Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat dijadikan bahan rekomendasi upaya mitigasi bencana erosi di kecamatan BrebesKata Kunci: Sedimentasi, Pesisir Brebes, Hidrodinamika arus, Isotop Unsupported 210Pb Several efforts to mitigate the erosion event which occurred in Brebes sub district have been done by mangrove cultivation, hybrid engineering, and breakwater as well. Nevertheless, all those efforts did not work right away to solve the erosion problem and deteriorate its impact. This study has aim to determine the absolute sediment dating, which represents the study area. We decided the absolute sediment dating based on natural isotop activity 210Pb contained on sediment. Sedimentation rate calculation result was correlated with the river discharge and hydro-oceanography conditions in the sediment area systems. Based on unsupported 210Pb profile, at the station IST-01 (Pemali estuary) and IST-2 (Nipon estuary), the averages of sedimentation rate are 0.22 cm/year and 0.211 cm/year respectively. The discharge of Pemali River has ranged 14.4-48.1 m3/s. The current speed at the point IST-01 has ranged 0.001-0.1 m/s and at the station IST-02 has ranged 0.001-0.08 m/s. The hydro-oceanography condition which is volatile has a big impact on the process of sedimentation. The enhancing of river discharge has a correlation with the sedimentation rate enhancement in Pemali and Nippon estuary. The result of this study could be a basis of erosion mitigation effort in Brebes sub district

Groundwater coastal vulnerability is one of the most important issues in the human development today. Anticipation to mitigate negative impacts of groundwater coastal quality due to climate change impacts and anthropogenic activities, required to indicate the zonation with high vulnerability index. The GALDIT method is a one of numerical rating system for assessing the susceptibility of groundwater coastal vulnerability. Three important parts of this system were weighting criteria, range of data and ratings. The focus of this research is to applied GALDIT method to access groundwater coastal vulnerability in Jawa Island along the Sunda Strait. In conclusion, this method needs to be integrated with local vulnerability factors and compared with other methods to be applied more accurately

However, users often see ‘off-grid’ systems as the second-best option, compared to citywide piped water systems. Thus, although they are designed to improve access to water and reduce inequality, they can be perceived by users as infrastructural manifestations of extant inequality. In this paper, we present original research on the perceptions of users in Cimahi, Indonesia, surrounding their access to water and willingness to use and maintain ‘off-grid’ infrastructure. The majority of respondents used groundwater and packaged water as their primary water sources, and paid approximately twice the maximum tariff of piped water service. We interpreted the survey data with the theory of planned behavior framework and determined that respondents demonstrated a willingness to pay fees for ‘off-grid’ water systems, participate in water supply programs, and switch to new water sources. These intentions were affected by their attitude towards the behavior, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control to various degrees. The findings are useful for those designing strategies to introduce novel water delivery systems aimed at improving water access for diverse and disadvantaged socioeconomic groups in urban areas in the Global South
