The control of electrohydraulic systems has been the focus of powerful research over the last decades. Inherent nonlinear behaviour of the hydraulic systems makes them ideal subjects for applying different types of sophisticated controllers. In this work, a simulink model is developed of a proportional valve controlled hydraulic cylinder system. This study considers the application of neural networks to the control of a hydraulic cylinder which is driven by a proportional valve, subjected to variable reference trajectory and variable load conditions. In industrial applications, these types of systems are used widely in robotics, milling machines, in aerotics field with G and motion simulators and military applications. The system model is fully implemented in Matlab?s Simulink simulation package and model of each hydraulic component is developed and combined in a library for easy reuse. Bond graph model of the system is also developed. Applying neural network model predictive control (NNMPC) to the fourth order nonlinear system model, position control is performed. Performance of the NNMPC algorithm is also investigated by changing system parameters. Piston load and effective bulk modulus of hydraulic fluid are the most important system parameters which have valuable effects on the hydraulic system dynamics. Simulations show that, neural network model predictive control is successful for position control in spite of different values of piston load and different bulk modulus. Keywords: Neural network, predictive control, proportional valve, hydraulic cylinder

WOS: 000348289800022Lactococcus garvieae is a major fish pathogen leads to haemorragic septicemia in many fish species. Present study was designed to determine and compare differences in susceptibilities of some important fish species to L. garvieae. Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), Black Sea trout (Salmo trutta labrax; synonym, Salmo coruhensis), turbot (Psetta maxima), and sea bass (Dicentrarchus labrax) were kept at different temperature ranges (12-23 degrees C) for 30 days and challenged by intraperitoneal (i.p.) injection and immersion (imm) with L. garvieae (Lgper), isolated from rainbow trout and ATCC49156 strain. Bacteria were ranged between 1.7x10(5) - 2x10(6) colonies forming unit (cfu) fish(-1) in experiments. As a result of the experiments, Lgper strain had high virulence for rainbow trout, with 98% mortality when challenged by i.p. injection. Rainbow trout and Black Sea trout tested at the lower temperature (12 degrees C) were less susceptible (max. mortality 16%) to L. garvieae. These two fish species had similar susceptibilities to L. garvieae (P>0.05). There was no mortality or any clinical signs when turbot and sea bass were challenged with L. garvieae. the results of the study generate important source in controlling of possible lactococcosis outbreaks in aquaculture industry.Central Fisheries Research Institute (CFRI)This study was supported by the Central Fisheries Research Institute (CFRI). Numerical computing approach for solving Hunter-Saxton equation arising in liquid crystal model through sinc collocation method
In this study, numerical treatment of liquid crystal model described through Hunter-Saxton equation (HSE) has been presented by sinc collocation technique through theta weighted scheme due to its enormous applications including, defects, phase diagrams, self-assembly, rheology, phase transitions, interfaces, and integrated biological applications in mesophase materials and processes. Sinc functions provide the procedure for function approximation over all types of domains containing singularities, semi-infinite or infinite domains. Sinc functions have been used to reduce HSE into an algebraic system of equations that makes the solution quite superficial. These algebraic equations have been interpreted as matrices. This projected that sinc collocation technique is considerably efficacious on computational ground for higher accuracy and convergence of numerical solutions. Stability analysis of the proposed technique has ensured the accuracy and reliability of the method, moreover, as the stability parameter satisfied the condition the proposed solution of the problem converges. The solution of the HSE is presented through graphical figures and tables for different cases that are constructed on various values of θ and collocation points. The accuracy and efficiency of the proposed technique is analyzed on the basis of absolute errors. This research has been partially supported by Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades grant number PGC2018-0971-B-100 and Fundación Séneca -Agencia de Ciencia y Tecnología de la Región de Murcia grant number 20783/PI/18. Isolation of Citrobacter freundii from Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) in Freshwater Cage
In this study, the
bacteriological examination was done in case of disease suspect of rainbow
trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) which kept in cages in the Black Sea Region of
Turkey. The bacterial agent was identified as Citrobacter braakii by rapid test
kit (API 20E, Profile: 1704553), further identification was performed by 16S
rRNA gene sequencing. Bacteria were identified as Citrobacter freundii by
further molecular analysis. The antibacterial susceptibility of bacteria was
also determined for 6 different antibiotics. The bacteria was sensitive to
florfenicol, enrofloxacin, oxytetracycline and trimethoprim+sulfamethoxazole
and resistant to erythromycin and amoxicillin-clavulanate. The most effective
antibiotic was florfenicol. The disease was treated with florfenicol
Lactoco ccus garvieae is a major fish pathogen leads to haemorragic septicemia in many fish species. On the dynamical behavior of nonlinear Fitzhugh-Nagumo and Bateman-Burger equations in quantum model using Sinc collocation scheme
The main objective of this study is to numerically investigate the dynamical behavior of nonlinear Fitzhugh-Nagumo and Bateman-Burger systems through the Sinc collocation method by means of the theta-weighted scheme on various grid points of time-dependent evolutionary one spatial dimension in open quantum flow field model. The proposed technique based on the Sinc function is treated as a shape function to transform the governing nonlinear partial differential equation into an algebraic system. To approximate the time and spatial derivatives, finite difference scheme and the theta-weighted scheme have been used simultaneously due to the occurrence of infinite domain and multiple singularities. The effectiveness of the proposed results on the computational ground is illustrated graphically for better understanding and reliable performance of the design scheme is endorsed based on assessments of achieved accuracy in terms of stability analysis and convergence analysis
