Geographic Survey of Oxyspirura Petrowi Among Wild Northern Bobwhites in the United States

Eyeworms (Oxyspirura petrowi) are potentially associated with northern bobwhite (Colinus virginianus) declines. We examined hunter-donated bobwhites from the 2013–2015 hunting seasons in 9 states to document infection prevalence (% of bobwhites [of total n]) and intensity (mean no. of eyeworms ± SE). Four states harbored infected bobwhites: Texas (59.1% [n = 110], 15.6 ± 2.1), Oklahoma (52.1% [n = 121], 6.9 ± 1.2), Virginia (14.8% [n = 27], 2.5 ± 1.0), and Alabama (1.6% [n = 61], 2.0). Prevalence and intensity of eyeworms in the Texas Rolling Plains were greater (P \u3c 0.001 and P = 0.002, respectively) than in any other area sampled. Based on our survey, eyeworms are locally prevalent and abundant in bobwhites from the Rolling Plains ecoregion, but virtually nonexistent in many areas that we surveyed

An alternative method of determining the value of the coefficient k6 for valuation of buildings

One of the methods that are currently used to determine the estimated value of the forensic expert in the real estate industry (focusing on the economy, real estate prices and estimates), the comparative method. In this method applies, inter alia, the coefficient K6, which reduces or increases the estimated final price determined by expert opinion. Determination of the coefficient K6 is implemented as an expert professional estimate. This price adjustment has its upper and lower limit and is dependent on external factors. The authors provide an alternative method of determining this coefficient method that can significantly eliminate subjective perception and help determine the value of this coefficient. To determine the method was applied risk analysis and SWOT analysis.Jednou z metod, která se v současné době používá pro určení odhadované hodnoty forenzním expertem v oblasti realit (se zaměřením na ekonomiku, ceny a odhady nemovitostí), je srovnávací metoda. V této metodě se uplatňuje, mimo jiné, koeficient K6, který snižuje nebo zvyšuje výslednou odhadní cenu stanovenou znaleckým posudkem. Stanovení koeficientu K6 se realizuje jako odborný odhad znalce. Tato úprava ceny má svou horní a dolní mez a je závislá na vnějších vlivech. Autoři článku poskytují alternativní způsob stanovení tohoto koeficientu metodou, která může podstatně eliminovat subjektivní vnímání a pomoct určit hodnotu tohoto koeficientu. Import 02/11/2016Diplomová práce se v teoretické části zabývá charakteristikou lokality, popisem získané kovonosné strusky z kutnohorské haldy a následně získávaného a zpracovávaného materiálu. Experimentální část práce se zabývá flotací strusky z dané lokality za účelem nabohacení stříbra do flotačního koncentrátu. Závěr práce obsahuje vyhodnocení tohoto experimentu a následné srovnání předchozích diplomových prací, které se tímto tématem zabývaly.The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the characterization of the locality, the deseription of the metal - bearing slag goined from the Kutná Hora heap and subsequently extracted and processed material. The experimental part of the thesis discusses the slag flotation from the mentioned locality in order to enrich the flotated concentrate with silver. Počítačové modelování difúze v polymerních roztocích

We performed coarse-grained molecular dynamics simulations of fully dissociated polyelectrolytes in the presence of monovalent and multivalent counterions and charged oligomers. The dynamics of these systems has been studied to follow internal dynamics of polyelectrolyte and counterions. The dynamics is presented via the mean square displacement which we obtain from the simulation trajectory and, moreover, via curves of Fluorescence Correlation Spectroscopy (FCS) obtained also from the simulation trajectory. FCS is an experimental technique which can be used to study condensation of counterions on polyelectrolytes. Therefore, we analyze the FCS curves and investigate applicability of various analytical models to fit these FCS curves. The aim of this work is a discussion about the fitting of the FCS curves and presentation of our observations for dynamics of counterions during condensation on the polyelectrolyte.Představujeme molekulové simulace roztoků plně disociovaných polyelektrolytů v přítomnosti monovalentních a multivalentních protiiontů a nabitých oligomerů. Zaměřujeme se na studium vnitřní dynamiky polyelektrolytu a dynamiky protiiontů, kterou znázorňujeme pomocí středního kvadratického posunutí vypočteného z trajektorie simulace. Z této trajektorie jsme schopni vypočítat i křivky Fluorescenční Korelační Spektroskopie (FCS), což je jedna z experimentálních metod, které se používají ke studiu dynamiky protiiontů v průběhu kondenzace na polyelektrolyt. Jednotlivé FCS křivky se snažíme analyzovat pomocí vhodných modelů. Práce obsahuje problematiku ocelových patrových budov, návrh patrové budovy a její dispozice, výkresovou dokumentaci v rozsahu dokumentace pro stavební řízení nutnou pro seznámení se s objektem a následný statický výpočet a posouzení. Influence of production technology on interlamellar distance, strength and fatigue characteristics of wires for braids of high pressure hoses

Diplomová práce pojednává o experimentu, ve kterém se pozoroval vliv různých rychlostí patentování na výsledné mechanické a únavové vlastnosti patentovaného ocelového drátu. Při vypracování této diplomové práce byly použity celkem 4 různé rychlosti patentování a to DV 1, 2, 3, 4 metrů za minutu, kdy se následně provádělo zkoušení tahem, krutem, ohybem, zkoušení únavy, určení mikrotvrdosti a měření mezilamelární vzdálenosti. Tažené dráty v dnešní době nachází uplatnění v širokém rozsahu odvětví. Nejčastěji je lze pozorovat v automobilovém nebo leteckém průmyslu, kde slouží například jako výztuhy do pneumatik nebo pružiny do aut. Tato práce se blíže zaměřuje na popis drátů, které se používají jakožto materiál pro oplety vysokotlakých hadic. Tyto hadice se musí oplétat z důvodu bezpečnosti, životnosti a použitelnosti hadic při vysokých tlacích.This diploma thesis deals with an experiment in which the influence of different patenting speeds on the resulting mechanical and fatigue properties of a patented steel wire was observed. total of 4 different patenting speeds were used in this thesis, namely 1, 2, 3, 4 metres per minute, followed by tensile, torsion, bending, fatigue testing, microhardness determination and interlamellar distance measurement were subsequently carried out. Drawn wires nowadays find application in a wide range of industries. They are most commonly seen in the automotive or aerospace industries, where they serve as reinforcements for tyres or springs for cars, for example. This paper takes a closer look at the description of wires that are used as a material for braiding high pressure hoses. Customer Satisfaction Measurement with Local Lifestyle Magazine

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá měřením spokojenosti čtenářů lokálního lifestylového magazínu. Cílem této práce je získání povědomí o spokojenosti čtenářů s obsahem, vizuální stránkou časopisu a předplatným, včetně doprovodných služeb k předplatnému. Vyhodnocení probíhalo na základě dotazníkového šetření. Zkoumání byl podroben obsah jednotlivých rubrik a vizuální podoba magazínu. Pozornost se zaměřila na spokojenost s cenou předplatného, formu distribuce a benefitů, které by předplatitelé ocenili v rámci předplatného. V závěru práce jsou nastíněny kroky, které mohou vést ke zkvalitnění magazínu a zlepšení spokojenosti předplatitelů.This diploma thesis is focused on customer satisfaction measurement with local lifestyle magazine. The aim of this diploma thesis is analyse customer satisfaction with magazine content, visual design and satisfaction with subscription with following customer service. Evaluation of the satisfaction was made with online questionnaire. In questionnaire was analysed satisfaction with magazine content and visual style.
