This paper presents the experiences from the deterministic and probability analysis of the
reliability of communication bridge structure resistance due to extreme loads - wind and earthquake.
On the example of the steel bridge between two NPP buildings is considered the efficiency of the
bracing systems. The advantages and disadvantages of the deterministic and probabilistic analysis of
the structure resistance are discussed. The advantages of the utilization the LHS method to analyze
the safety and reliability of the structures is presented

This paper describes the nonlinear analysis of the reinforced concrete hermetic containment under an accidental temperature. The scenario of the hard accident in NPP and the methodology of the calculation of the failure temperature using the safety assessment are presented. The experimental and project material properties are taken into account in the safety assessment
CFD simulation of air flow over an object with gable roof, revised with Y+ approach
Aim of this contribution is to provide insight view into analysis focused on obtaining external pressure coefficients on isolated two storey low-rise building with 15° elevation gable roof using Computer Fluid Dynamics simulation and these are compared to values that offering Eurocodes. Final Volume Model consisting of polyhedral mesh will be used for analysis with two different turbulence models. Mesh was created with respect to y+ parameter, where desired value was below one which leads us to fine mesh type. Secondary aim of this contribution is to compare performance of selected turbulence models. For this purpose were chosen Detached Eddy Simulation and Large Eddy Simulation which are part of the Scale Resolving Simulation turbulence models

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou terorismu z pohledu vymezení terorismu, jeho historického vývoje, možných příčin, projevů a důsledků ve vztahu k bezpečnostnímu prostředí. V závěru práce se zaměřuji na problematiku forem terorismu a také na možné nástroje a spolupráci v boji proti jeho negativním vlivům.Thesis deals with terrorism and its context from the perspective of defining, historical evolution, potential causes and impacts of terrorism on security environment. The conclusion of thesis is focused on possible forms of terrorism and impacts on human society and possible means and collaboration in fight against terrorism.
Optimálny návrh ochrany haly reaktorovne pred pádom kontajnera s jadrovým palivom využitím simulačných metód
This paper presents of the optimal design of the damping devices cover of reactor hall under
impact of nuclear fuel container drop of type TK C30. The finite element idealization of nuclear
power plant structure is used in software ANSYS. The steel pipe damper system is proposed for
dissipation of the kinetic energy of the container free fall in comparison with the experimental results.
The probabilistic and sensitivity analysis of the damping devices was considered on the base of the

overený systém tlmičov bol navrhnutý z oceľových rúrok na pohltenie kinetickej energie od pádu
kontajnera. Pravdepodobnostná a citlivostná analýza tlmiaceho zariadenia bola realizovaná využitím
simulačných metód v programe AntHill s využitím metódy Monte Carl
Bezpečnosti JE na Slovensku z pohľadu záťažových testov po nehode vo Fukushimi
This paper presents the new requirements to test of the safety and reliability of the NPP
structures due to the last nuclear accidents in the world. The accidents of the NPP in Chernobyl and
Fukushima give us the new inspiration to verify the safety level of the NPP structures. The
probabilistic assessment of NPP structures for PSA level 2 of VVER 440 in the case of LOCA
accident is presented. The results of the probabilistic nonlinear analysis of the NPP structures are
presented.Článok sa zaoberá novými požiadavkami na testovanie bezpečnosti a spoľahlivosti konštrukcií
JE v dôsledku posledných jadrových nehôd vo svete. Havárie JE v Černobile a vo Fukushimi dávajú
nové inšpirácie pre verifikovanie úrovne bezpečnosti konštrukcií JE. Rozoberá sa pravdepodobnostná
metodológia konštrukcií JE pre PSA úrovne 2 reaktora VVER 440 v prípade havárie LOCA.

of calculation models and calculation methods for the probability analysis of the structural integrity
considering degradation effects and high internal overpressure. The uncertainties of the resistance and
