Treballs Finals de Grau de Belles Arts de la Facultat de Belles Arts de la Universitat de Barcelona, Any: 2014, Tutor: Lino Cabezas[cat] Espacios es un proyecto artístico que explora el concepto del paisaje a través de la técnica del dibujo, comprendiendo la relación entre un espacio concreto y su representación bidimensional. Con este trabajo pretendo concluir una etapa académica de cuatro años en los que me he centrado e interesado por el ámbito del dibujo, lenguaje que me ha proporcionado técnicamente medios para expresar ideas e intereses personales. A través de la realización de una serie de obras en suporte de papel pretendo centrarme en una idea referencial al paisaje interior, como concepto principal. Tratándose del paisaje interior, se entiende por un espacio cuotidiano para cualquier persona. En conclusión, Espacios es la proyección de una idea principal a partir de una metodología y unas herramientas técnicas propias que me ha permitido ir encontrando y desarrollando el trayecto por la Facultad de Bellas Artes.[eng] Espacios is an art project that explores the concept of landscape through drawing technique, understanding the relationship between a particular space and its two-dimensional representation. I have intend to complete a four-year academic stage with this project, that I have focused and interested in the field of drawing, technical language that has given me means to express ideas and interests. Through the construction of a series of works on paper I have intend to focus on a reference to interior landscape, as the main concept idea. In the case of interior landscape, it is meant for everyday’s space for anyone. In conclusion, Espacios is a projection of a main idea from a methodology and own technical tools that allowed me to finding and developing the University of Fine Arts

Propuesta de innovación docente para la asignatura Pensamiento árabe e islámico clásico (Grado de Estudios Árabes e Islámicos)

Este texto recoge los resultados de la aplicación del segundo ciclo de mejora docente en la asignatura de Pensamiento Árabo-islámico Islámico Clásico perteneciente al Grado de Estudios Árabes e Islámicos. El Ciclo se centra en el origen de las primeras reflexiones teológicas y, en menor medida, filosóficas, y el ulterior desarrollo de la primera en corrientes definidas. La aplicación del Ciclo de Mejora implica una revisión de contenidos y un cambio de modelo didáctico en el que el alumno construirá progresiva y activamente esos contenidos

῾Abd al-Ganī al-Nābulusī (D. 1143 H./1731 AD): The riḥla beyond the patterns of the genre

El polígrafo sufí al-Nābulusī realizó varios viajes por Oriente dejando constancia de ellos en obras que muestran una perspectiva diferente dentro de la literatura árabe de viajes. A través de la comparación de algunos lugares de Siria y Jerusalén descritos en la Riḥla de Ibn Baṭṭūṭa -y, en menor medida, de otros autores- y la de alNābulusī pondremos de relieve esas peculiaridades con el objetivo de dilucidar si puede considerarse la riḥla sufí un subgénero dentro de la literatura árabe de viajes.The sufi polygraph author al-Nābulusī made several journeys through some of the islamic Eastern countries. The accounts of his travels show a different perspective within the tradition of Arab travel literature. Through the comparison with the descriptions of some places in Syria and Jerusalem made by Ibn Baṭṭūṭa -and, to a lesser extent, other authors-, we will emphasize the contrasting quality of the features which characterize al-Nābulusī´s accounts in order to elucidate whether the sufi riḥla can be considered a subgenre of Arab travel literature

Càlcul, disseny i construcció d'una planta industrial destinada a la fabricació de caixes de canvi per a motors d'automoció

Aquest projecte final de carrera, consisteix en el càlcul, disseny i construcció d’una nau industrial destinada a la fabricació de caixes de canvi per motors d’automoció. La fàbrica està situada a Vila-Seca(Tarragona) i compartirà solar amb altres dues naus que completaran el procés productiu que es fa dins la nau que es vol dissenyar, y d’un edifici d’oficines, on es troben els directius i administratius treballant. Aquest solar, té una superfície de 62400 m2, dels cuals la nau que es projectarà ocupa únicament 8970 m2. La nau que es dissenyarà, s’encarrega d’acollir la fabricació de les carcasses de les caixes de canvi, y es centrarà al càlcul de la estructura y de les seves cimentacions, així com també a les instal/lacions contra el foc, eléctrica y d’iluminació

Oh brother!: Los Coen ante la Tradición Clásica

El presente trabajo ofrece una descripción de la relación advertible entre La Odisea y Oh brother!. Tras hacer un estado de la cuestión, se selecciona la película Oh brother! de los Hermanos Coen (O brother, where art thou?, 2000) y se estudia en relación con La Odisea. Se analiza cómo se ha llevado a cabo la adaptación de la temática, estructura y mensaje del mito en la nueva versión, qué modificaciones han experimentado estos aspectos y qué función cumple el mito dentro de la trama cinematográfica. Tras esto, el siguiente apartado ahonda en la figura de los autores de la película y en su relación con la fuente posible. Finalmente, se trata de esclarecer si existe una relación de mímesis entre ella y la película y, en caso afirmativo, determinar de qué tipo de mímesis se trata

UPPER EXTREMITY KINEMATICS DURING DIFFERENT BREATHING PATTERNS AND SELECTED STROKE DRILLS IN FRONT CRAWL SWIMMING

Some studies were developed trying to determine: how body roll affects the pUlling path and the influence of breathing actions on stroke mechanics. The aim of this study was to determine the differences of arm movement kinematics in different breathing patterns and selected stroke drills in front crawl swimming. Whether breath-holding or breathing, swimmers do not change their amplitude of movement in the stroke depth, width and length. When the swimmer performs the stroke drill of one-arm front crawl with the resting arm extended in front, breathing on the moving side, the stroke depth is reduced due to the lack of body rotation. When a coach prescribes swimming drills he must consider their influence on body rotation and pUlling path. Both can be greatly modified by the no moving arm position and breathing co-ordination

“La importancia de la Gestión de la Experiencia del Consumidor en el sector del lujo”.

El aumento de la digitalización de la industria de la moda, el crecimiento de la competitividad del mercado, y la existencia de un consumidor más exigente e informado saturado del marketing tradicional, ha dado lugar a un marketing enfocado en la creación de experiencias. El objetivo principal de mi trabajo es analizar la Experiencia del Consumidor en el ámbito de la industria del lujo. En este trabajo se estudiarán las características únicas del lujo y a sus consumidores. Por otro lado, estudiaremos el termino gestión de la experiencia del consumidor, de donde viene y sus últimas aplicaciones. También tendré en cuenta el factor actual de la pandemia del Covid-19. Intentaremos explicar cómo se debe de aplicar este enfoque de marketing específico en el mundo del lujo. Tras el trabajo teórico, realizaré una serie de entrevistas en profundidad a dos perfiles dentro del mundo del lujo: el consumidor y los expertos. Los resultados obtenidos en las entrevistas serán de gran ayuda ya que se harán a perfiles muy concretos, tendrán la libertad de expresarse y surgirán nuevas preguntas.<br /

The land–sea coastal border: a quantitative definition by considering the wind and wave conditions in a wave-dominated, micro-tidal environment

A quantitative definition for the land–sea (coastal) transitional area is proposed here for wave-driven areas, based on the variability and isotropy of met-ocean processes. Wind velocity and significant wave height fields are examined for geostatistical anisotropy along four cross-shore transects on the Catalan coast (north-western Mediterranean), illustrating a case of significant changes along the shelf. The variation in the geostatistical anisotropy as a function of distance from the coast and water depth has been analysed through heat maps and scatter plots. The results show how the anisotropy of wind velocity and significant wave height decrease towards the offshore region, suggesting an objective definition for the coastal fringe width. The more viable estimator turns out to be the distance at which the significant wave height anisotropy is equal to the 90th percentile of variance in the anisotropies within a 100 km distance from the coast. Such a definition, when applied to the Spanish Mediterranean coast, determines a fringe width of 2–4 km. Regarding the probabilistic characterization, the inverse of wind velocity anisotropy can be fitted to a log-normal distribution function, while the significant wave height anisotropy can be fitted to a log-logistic distribution function. The joint probability structure of the two anisotropies can be best described by a Gaussian copula, where the dependence parameter denotes a mild to moderate dependence between both anisotropies, reflecting a certain decoupling between wind velocity and significant wave height near the coast. This wind–wave dependence remains stronger in the central baylike part of the study area, where the wave field is being more actively generated by the overlaying wind. Height and political activism in rural Aragón (Spain) during the 20th century. A new perspective using individual-level data

This article explores the relationship between the political leanings of more than 1000 men born in the 1870–1970 s in 11 rural Aragonese villages and their biological well-being during childhood and adolescence, proxied by height. The aim is to test whether an individual was more likely to be left-wing if his level of biological well-being was lower and, therefore, with more incentives to fight against the social inequality that had negatively affected his family. Our results confirm that, for most of the study period, there was a strong relationship between shorter height and political activism1 in left-wing parties and organizations

Determination of 2-, 3-, 4-methylpentanoic and cyclohexanecarboxylic acids in wine: development of a selective method based on solid phase extraction and gas chromatography-negative chemical ionization mass spectrometry and its application to different wines and alcoholic beverages

A method to analyse 2-methylpentanoic, 3-methylpentanoic and 4-methylpentanoic acids as well as cyclohexanecarboxylic acid has been developed and applied to wine and other alcoholic beverages. Selective isolation with solid phase extraction, derivatization with 2,3,4,5,6-pentafluorobenzyl bromide at room temperature for 30 minutes, and further analysis by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry in negative chemical ionization mode provides detection limits between 0.4 and 2.4 ng/L. Good linearity up to 3.6 µg/L, satisfactory reproducibility (RSD < 10%) and signal recovery of around 100% represent a robust method of analysis. Concentration data of these analytes in wine and other alcoholic beverages are reported for the first time. The levels found ranged from the method detection limits to 2630 ng/L, 2040 ng/L and 3810 ng/L for 2-, 3- and 4- methylpentanoic acids, respectively, and to 1780 ng/L for cyclohexanecarboxylic acid. There are significant differences depending on the type of wine or beverage. Distilled beverages, beer and aged wines have higher contents in methylpentanoic and cyclohexanecarboxylic acids
