Identification of Consumer Attitudes towards Brands in the Clothing Market

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo identifikovat postoje spotřebitelů ke značkám na oděvním trhu. Dílčím cílem bylo zjistit, jestli je pro zákazníky značka hlavním kritériem při nákupním rozhodování, jaká kritéria jsou při rozhodování stěžejní, znalost značek sportovních oděvů, preference značek a důvody nákupu sportovních oděvů. Výzkum byl realizován pomocí online dotazníkového šetření. Konečný výběrový soubor tvořilo 236 respondentů. Výzkumem bylo zjištěno, že spotřebitelé mají velkou znalost značek na trhu sportovních oděvů, málo respondentů je věrných jedné značce a spotřebitele spíše ovlivňuje při nákupním rozhodování kvalita než značka. Na základě zjištěných výsledků byly vytvořeny návrhy a doporučení pro společnosti působící na trhu sportovních oděvů.The main aim of bachelor thesis was identification of consumer attitudes towards brands in the clothing market. The next aim was found out information about customers, whether the brand is the main criterion in shopping, which criteria are important for them, knowledge about brands of sports clothing, preference of brands and reasons of shopping sportswear. The research was made by online questionnaire survey. Final sample has got 236 respondents. By research was find out, that consumers have a big knowledge of brands on sportswear market. Also are a little bit of respondents are faithfully to one brand and most of the consumers are influenced by quality not by brand. Sports tourism in the Pardubice Region

Topic: Sports tourism in the Pardubice Region Objectives: The main aim of the thesis is to develop several general recommendations and own suggestions regarding sports tourism in the Pardubice Region, based on an evaluation of its overall potential. The conclusions of the thesis could increase the region's sport-tourism potential, rise the tourist traffic and contribute to the region's dynamic development. Methods: In this work, two separate methods of data collecting and one evaluation method were used. The principal method of data collecting was the examination of documents, especially official documents, archive data and virtual data. The second method consisted of leading semi-structured interviews with two experts in the field of tourism. The method for evaluating the potential was created and subsequently applied on the examined region. Results: The Pardubice Region is endowed with good natural potential for tourism development, which relies mainly on convenient natural prerequisites; however, the potential is not sufficiently developed. Sports tourism and recreational tourism prevails in the region, grounded in a stronger summer season. Stěžejní metodou sběru dat se stalo zkoumání dokumentů, a to zejména úředních dokumentů, archivních dat a virtuálních dat. Druhá metoda sběru dat nabyla konkrétní podoby dvou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s experty na oblast cestovního ruchu. Vytvořena a následně aplikována na zkoumané území byla i vlastní metoda hodnocení potenciálu. Výsledky: Pardubický kraj disponuje dobrým a rozmanitým přirozeným potenciálem pro rozvoj cestovního ruchu, který se opírá zejména o vhodné přírodní předpoklady, prozatím je ale nedostatečně rozvinut. Import 29/09/2010Bakalářská práce popisuje možnosti poštovních serverů na platformě Windows, obsahuje popis instalace Exchange serveru 2007 ve firmách různých velikostí a uvádí vzorové příklady pro konfiguraci a správu tohoto poštovního systému. V práci jsou popsány a porovnány poštovní servery Kerio Mail Server, IBM Lotus Domino a Microsoft Exchange Server. Následně je popsán návrh implementace Exchange Serveru 2007 do vytvořených modelů společností. Společnosti se liší jak počtem uživatelů poštovního systému, tak topologickým uspořádáním. Jednotlivé návrhy jsou dále doplněny o názorné tutoriály popisující průběh instalace. Poslední část je věnována správě a konfiguraci poštovního serveru Microsoft Exchange 2007 s použitím grafického rozhraní i příkazového řádku, tedy pomocí příkazů Exchange Management Shellu.Bachelor thesis describes possibilities of mail servers on the Windows platform, including Exchange server 2007 installation in companies of various sizes. There are practical examples of Exchange server configuration and management. Thesis includes description and comparison of Kerio Mail Server, IBM Lotus Domino and Microsoft Exchange Server, followed by implementation design of Exchange 2007 server into specific company models. These companies differs both in number of users and also topological settings. Each design contains a particular tutorial of whole installation process. California Proposition 187 - The American Immigration Discussion in 1990's

Immigration - legal and illegal - has been an important issue throughout the United States history. One of the periods of high interest in immigration and related themes occurred during the 1990's, especially between years 1994 and 1996. The controversial Proposition 187 restricting the illegal immigrants' access to welfare benefits and state education passed in California in November 1994 was the first anti-immigrant measure of this period. The state of California became once again a ''trendmaker" in the immigration policy of the United States. Nevertheless, California is rather unique among the states of the Union with its substantially high share of foreign born population and great ethnic diversity. The goal of the thesis was to analyze the immigration discussion in California in 1990's on the example of Proposition 187 passed in 1994 in a referendum and evaluate the impact of the discussion on the federal legislative and the federal immigration debate. Predmetom diplomovej práce je právne konanie podnikateľa. Nejedná sa pritom o komplexné spracovanie celej matérie tejto problematiky, skôr o zameranie sa na judikatúru vyšších súdov v snahe o zaplnenie nejasných či problematických miest zákonnej úpravy. V úvode práce je právne konanie podnikateľa definované na kontraste s obchodným vedením a rozhodovaním. Druhá kapitola sa zaoberá priamym konaním podnikateľa - právnickej osoby jej štatutárnym orgánom, určeným spôsobom konania v kontraste k obmedzeniu konateľského oprávnenia a následkom súbehu oprávnení konať menom podnikateľa. Stručne je tiež zmienené konanie menom spoločnosti pred jej vznikom a niektoré aspekty konateľského oprávnenia likvidátora. V tretej kapitole je rozobraté zastúpenie podnikateľa so zameraním na hmotnoprávne zastúpenie. Na začiatku je rozlíšené a stručne charakterizované zastúpenie zmluvné a zákonné. Its aim is not to produce a comprehensive elaboration on the subject matter but to focus on judicial decisions of the higher courts with an effort to fill in gaps in legislation and to clarify dubious parts of the legal text. Chapter One is introductory and defines basic institutes used in the thesis such as management of the company, acting on behalf of legal entity and decision-making. Chapter Two examines an acting on behalf of the corporation by its corporate agent, a set manner of acting, its limitation and consequences of a concurrence of the agents. The chapter briefly mentions an acting in the name of a company before its incorporation and some aspects of powers of a proctor. Measurement of Mechanical Properties of Composite Materials

The aim of the present work was the study of mechani- cal properties of MWCNT/PU. Four types of coatings were compared. Two different concentrations of MWCNTs com- mercially functionalized with COOH group were prepared and studied. These composites showed improved mechanical properties compared to PU, and the modified nanotubes proved to be much better fillers than the unmodified MWCNTs due to stronger filler-to-matrix attachment. Be- cause the modified nanotubes seem to be much more conven- ient composite filler, the first experiments with nanotube modification have been carried out. Modification using induc- tively coupled discharge in argon and oxygen mixture was successful and the mechanical properties of the composite were increased at the same level as in case of the commer- cially COOH functionalized MWCNT fillers.V práci byly studovány mechanické vlastnosti vrstev MWCNT/PU a porovnávány čtyry různé typy jejich nanášení. Decitabine potentiates efficacy of doxorubicin in a preclinical trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive breast cancer models

Acquired drug resistance and metastasis in breast cancer (BC) are coupled with epigenetic deregulation of gene expression. Epigenetic drugs, aiming to reverse these aberrant transcriptional patterns and sensitize cancer cells to other therapies, provide a new treatment strategy for drug-resistant tumors. Here we investigated the ability of DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) inhibitor decitabine (DAC) to increase the sensitivity of BC cells to anthracycline antibiotic doxorubicin (DOX). Three cell lines representing different molecular BC subtypes, JIMT-1, MDA-MB-231 and T-47D, were used to evaluate the synergy of sequential DAC + DOX treatment in vitro. The cytotoxicity, genotoxicity, apoptosis, and migration capacity were tested in 2D and 3D cultures. Moreover, genome-wide DNA methylation and transcriptomic analyses were employed to understand the differences underlying DAC responsiveness. The ability of DAC to sensitize trastuzumab-resistant HER2-positive JIMT-1 cells to DOX was examined in vivo in an orthotopic xenograft mouse model. DAC and DOX synergistic effect was identified in all tested cell lines, with JIMT-1 cells being most sensitive to DAC. Based on the whole-genome data, we assume that the aggressive behavior of JIMT-1 cells can be related to the enrichment of epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition and stemness-associated pathways in this cell line. The four-week DAC + DOX sequential administration significantly reduced the tumor growth, DNMT1 expression, and global DNA methylation in xenograft tissues. The efficacy of combination therapy was comparable to effect of pegylated liposomal DOX, used exclusively for the treatment of metastatic BC. The practical assessment section includes the calculations of individual indicators and their subsequent impact on the graphs of this data. This paper deals with the issue of financing technology investments. Specifically, it concerns the process of loading and transportation of sand and gravel. The research was conducted through a questionnaire survey. The main objective of this paper is to identify financing sources used for the process of loading and transportation of sand and gravel in selected companies. Another objective was to evaluate whether the selected industrial companies outsource the process of loading and transportation or not. If so, it was then necessary to find out the most common reason for that decision. The issues of financing technological processes in loading and transporting sand and gravel is an interesting area that has not yet been mapped.Příspěvek se zabývá problematikou financování technologických investic. Konkrétně jde o proces nakládání a dopravy štěrkopísků. Výzkum byl proveden formou dotazníkového šetření. Hlavním cílem příspěvku je zjistit, z jakých zdrojů je financován proces nakládání a dopravy štěrkopísků ve vybraných podnicích. Dalším cílem bylo vyhodnotit, zda vybrané průmyslové podniky outsourcují proces nakládání a dopravy. Pokud ano, pak bylo zapotřebí zjistit, jaký je nejčastější důvod takového rozhodnutí.
