitation-assisted ultrasonic radiation method. This method is the most efficient method for the synthesis of zinc sulfide nanoparticles, because it does not take much time and the resulting product is high. The evaluation was done from the engineering and economic perspectives. The feasibility analysis method from the engineering perspective was done by designing the initial production design on a large scale, whereas the analysis from an economic perspective was done by calculating various economic parameters, that is Gross Profit Margin, Cumulative Net Present Value, Internal Rate Return, Payback Period, Break Event Point, and Profitability Index. The engineering perspective showed that the production of zinc sulfide nanoparticles can be done on a large scale due to the commercial availability of materials and tools. Based on the economic evaluation, the production of zinc sulfide nanoparticles by precipitation-assisted ultrasonic method is ideal for an industrial scale. Earned increased profits over 20 years, the payback on investment costs lasted only two years. We hope that this study can provide references to readers, industry, and researchers regarding the feasibility analysis of the production of zinc sulfide nanoparticles using the precipitation-assisted ultrasonic radiation method
