Technology for test-systems for diagnosis of modified proteins (proteopathy) underlying social diseases (Report 1)
A new experimental technique for obtaining diagnostic test systems is introduced based on conjugates "polymer microsphere–bioligand" for rapid diagnosis of autoantibodies to the modified protein on example of thyroglobulin, which consists of preliminary blocking of aldehyde groups of polymer microspheres by glycine amine groups, and then of the covalent interaction between carboxyl group of glycine and the amino groups of thyroglobulin. This way of creating test systems has enhanced the sensitivity of the reaction of latex agglutination (RLA) by extending the boundaries of titer.A new experimental technique for obtaining diagnostic test systems is introduced based on conjugates "polymer microsphere–bioligand" for rapid diagnosis of autoantibodies to the modified protein on example of thyroglobulin, which consists of preliminary blocking of aldehyde groups of polymer microspheres by glycine amine groups, and then of the covalent interaction between carboxyl group of glycine and the amino groups of thyroglobulin. Flexural properties of the epoxy resin filled with single and hybrid carbon nanofillers
The aim of this paper was to estimate the effect of moisture and temperature on the
flexural properties of the epoxy filled with single and hybrid carbon nanofillers (CNTs and
CNFs) and to reveal the most environmentally stable NC. Water absorption at 70 °C until
equilibrium moisture content and heating at 70 °C for 4 weeks were followed by freezing at -
20 °C for 8 weeks. Microstructural characterization of optical images revealed homogeneous
dispersion of all carbon nanofillers in the epoxy resin at microscale. Positive nanofiller effects
were found for sorption, flexural and thermophysical characteristics of the epoxy resin. The
most environmentally stable NC was epoxy filled with 0.1 wt. % of CNTs/CNFs hybrid, which
had the lowest effect of temperature and moisture on mechanical characteristics, along with the
lowest equilibrium water content and diffusivity
Assessment of the recreational potential of the forest territory of the Sverdlovsk region
The purpose of this study is to present our vision of assessing the recreational potential of the territory (RPT) for its effective management. We suggest using this territory assessment method, which consists of two main stages: assessment of the recreational component of the natural environment and assessment of the necessary amount of investment to use the recreational biodiversity of the territories. The article analyzes the approaches and presents the results of a comprehensive assessment of the recreational potential of the forest lands of the Sverdlovsk region. Created a map ranking the Sverdlovsk region according to the results of research with application for developing a comprehensive assessment of RPT on the methods, developed on the basis of the theory of "games with nature": the method of structured comparison of RPT on the Hurwitz criterion, aspiring to the maximum and to identify the factors dominating the impact from the application of the Wald criterion. Based on the conducted research on the analysis of the influence of forests on the formation of recreational characteristics, the authors obtained weighted average generalized coefficients of recreational attractiveness of forests of different types in the forest management areas of the Sverdlovsk region and identified 10 forest-cadastre areas in the Sverdlovsk region. This paper also presents a developed and tested method for a comprehensive assessment of the recreational potential of forest lands in the territory of the Sverdlovsk region in order to attract investment. Preliminary investment volumes for the development of the Sverdlovsk region's RPT (based on the cost of forest biodiversity) are presented. We consider the proposed territory ranking to be a necessary indicator for effective management of the subject's territories. © The Authors, published by EDP Sciences. Chemical composition of seeds and green beans of common bean varieties, breeded in Omsk State Agrarian University under conditions of southern forest-steppe zone of Western Siberia
ArticleThe article considers the biochemical composition of green beans and seeds of
common beans varieties, breeded in Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin
(OmSAU). The research was conducted in 2014–2016. Varieties of locally breeded beans, in
comparison with the standards, have advantages in the content of protein, zinc, iodine, calcium,
iron, sugar; green bean technological properties and tenderizing of seeds during cooking, which
becomes an indispensable component of the diet
Microparticles prepared from biodegradable polyhydroxyalkanoates as matrix for encapsulation of cytostatic drug
Microparticles made from degradable polyhydroxyalkanoates of different chemical compositions a homopolymer of 3-hydroxybutyric acid, copolymers of 3-hydroxybutyric and 4-hydroxybutyric acids (P3HB/4HB), 3-hydroxybutyric and 3-hydroxyvaleric acids (P3HB/3HV), 3-hydroxybutyric and 3-hydroxyhexanoic acids (P3HB/3HHx) were prepared using the solvent evaporation technique, from double emulsions. The study addresses the influence of the chemical compositions on the size and ξ-potential of microparticles. P3HB microparticles loaded with doxorubicin have been prepared and investigated. Their average diameter and ξ-potential have been found to be dependent upon the level of loading (1, 5, and 10 % of the polymer mass). Investigation of the in vitro drug release behavior showed that the total drug released from the microparticle into the medium increased with mass concentration of the drug. In this study mouse fibroblast NIH 3T3 cells were cultivated on PHA microparticles, and results of using fluorescent DAPI DNA stain, and MTT assay showed that microparticles prepared from PHAs of different chemical compositions did not exhibit cytotoxicity to cells cultured on them and proved to be highly biocompatible. Cell attachment and proliferation on PHA microparticles were similar to those on polystyrene. The cytostatic drug encapsulated in P3HB/3HV microparticles has been proven to be effective against HeLa tumor cells.Russia (Federation) (Agreement 11.G34.31.0013)Program of the President of Russia for Young Doctors of Sciences (Grant MD-3112.2012.4
Evaluation of the state of medical care in patients with arterial hypertension in combination with gout by retrospective analysis data.
The prevalence of cardiovascular diseases, especially arterial hypertension, continues to increase. An important problem is the management of the patient with a comorbid pathology in the primary link by the family physician. The purpose of this study was to assess the state of medical care in patients with arterial hypertension combined with gout, using a retrospective analysis of ambulatory cards, diagnostic and treatment data. There were analyzed 105 outpatient cards that met the inclusion criteria. The mean age of patients was 53.5±10.2 years. Among the examined patients there were 99 males (94.3%), and 6 (5.7%)females. Аrterial hypertension stage II has been reported in 100 (95.2%) patients, stage III – 5 (4.8%) patients. Аrterial hypertension 1 degree is established in 74 (70,5%) patients, 2 degrees – 21 (20%), 3 degrees – 10 (9,5%). The average duration of the gout was 4.4 [4; 2] years, arterial hypertension – 5.3 [3; 1] years. Acute gouty arthritis was present in 11 (10.5%) patients, chronic gouty arthritis – 85 (81%), and chronic tofi arthritis – 9 (8.5%). Patients seek medical help from their family doctor too late. Examination of patients with hypertension in combination with gout is not complete, this contributes to underestimation of total cardiovascular risk. In a number of cases, titration of the dose of allopurinol higher than 300 mg is not, performed so only a third of patients reach the target uric acid level
