Towards a path integral for the pure-spin connection formulation of gravity

A proposal for the path-integral of pure-spin-connection formulation of gravity is described, based on the two-form formulation of Capovilla et. al. It is shown that the resulting effective-action for the spin-connection, upon functional integration of the two-form field Σ\Sigma and the auxiliary matrix field ψ\psi is {\it non-polynomial}, even for the case of vanishing cosmological constant and absence of any matter couplings. Further, a diagramatic evaluation is proposed for the contribution of the matrix-field to the pure spin connection action.Comment: 8 pages in plain-TeX.-----IUCAA_TH/9

    Get PDF
For increasing growth and productivity of crop field, farmers need automatic monitoring of disease of plants instead of manual. Manual monitoring of disease do not give satisfactory result as naked eye observation is old method requires more time for disease recognition also need expert hence it is non effective. So in this paper, we introduced a modern technique to find out disease related to both leaf and fruit. To overcome disadvantages of traditional eye observing technique, we used digital image processing technique for fast and accurate disease detection of plant. In our proposed work, we developed k-means clustering algorithm with multi SVM algorithm in MATLAB software for disease identification and classification

AN APPROACH FOR FAULT DETECTION AND FAULT MANAGEMENT IN THE WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORK TO EXTEND NETWORK LIFETIME

A mobile wireless ad hoc sensor network (MANET) consists of a group of homogeneous or heterogeneous mobile communicating hosts that form an arbitrary network interconnected via by means of several wireless communication media without any fixed infrastructure. In such network the delivery of the data packet from source to destination may fail for various reasons and major due to failure-prone environment of networks. This may happens due to the topology changes, node failure due to battery exhaust, failure of the communication module in the wireless node and results in the link failure. This paper addressed the major problem of link failure in the WSN and with the aim of providing robust solution so as to satisfy the stern end-to-end requirements of QoS-based communication networks. In this paper we modifies existing fully distributed cluster-based routing algorithm by addressing local recovery for the link failure. Performance of this new fault-tolerant fully distributed cluster-based routing algorithm is evaluated by simulating it in NS2 environment and we show that it performs better than the existing algorithm and provide better solution for fault detection and fault management along the QoS paths

Ectopic prostatic tissue and seminal vesicle at pericolic fat is extremely rare. The nodules in the pericolic fat could raise a dilemma of metastatic deposits in cases of rectal adenocarcinoma. A 61 years old male underwent abdomino-perineal resection for rectal carcinoma. Nodules along with lymph nodes from pericolic fat were sampled to assess the spread. Histopathological and immunohistochemical staining of one nodule confirmed it to be the prostatic tissue while another nodule to be seminal vesicle. Seminal vesicle and prostatic heterotopia is significant in several respects, either symptomatic or asymptomatic, as the ectopic tissue can be endoscopically and histologically confused with malignancy of urinary or lower gastrointestinal system and may reflect divergent differentiation or a malformative process

Data Analysis techniques that are Association manage mining and Frequent thing set mining are two prominent and broadly utilized for different applications. The conventional framework concentrated independently on vertically parceled database and on a level plane apportioned databases on the premise of this presenting a framework which concentrate on both on a level plane and vertically divided databases cooperatively with protection safeguarding component. Information proprietors need to know the continuous thing sets or affiliation rules from an aggregate information set and unveil or uncover as few data about their crude information as could reasonably be expected to other information proprietors and outsiders. To guarantee information protection a Symmetric Encryption Technique is utilized to show signs of improvement result. Cloud supported successive thing set mining arrangement used to exhibit an affiliation govern mining arrangement. The subsequent arrangements are intended for outsourced databases that permit various information proprietors to proficiently share their information safely without trading off on information protection. Information security is one of the key procedures in outsourcing information to different outside clients. Customarily Fast Distribution Mining calculation was proposed for securing conveyed information. These business locales an issue by secure affiliation governs over parceled information in both even and vertical. A Frequent thing sets calculation and Distributed affiliation administer digging calculation is used for doing above method adequately in divided information, which incorporates administrations of the information in outsourcing process for disseminated databases. This work keeps up or keeps up proficient security over vertical and flat perspective of representation in secure mining applications

Design and Validation of Pressure Based Flow Rate Soft Sensor for Freeze-Drying

    Get PDF
Lyophilization or freeze drying is a process of removing water by sublimation. It is commonly used to extend the shelf life of drugs in the pharmaceutical industry. Because the process is costly and time consuming, precise and efficient pressure, temperature control and drying time estimation are required. It is the goal of freeze-drying to run at maximum capacity while staying within the safe zone by carefully controlling the sublimation rate. Currently, real time estimation of sublimation rate is still challenging. The technique available called Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) is invasive, and requires major modifications. The current study focuses on exploring a new method of measuring the sublimation rate by using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and pressure sensors currently used. This involves both numerical analysis, using ANSYS FLUENT, and experiment of ice sublimation to find sublimation rate as a function of pressure drop across the pipe connecting the chamber and the condenser. The experiments were set up by increasing the shelf temperature in steps at certain pressure set points, and then the condenser pressure and sublimation rate were recorded. Using condenser pressure and chamber pressure as inputs for flow simulations, verification was done by comparing the simulated and experimental sublimation rates. The sublimation rates and pressure drops showed a positive nonlinear correlation, which was also dependent on the geometry of the freeze dryer. Each freeze dryer has different duct lengths and diameters. These parameters should be further investigated and included in the sublimation rate estimation in the future
