    This research was aimed to study the effect of adding the enzyme phytasein the chicken diet to improve the status of protein and calcium as well as the ratio of heterophile lymphocytes in the chickens. This study was used a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. The parameters that are observed includes calcium in the blood, protein in blood and heterophile/lymphocyte ratio. The materials used are 128 broiler Day Old Chicks (DOC) strain MP202 with avarage weights 104,16+13,17g, of single food, water, medicines and vitamins. The results showed that there is no significant effect (P>0.05) of giving phytase enzyme in feed with different protein levels on the calcium in blood, but it shows significant effect on proteins and heterophile/lymphocyte ratio (P<0.05). The conclusions that the addition of phytase enzyme can improve the level of protein in the blood, and the ratio of heterophyl lymphocytes but does not affect the calcium in blood

    Dalam rangka peningkatan kinerja, pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Sanggau berusaha mengoptimalkan pendayagunaan teknologi informasi. Optimalisasi teknologi informasi dilakukan dengan mengembangkan sistem informasi manajemen yang ditujukan untuk meningkatkan penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik, meningkatkan kinerja, merumuskan kebijakan, dan pengambilan keputusan bagi pejabat publik, sehingga penyelenggaraan pemerintahan berjalan secara efektif dan efisien. Tujuan dan sasaran strategi ini adalah untuk mempercepat proses arus komunikasi dan distribusi informasi aset bergerak secara terintegrasi di lingkungan satuan kerja pemerintah daerah. Untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan maka diperlukan korelasi positif dari berbagai satuan kerja pemerintah daerah dengan keberhasilan dalam mencapai tahap pengembangan suatu kabupaten. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka perlu dilakukan analisis SWOT untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, ancaman, dan hambatan yang dimiliki, analisis RCA untuk mengidentifikasi potensi penyebab terjadinya masalah, analisis FFA merupakan salah satu alat analisis yang digunakan untuk menganalisis secara sistematis faktor-faktor yang ditemukan dalam masalah yang kompleks, analisis QSPM untuk memilih strategi yang tepat, dan menggambarkan DFD untuk menunjukkan usulan sistem informasi pembelian dan penghapusan aset. Hasil dari analisis system ini akan memberikan usulan Perubahan sistem informasi manajemen guna mempercepat proses birokrasi pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Sanggau. Sistem informasi manajemen merupakan salah satu solusi memperbaiki birokrasi untuk mencapai good governance

    Wireless network is a quite new technology in computer network world. It can connect computers without any wire, but it use radio frequency at 2.4 GHz. Today computer network still use wire to connected computers. Wireless is use the air medium, so there is different medium between wire and air. To connect these two medium networks we need other hardware. The hardware is called access point, but there is other problem comes. Access point price is quite expensive, so to handle this problem people were tried to look for another alternative. The alternative is use a personal computer with FreeBSD operating system, but it can\u27t simulate access point perfectly because access point is hardware. It doesn\u27t matter that can\u27t simulate perfectly because not all feature that access point have are use

    Elevated CO2 emissions during magmatic-hydrothermal degassing at Awu Volcano, Sangihe Arc, Indonesia

    Awu is a remote and little known active volcano of Indonesia located in the northern part of Molucca Sea. It is the northernmost active volcano of the Sangihe arc with 18 eruptions in less than 4 centuries, causing a cumulative death toll of 11,048. Two of these eruptions were classified with a Volcanic Explosivity Index (VEI) of 4. Since 2004, a lava dome has occupied the centre of Awu crater, channelling the fumarolic gas output along the crater wall. A combined Differential Optical Absorption Spectroscopy (DOAS) and Multi-component Gas Analyzer System (Multi-GAS) study highlight a relatively small SO2 flux (13 t/d) sustained by mixed magmatic–hydrothermal emissions made-up of 82 mol.% H2O, 15 mol.% CO2, 2.55 mol.% total S (ST) and 0.02 mol.% H2. The CO2 emission budget, as observed during a short observation period in 2015, corresponds to a daily contribution to the atmosphere of 2600 t/d, representing 1% of the global CO2 emission budget from volcanoes. The gas CO2/ST ratio of 3.7 to 7.9 is at the upper limit of the Indonesian gas range, which is ascribed to (i) some extent of S loss during hydrothermal processing, and perhaps (ii) a C-rich signature of the feeding magmatic gas phase. The source of this high CO2 signature and flux is yet to be fully understood; however, given the peculiar geodynamic context of the region, dominated by the arc-to-arc collision, this may result from either the prolonged heating of the slab and consequent production of carbon-rich fluids, or the recycling of crustal carbon

    The increase of water demand and wastewater generation is among the global concerns in the world. The less effective management of water sources leads to serious consequences, the direct disposal of untreated wastewater is associated with the environmental pollution, elimination of aquatic life and the spread of deadly epidemics. The flocculation process is one of the most important stages in water and wastewater treatment plants, wherein this phase the plankton, colloidal particles, and pollutants are precipitated and removed. Two major types of coagulants are used in the flocculation process included the chemical and natural coagulants. Many studies have been performed to optimize the flocculation process while most of these studies have confirmed the hazardous effects of chemical coagulants utilization on the ecosystem. This chapter reviews a summary of the coagulation/flocculation processes using natural coagulants as well as reviews one of the most effective natural methods of water and wastewater treatment

    Boomerang: Rebounding the consequences of reputation feedback on crowdsourcing platforms

    Paid crowdsourcing platforms suffer from low-quality workand unfair rejections, but paradoxically, most workers and requesters have high reputation scores. These inflated scores, which make high-quality work and workers difficult to find,stem from social pressure to avoid giving negative feedback. We introduce Boomerang, a reputation system for crowdsourcing that elicits more accurate feedback by rebounding the consequences of feedback directly back onto the person who gave it. With Boomerang, requesters find that their highly rated workers gain earliest access to their future tasks, and workers find tasks from their highly-rated requesters at the top of their task feed. Field experiments verify that Boomerang causes both workers and requesters to provide feedback that is more closely aligned with their private opinions. Inspired by a game-theoretic notion of incentive-compatibility, Boomerang opens opportunities for interaction design to incentivize honest reporting over strategic dishonesty
