    Bis(diethylamino)(pentafluorophenyl)phosphane – a Push–Pull Phosphane Available for Coordination

    A facile large-scale synthesis of the “push–pull”-substituted ligand bis(diethylamino)(pentafluorophenyl)phosphane is reported. A selenophosphorane as well as complexes with CuI and PdCl2, can be formed almost quantitatively from suitable starting materials. The PdII complex shows a square-planar coordination with significant distortions of the Cl–Pd–Cl moiety in the solid state. In contrast, the phosphane ligand exhibits a large flexibility in the trigonal-planar coordination of the Cu salt, as proven by X-ray crystallography. C–C cross-coupling reactions and 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions have been tested for the PdII and CuI complexes, respectively. Whereas the reactivity of the PdII complex is good at low temperature, the CuI complex reveals remarkable reaction rates at temperatures up to 130 °C. Furthermore, the CuI-catalyzed azide/alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition was successfully adapted for flow conditions

    Die vorliegende Masterarbeit gibt einen Überblick ĂŒber die Fachsprachlichkeit beim Polizeidolmetschen. Das Ziel dieser Forschung ist es herauszufinden, welche Fachsprachen fĂŒr das Dolmetschen im Zusammenhang mit polizeilichen Ermittlungen relevant sind und wie diese durch DolmetscherInnen bei ihren EinsĂ€tzen berĂŒcksichtigt werden. Um dieses Ziel zu erreichen, wurde die vorhandene Fachliteratur und relevante Studien in Bezug auf Fachsprache und Polizeidolmetschen ausgewertet. Des Weiteren wurden vier hauptberufliche DolmetscherInnen befragt. DafĂŒr wurde Terminologie dieser Fachsprachen, die Fachinhalte und die Herausforderungen fĂŒr DolmetscherInnen im Zusammenhang mit den Fachsprachen, die fĂŒr das Polizeidolmetschen benötigt werden, analysiert. Die Ergebnisse der Interviews zeigen, dass DolmetscherInnen zahlreiche Fachsprachen bei Ihren EinsĂ€tzen beherrschen mĂŒssen. Insbesondere der polizeilichen Fachsprache kommt dabei eine bedeutende Rolle zu. Die weiteren wichtigen Fachsprachen sind Recht und Medizin. Im Zuge der Arbeit wurde weiters dargestellt, welche Strategien und Techniken DolmetscherInnen anwenden, um diese Fachsprachen in ihrem Berufsleben abrufbar zu haben.This master's thesis provides an overview of the professional language used in police interpreting. The aim of this research is to find out which professional languages are relevant for interpreting in connection with police investigations and how these are taken into account by interpreters in their assignments. In order to achieve this goal, the existing specialist literature and relevant studies regarding professional language and police interpreting were evaluated. Four full-time interpreters were also interviewed. The terminology of these professional languages, the technical content and the challenges for interpreters in connection with the professional languages, that are required for police interpreting were analyzed. The results of the interviews show that interpreters have to master numerous professional languages during their assignments. Special police language plays here a particularly important role. The legal and medical languages are also important. In the course of the work, it was also shown which strategies and techniques interpreters use in order to have these special languages available in their professional lives

    (HFA)Cu . 1,5-COD as the prospective precursor for CVD-technologies : The electronic structure, thermodynamical properties and process of formation of thin copper films

    The properties of (HFA)Cu . l,5-COD complex, being the prospective CVD-precursor for thin copper films for microelectronics, were investigated by UV (He 1) photoelectron, X-ray fluorescent spectroscopy and mass-spectroscopy together with ab initio calculations in approximation of density functional theory. The detailed analysis of energy and structure of highest occupied MO'S of (HFA)Cu . 1,5-COD was carried out. The thermodynamical and kinetical parameters of thermolysis reaction for (HFA)Cu . l,5-COD were determined and discussed. The initial stages of growth of thin copper films on the basis of this precursor (Si3N4 substrates) were studied by high-resolution transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy
