    INTRA-OCEANIC ARCS OF THE PALEO-ASIAN OCEAN

    Intra-oceanic arcs (IOAs) form at Pacific-type convergent margins, in the upper “stable” plate, when the subducting plate submerges to the depths of melting, i.e., to ca. 50–100 km. A typical IOA system, such as Mariana-Bonin and the Philippines Sea, consists of subduction zone, fore-arc region with accretionary prism, frontal or active arc, marginal basin with spreading center, and, in some cases, one or more remnant arcs and inactive marginal basin.     Size effects in chlorine doped PbSe thin films

    The possibility of obtaining strongly degenerate (≈ 3·10²⁰ сm⁻³) PbSe thin films (d = 5 – 220 nm) with n-type conductivity by thermal evaporation in vacuum of PbSe crystals doped with PbCl₂, with subsequent condensation onto (001) KCl substrates was established. It was shown that the films had high homogeneity degree, no grain structure was observed. The thickness dependences of thermoelectric properties (the Seebeck coefficient S, the Hall coefficient RH and the electric conductivity σ) of thin films were obtained. In the thickness range d ≈ 5 ÷ 30 nm, oscillation properties were observed with growth of d that are attributable to electron gas quantization. The calculation of S(d) dependence on the assumption of size quantization with regard to contribution of several subbands and the thickness dependence of the Fermi energy was shown to be in agreement with the experimental data. In the region of d > 30 nm there was growth of S and σ with thickness, which is attributable to manifestation of classical size effect and interpreted in the framework of Fuchs-Sondheimer and Mayer theories

    Energy-efficient technologies in the educational programs of the architectural higher education schools

    The world trends in modern construction correspond to the ecological, rational design, according to "green" standards and applications of the building information modeling – BIM. Herein, we give a short review and some examples of Green, BIM technologies, in different countries. For more effective implementation of "green" building, it is necessary to introduce corresponding thematic in the higher education. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the articles, we described the competencies that a University Graduate must possess, for successful implementation in the industry AEC. Despite the absence of common methods, we developed a practice-oriented approach for teaching students Green BIM technologies and here integration these technologies into the educational process is considered. Some projects of energy-efficient objects, created by students of University of Architecture and Art, meeting requirements of "green" standards, are presented. © 2020, Budapest Tech Polytechnical Institution.     Радиомический анализ изображений в кардиологии: возможности перспективы применения: обзор литературы

    The majority of modern biomedical research is aimed at personifying the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases. An individual approach can be implemented using radiomics — the latest radiation diagnostics associated with the extraction of a large number (from hundreds to several thousand) of additional quantitative indicators from medical images using specialized software. The method is actively used in oncology to identify radiochemoresistant tumor zones, as well as non-invasive determination of the phenotype and genotype of the neoplasm. At the same time, the prospects for the application and clinical significance of this approach in cardiology have not yet been determined and have been the subject of active research in recent years. In this regard, the purpose of this review was to collect information from available databases and assess the degree of knowledge of the problem of radiomic analysis of heart images using various radiation modalities, as well as to determine the prospects for using this approach in clinical practice.Большинство современных биомедицинских исследований направлены на персонификацию диагностики и лечения различных заболеваний. Реализовать индивидуальный подход можно, используя радиомику — новейшее направление лучевой диагностики, связанное с извлечением большого количества (от сотен до нескольких тысяч) дополнительных количественных показателей из медицинских изображений, путем использования специализированного программного обеспечения. Метод активно используется в онкологии для выявления радио-химиорезистентных зон опухоли, а также неинвазивного определения фенотипа и генотипа новообразования. В то же время перспективы применения и клиническая значимость данного подхода в кардиологии до сих пор не определены и являются предметом активного исследования в последние годы. В связи с этим целью представленного обзора явился сбор информации из доступных баз данных и оценка степени изученности проблемы радиомического анализа изображений сердца при использовании различных лучевых модальностей, а также определение перспектив использования указанного подхода в клинической практике

    Методические рекомендации по оценке кровоснабжения грудины после операций на грудной клетке

    The method of estimation of the blood supply of the sternum by combined use of both single photon emission computed tomography and three-phased dynamic scintigraphy with 99mTc-methylene diphosphonate with determination of 99mTc-methylene diphosphonate sternal vis-à-vis vertebral uptake allows to carry out early diagnosis of the sternal hypoperfusion after operations on the chest wall and determine the postoperative osteomyelitis and mediastinitis risk groups in patients. By using of the method it is possible to keep forehanded prophylactic measures on prevention of development of the sternal osteomyelitis. The proposed method decreases the cost of the examination and radiation capacity on patient. The recommendations are designed for radiologists, cardiovascular and thoracic surgeons.Метод оценки кровоснабжения грудины при помощи сочетанного применения однофотонной эмиссионной компьютерной томографии и трехфазной динамической сцинтиграфии с 99mTc-метилен дифосфонатом с определением поглощения 99mTc-метилен дифосфоната грудиной по отношению к позвоночнику позволяет проводить раннюю диагностику гипоперфузии грудины после операций на грудной клетке и выявлять среди пациентов группы риска по развитию послеоперационного остеомиелита грудины и медиастинита. Благодаря предложенному способу можно своевременно проводить профилактические мероприятия, направленные на предотвращение развития остеомиелита грудины. Предлагаемый способ уменьшает стоимость исследования и лучевую нагрузку на пациента. Рекомендации предназначены для радиологов, сердечно-сосудистых и грудных хирургов

    Эффективность аскорбата лития на модели хронической алкогольной интоксикации

    The alcohol leads to deviant behavior in animals, increases aggression and irreversible degenerative changes in the liver and in the central nervous system. Lithium ascorbate in dose of 5 mg/kg, as well as higher doses (10 and 30 mg/kg), activates adaptive mechanisms normalizing behavioral responses in the tests «open field» and «elevated plus-maze». Histological analysis showed that lithium ascorbate minimize ischemic damage of neurocytes to a reversible state. In general, the use of lithium ascorbate contributes to relief of withdrawal symptoms, inhibited the occurrence of seizures and contributed to preservation of the function of the central nervous system in the model of chronic alcohol intoxication.Исследовано действие аскорбата лития на модели хронической алкогольной интоксикации. Воздействие алкоголя приводит к возникновению девиантного поведения у животных, повышает агрессию и вызывает необратимые дегенеративные изменения в печени и ЦНС. Аскорбат лития в дозе 5 мг/кг, как и в более высоких дозах (10 и 30 мг/кг), активирует адаптивные механизмы, нормализуя поведенческие реакции в тестах «открытое поле» и «приподнятый крестообразный лабиринт». Гистологический анализ показал, что использование аскорбата лития минимизировало уровень ишемического повреждения нейроцитов до уровня обратимого состояния. В целом, применение аскорбата лития способствует купированию абстинентного синдрома, блокирует возникновение судорог и способствует сохранности функции ЦНС в модели хронической алкогольной интоксикации
