Empirical research of student leadership’s content parameters

The aim of this article was to perform a retrospective analysis and generalization of the content parameters of student leadership through an empirical study. Sociometric method and psychodiagnostic instruments were used to establish the values of student group leaders. Significant correlations between the studied leadership parameters were found. The sociometric status of student leaders was determined and their values were clarified. The stages and challenges of forming student leadership qualities were outlined. The model of the development of student leadership qualities was graphically constructed and substantiated. It was generalized that the empirical study of the content parameters of student leadership contains significant scientific facts that should be implemented in the educational process; the data can be useful to university administrations and student group curators

Теоретико-методологічна модель дауншифтингу як альтернативного ресурсу самореалізації успішної людини у вимірах суспільних трансформацій

The purpose of the research is to build a theoretical and methodological model, analyse, systematize and generalize the phenomenon of downshifting as an alternative resource of a person’s self-realization in the conditions of modern society. Methods. The methodology of the research consists of the interpretation of downshifting as a re-achievement of success in changed situations, taking into account a greater number of important conditions and factors. Results. It is stated that the attitude towards downshifters is ambiguous and causes many discussions, but it is important to understand that a person who dared to change their lifestyle may feel happy and self-fulfilled. It means success for this person. It was found that the difficult periods experienced by the modern generation, permanent reforms, the COVID-19 pandemic, then the war on the territory of Ukraine, and the unstable economic and political situation are the testing for social and moral values and a unique opportunity to rethink existence for the sake of positive changes in the future. A theoretical and methodological model of downshifting, which consists of such components as definitions; drives; approaches; forms; the types of people who choose to downshift and the unifying component of the model is operationalization has been built. All components have structural elements that reveal their main content parameters. Modern studies of the outlined problem are analyzed. Attention is focused on such a form of downshifting as an authentic Ukrainian variant. Representatives of the new movement – freegans – have been identified among the types of downshifters. It has been stated and proven that downshifting is a resource for the self-realization of a successful person, one of the options for getting out of a difficult life situation. Discussion and conclusions. It is summarized that the results of the research have significant scientific facts in the dimensions of a person’s self-realization, revealing their potential, and the success of a person in the dimensions of social transformations.Метою дослідження є побудова теоретико-методологічної моделі, аналізування, систематизація та узагальнення феномену дауншифтингу як альтернативного ресурсу самореалізації людини в умовах сучасного суспільства. Методи. Методологію дослідження склало тлумачення дауншифтингу як повторного досягнення успіху у змінених умовах з урахуванням більшої кількості важливих умов і чинників. Результати. Обґрунтовано, що ставлення до дауншифтерів є неоднозначним і викликає багато дискусій, але, важливо те, що людина, яка наважилася змінити спосіб життя, відчуває себе щасливою й самореалізованою, що і є проявом успіху. З’ясовано, що важкі часи, які переживає сучасне покоління, перманентні реформи, пандемія COVID-19, потім активні бойові дії на території України, нестабільна економічна та політична обстановка є випробуванням для суспільних та моральних цінностей і унікальною можливістю на переосмислення буття заради позитивних змін у майбутньому. Побудовано теоретико-методологічну модель дауншифтингу, яка складається з таких компонентів, як дефініції; мотиви; підходи; форми; типи людей, які обирають дауншифтинг і об’єднуючий компонент моделі – операціоналізація. Усі компоненти мають структурні елементи, які розкривають їхні основні змістові параметри. Проаналізовано сучасні дослідження окресленої проблеми. Сфокусовано увагу на такій формі дауншифтингу як автентичний український варіант. Серед типів дауншифтерів визначено представників нового руху – фріганів. Констатовано і доказано, що дауншифтинг є ресурсом самореалізації успішної людини, одним із варіантів виходу зі складної життєвої ситуації. Дискусія і висновки. Узагальнено, що результати дослідження мають значущі наукові факти у вимірах самореалізації особистості, розкриття її потенціалу, успішності людини у вимірах суспільних трансформацій

Structural and functional model of the successful person training in USA colleges and universities

The purpose of the article is to study the training of a successful person in the colleges and universities of the USA as a holistic process and to create a structural and functional model. The methods of retrospective analysis, systematization and generalization, abstraction and specification, modeling and graphic visualization are applied. A structural and functional model of successful person training in colleges and universities of the USA has been created. The focus groups of this process have been defined, in which the work is aimed at applicants, first-year students, second-fourth years students and a special category - students of the last year and graduates, as a significant part of students do not complete their studies on time. Examples of effective use of models and strategies of student training by American institutions of higher education are given. Five stages of successful person training in American institutions of higher education are proposed. It is summarized that the created structural and functional model is the basis for creating a strategy for the development of an educational institution and will contribute to the high-quality organization of the training of specialists in colleges and universities

Конвергентні процеси на фінансовому ринку зумовили появу і розвиток нових форм взаємодії між фондовим ринком, страховим ринком та банківським сектором. Одним із основних напрямків конвергенції сегментів фінансового ринку є використання механізму сек’юритизації для рефінансування банківських активів та зобов’язань страхових компаній за договорами страхування катастрофічних ризиків. В статті проведено порівняльний аналіз двох принципових форм сек’юритизації, досліджено поточний рівень розвитку сек’юритизації в Україні та здійснено оцінку потенціалу вітчизняного фондового ринку як одного з основних факторів розвитку сек’юритизації банківських активів та страхових зобов’язань.The convergence processes in the financial market have led to the emergence and development of new forms of interaction between the stock market, the insurance market and the banking sector. One of the main areas of convergence of the financial market segments is the use of securitization mechanism for refinancing of bank assets and liabilities of insurance companies under the contracts of catastrophic risks insurance. The paper conducts a comparative analysis of the two principal forms of securitization, studies the current level of securitization development in Ukraine and assesses the potential of the domestic stock market as one of the main growth factors for the securitization of banking assets and insurance liabilities
