Some phytochemical and morphophysiological characteristics of Euphorbia cyparissias L. populations

    Get PDF
Perennial plants are able to adapt to different ecological habitats with their morphological and physiological characteristics. In this study some population of cyparissias L. were investigated. This stress tolerant species can adapt to its environment with morphological and reproductive marks. Differences were not detected in the presence of the investigated phytochemical compounds, only in their respective quantity, considering the extracts from Stem, leaf and inflorescence

The optimal pebbling number of staircase graphs

    Get PDF
Let G be a graph with a distribution of pebbles on its vertices. A pebbling move consists of removing two pebbles from one vertex and placing one pebble on an adjacent vertex. The optimal pebbling number of G is the smallest number of pebbles which can be placed on the vertices of G such that, for any vertex v of G, there is a sequence of pebbling moves resulting in at least one pebble on v. We determine the optimal pebbling number for several classes of induced subgraphs of the square grid, which we call staircase graphs. © 2018 Elsevier B.V

An exploratory conformational analysis of 3-mercapto-propanamide and 2-methyl-3-mercapto-propanamide as well as their S-deprotonated conjugate basis: An ab initio study

    Get PDF
Ab initio conformational analysis has been carried out on 3-mercapto-propanamide, (R)- and (S)-2-methyl-3-mercaptopropanamide as well as their S-deprotonated conjugate basis. They were carried out at the HF/3-21G level of theory. The topology of the conformational potential energy surfaces and hypersurfaces have been analysed.Fil: Torday, László L..
