Nin level in fermentation medium (0, 0.1, 0.2, or 0.3 mg/ml), and many kinds of feed (king grass, rice bran, and king grass:rice bran, 60:40 w/w) on protozoa numbers, ammonia concentration, microbialprotein, pH and cellullase activity. Each treatment was consisted of three replicates. Fermentation wasdone in syringe and used in vitro gas production medium. The data obtained were analyzed by varianceanalysis using factorial design (4x3). The differences between mean values were analyzed by Duncan\u27snew multiple range test (DMRT). The result showed that protozoa numbers decreased 17.22, 42.73 and49.57% (P<0.01) for 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 mg/ml saponin, respectively from 8.19×103/ml in the control. Theaddition of 0.1 mg/l saponin increased ammonia concentration from 33.04 mg/100 ml (without saponin)to 37.12 mg/100 ml (P<0,01), whereas the addition of 0.2 and 0.3 mg/ml saponin decreased ammoniaconcentrations by 1.69 and 16.50% (P<0.01) compared to the control. Microbial protein, cellullaseactivity and pH were not affected neither by saponin nor kind of feed. Protozoal numbers and ammoniaconcentration in the rumen were lower (P<0.01) with king grass as substrat than that with rice bran, orking grass: rice bran. In general, no interactions between saponin and kind of feed were observed, exceptfor ammonia concentration. It can be concluded that level of 0.2 mg/ml saponin have antimicrobialproperties, particularly in suppressing protozoa, which may prove beneficial to ruminal fermentation andmay lead to lower ruminal ammonia concentration, but it did not have negative effect on pH, microbialprotein and cellullase activity. King grass as a substrate decreases protozoa numbers and ammoniaconcentration

FLICK: developing and running application-specific network services

Data centre networks are increasingly programmable, with application-specific network services proliferating, from custom load-balancers to middleboxes providing caching and aggregation. Developers must currently implement these services using traditional low-level APIs, which neither support natural operations on application data nor provide efficient performance isolation. We describe FLICK, a framework for the programming and execution of application-specific network services on multi-core CPUs. Developers write network services in the FLICK language, which offers high-level processing constructs and application-relevant data types. FLICK programs are translated automatically to efficient, parallel task graphs, implemented in C++ on top of a user-space TCP stack. Task graphs have bounded resource usage at runtime, which means that the graphs of multiple services can execute concurrently without interference using cooperative scheduling. We evaluate FLICK with several services (an HTTP load-balancer, a Memcached router and a Hadoop data aggregator), showing that it achieves good performance while reducing development effort

Issues raised in this research is to improve student learning outcomes math class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. The low learning outcomes of students because teachers still use the lecture method so that the lack of attention of students during the lessons and student think math is a difficult subject and tedious because it deals with formulas so that students feel bored. Quantum model of teaching can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. Subjects in this study were students of class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru academic year 2014/2015 the number of students 38 people consisting of 26 boys and 12 girls. This research was conducted in two cycles, the first cycle was conducted in two sessions and the second cycle was also conducted two meetings and one repeat cycle end. Data collection instruments in this study was the observation sheet student, teacher observation sheet, outcomes assessment rubric and assessment process. The study is in the form of classroom action research (PTK), which aims to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru in the subject matter of measurement. These results indicate that the application of the model of Quantum Teaching can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru. At the beginning of the data mean the base score is 68.94, the average in the first cycle increased 8,95poin be 77.89, and the mean on the second cycle increased again 16.05 points to 93.94. On the basis of students' scores classical completeness is 44.74% of students in the first cycle classical completeness students increased 15.65 points to 60.39%. In the second cycle increased 26.45 points to 86.84%. From the results of this study concluded that the application of Quantum Teaching models can improve student learning outcomes Class III SD Muhammadiyah 4 Pekanbaru

We develop some computational methods for the integrals over the 3-chains on the compact Calabi-Yau 3-folds that plays a prominent role in the analysis of the topological B-model in the context of the open mirror symmetry. We discuss such 3-chain integrals in two approaches. In the first approach, we provide a systematic algorithm to obtain the inhomogeneous Picard-Fuchs equations. In the second approach, we discuss the analytic continuation of the period integral to compute the 3-chain integral directly. The latter direct integration method is applicable for both on-shell and off-shell formalisms.Comment: 61 pages, 5 figures; v2: typos corrected, minor changes, references adde
