ADATOK A DÉL-BALATONI HALASTAVAK ÉS BERKEK VÍZIMADÁR FAJAINAK SZAPORULATÁRÓL = WATERBIRD SPECIES REPRODUCTION DATA OF THE FISHPONDS AND MARSHES AT SOUTH BALATON

Breeding waterbird surveys have been carried out on the fishpond and marshe s at South Balaton between 2007 and 2014. In this paper the reproduction data of seven species were presented. Detailed data of Greylag Goose ( Anser anser ) ( Table 1 – 3 ) and Pochard ( Aythya ferina ) ( Table 4 ) are given , while o nly few data of Red - crested Pochard ( Netta rufina ) ( Table 5 ), Great Crested Grebe ( Podiceps cristatus ) ( Table 6 ), Ferruginous Duck ( Aythya nyroca ), Little Grebe ( Tachybaptus ruficollis ) and Coot ( Fulica atra ) are included

A vízimadarak költőállományáról viszonylag kevés pontos hazai információ áll rendelkezésre. A felmérések és a publikált eredmények jellemzően vonuló - és telelőállományokra vonatkoznak. A fészkelők felmérése kétségtelenül nehezebb és időigényesebb feladat, ráadásul fajcsoportonként, fajonként változhat a felmérés módszertana. A bütykös hattyú balatoni fészkelőállományának felméréséről már korábban írtunk ( K OVÁCS & S ZINAI , 2015). Jelen dolgozatban a költési és túlélési sikerre vonatkoz óan szeretném bemutatni a vizsgálataink eredményeit

Küszvágó csér (Sterna hirundo) előfordulások a Balaton déli partjánál, és költése az Irmapusztai-halastavakon

The Common Tern ( Sterna hirundo ) is one of the characteristic bird species of Lake Balaton. Breeding colonies were described formerly from fishponds in Fonyód and Irmapuszta. Currently, the most numerous breeding populations can be found at the Kis-Balaton reservoir. In 2007 74 breeding pairs were recorded at the fishponds at Irmapuszta, which is about 40 percent of the recognized breeding pairs at Lake Balaton and its surroundings and 6-10 percent of the total breeding pairs in Hungary
