Conditioned reflex activity of rats at later periods after the end of flight aboard the Kosmos-605 biosatellite

The aftereffects of spaceflight on the higher nervous activity of rats were studied. A five lane maze with a feeding terminal was used to check such factors as transfer of experience, the habit and speed of reaching the goal in the maze, long term memory, and the dynamics of errors. During the 3rd-7th postflight week, functional disturbances in the rat HNA were manifested in the deterioration of the capacity for the transfer of experience and for locating the feeding compartment in the maze, thus indicating a general decrease of work capacity. The increased number of errors and failures pointed to exhaustion of higher nervous processes and to the weakened functional activity of the brain

Image recognition is an information process implemented by some information converter (intelligent information channel, recognition system) having input and output. The input of the system is fed with information about the characteristics of the objects being presented. The output of the system displays information about which classes (generalized images) the recognized objects are assigned to. When creating and operating an automated system for pattern recognition, a number of problems are solved, while for different authors the formulations of these tasks, and the set itself, do not coincide, since it depends to a certain extent on the specific mathematical model on which this or that recognition system is based. This is the task of formalizing the domain, forming a training sample, learning the recognition system, reducing the dimensionality of space

The process of regionalization of the state-territorial structure in modern european countries : constitutional and legal forms

    Get PDF
Purpose: The paper attempts to identify the constitutional and legal forms of the regionalization process on the example of individual European countries. Design / Methodology / Approach: The authors put forward a hypothesis according to which each type of regionalization of the state-territorial structure ends with the adoption of the relevant normative legal act of constitutional significance. Findings: As a result of the study, the authors concluded that each type of regionalization process is accompanied by the adoption of an appropriate regulatory legal act. Given the fact that regionalization is inextricably linked with the state structure, it as an internal process of changing the constitutional and legal status of territorial units. Practical implications: Authors' development could be applied to improve the legal framework of Russia and European countries. Originality/Value: The contribution of the article is the authors' comprehensive approach in studying the regionalization concept, applying the historical, legislative and territorial background.peer-reviewe

On a class of 2D integrable lattice equations

We develop a new approach to the classification of integrable equations of the form uxy=f(u,ux,uy,zuzˉu,zzˉu), u_{xy}=f(u, u_x, u_y, \triangle_z u \triangle_{\bar z}u, \triangle_{z\bar z}u), where z\triangle_{ z} and zˉ\triangle_{\bar z} are the forward/backward discrete derivatives. The following 2-step classification procedure is proposed: (1) First we require that the dispersionless limit of the equation is integrable, that is, its characteristic variety defines a conformal structure which is Einstein-Weyl on every solution. (2) Secondly, to the candidate equations selected at the previous step we apply the test of Darboux integrability of reductions obtained by imposing suitable cut-off conditions

Application of Microsecond Voltage Pulses for Water Disinfection by Diaphragm Electric Discharge

The paper presents the dependence of copper and silver ions formation on the duration of voltage pulses of diaphragm electric discharge and on the pH of treated liquid medium. Knowing it allows one to create an automatic control system to control bactericidal agent's parameters obtained in diaphragm electric discharge reactor. The current-voltage characteristic of the reactor with a horizontal to the diaphragm membrane water flow powered from the author`s custom pulse voltage source is also presented. The results of studies of the power consumption of diaphragm electric discharge depending on temperature of the treated liquid medium are given

On Supergroups with Odd Clifford Parameters and Supersymmetry with Modified Leibniz Rule

We investigate supergroups with Grassmann parameters replaced by odd Clifford parameters. The connection with non-anticommutative supersymmetry is discussed. A Berezin-like calculus for odd Clifford variables is introduced. Fermionic covariant derivatives for supergroups with odd Clifford variables are derived. Applications to supersymmetric quantum mechanics are made. Deformations of the original supersymmetric theories are encountered when the fermionic covariant derivatives do not obey the graded Leibniz property. The simplest non-trivial example is given by the N=2 SQM with a real (1,2,1)(1,2,1) multiplet and a cubic potential. The action is real. Depending on the overall sign ("Euclidean" or "Lorentzian") of the deformation, a Bender-Boettcher pseudo-hermitian hamiltonian is encountered when solving the equation of motion of the auxiliary field. A possible connection of our framework with the Drinfeld twist deformation of supersymmetry is pointed out.Comment: Final version to be published in Int. J. Mod. Phys. A; 20 page

Clinical and Laboratory Markers of Hereditary Metabolic Diseases in Children of the First Half of Life

A significant contribution to the morbidity and mortality of children is due to hereditary pathology, which is manifested by high mortality. Aim of the research. To study the frequency of occurrence, structure and clinical and laboratory markers of hereditary metabolic diseases in children of the first half of the year with suspicion of this pathology. Materials and methods. A retrospective analysis of case histories (form No. 003/y) and a face-to-face examination of patients directed to blood tests by tandem mass spectrometry, from Surgery Unit No. 2 for Newborns and Premature Babies and from the Unit of Pathology of Newborns, (Ivano-Matryoninskaya City Children’s Clinical Hospital, Irkutsk). Results. In 2019, 21 children with suspected hereditary metabolic diseases were examined using the tandem mass spectrometry method in the above mentioned departments. All of them had at least one of the main clinical criteria for hereditary metabolic diseases: 67 % had hepatomegaly in combination with an increase in the level of liver enzymes, 43 % had a hereditary history and metabolic acidosis, 33 % showed a sudden deterioration after a period of normal development, 24 % had hypoglycemia, and 14 % had an abnormal urine or body odor, in 4.7 % of cases there was an increase in ketone bodies in the blood and (or) urine. All children identified from 3 to 7 additional criteria, which are indications for examination on the hereditary metabolic diseases. The results of the study revealed 5 children with hereditary metabolic diseases namely amino acid metabolism. 90 % of them had a burdened hereditary history, 100 % had a concomitant pathology – hepatitis and cholestatic lesions of the liver, anemia, an open oval window and others. Conclusion. Despite the obvious economic and medical significance of preclinical identification of patients with hereditary metabolic diseases, the screening problem contains many open questions that need to be addressed at all levels of the organization
