Localization of Interacting Fields in Five-Dimensional Braneworld Models
We study localization properties of fundamental fields which are coupled to
one another through the gauge mechanism both in the original Randall-Sundrum
(RS) and in the modified Randall-Sundrum (MRS) braneworld models:
scalar-vector, vector-vector, and spinor-vector configuration systems. For this
purpose we derive conditions of localization, namely the finiteness of
integrals over the extra coordinate in the action of the system considered. We
also derive field equations for each of the systems and then obtain their
solutions corresponding to the extra dimension by a separation of variable
method for every field involved in each system. We then insert the obtained
solutions into the conditions of localization to seek whether or not the
solutions are in accordance with the conditions of localization. We obtain that
not all of the configuration systems considered are localizable on the brane of
the original RS model while, on the contrary, they are localizable on the MRS
braneworld model with some restrictions. In terms of field localizability on
the brane, this result shows that the MRS model is much better than the
original RS model.Comment: 20 pages revtex4. No figures. Published in IJMP
Dynamical symmetry breaking of SU(6) GUT in 5-dimensional spacetime with orbifold S1/Z2
The symmetry breaking of 5-dimensional SU(6) GUT into 4-dimensional SU(3) x
SU(3) x U(1) with orbifold S1/Z2 through Scherk-Schwarz mechanism is
investigated. It is shown that the origin of Little Higgs can be generated to
further break SU(3) x SU(3) x U(1) down to the electroweak scale through Higgs
mechanism.Comment: 4 page
Proton decay in 5D SU(6) GUT with orbifold S^1/Z_2 breaking in Scherk-Schwarz mechanism
Proton decay within 5-dimensional SU(6) GUT with orbifold S^1/Z_2 breaking is
investigated using Scherk-Schwarz mechanism. It is shown that in the model
neither leptoquark like heavy gauge bosons nor violation of baryon number
conservation are allowed due to the orbifold breaking parity splitting. These
results prevent too short proton lifetime within the model.Comment: 6 pages, Proceeding of the Conference in Honour of Murray Gell-Mann's

Komunikasi Organisasi dalam Pengembangan Kinerja Pengurus Gapoktan pada Program Penguatan Lembaga Distribusi Pangan Masyarakat (Kasus pada Gapoktan di Kabupaten Subang dan Kabupaten Bogor)
Gapoktan, stands for gabungan kelompok tani, farmers group union, is a farmer economical institution, consists of several farmer\u27s group have specific characteristics, that an effective organizational communication is needed. The creation of good organizational communication, communication climate Gapoktan expected to be better communication and communication satisfaction of Gapoktan\u27s committee members will be met, so Gapoktan more competitive and high performance. The objective of study are: (1) to identify the characteristic of the Gapoktan\u27s committee members, (2) to analyze the communication climate, (3) to analyze the communication satisfaction, (4) to the relationship between oganizational communication of performance development of the Gapoktan\u27s committee members and communication climate; and correlationship between communication climate and communication satisfaction. The results showed that: (1) Gapoktan\u27s committee members are having productive; they have elementary school level of formal education; they have relatively high level of non formal education, (2) most of the Gapoktan have highly communication climate, (3) most of the Gapoktan committee members have highly satisfaction in communication, (4) there is higly significant correlation between oganizational communication of performance development of the Gapoktan\u27s committee members and communication climate; and there is higly significant correlation between communication climate and communication satisfaction
Deep Venous Reconstruction: A Case Series
Objectives This study aims to review a case series of deep venous reconstruction procedures performed at one centre by a single consultant. Methods A retrospective review of deep venous reconstruction procedures performed by a single consultant from 1994 to 2013 was carried out and all notes were reviewed for outcomes. A 58-month cumulative patency rate was calculated using Kaplan-Meier survival analysis. Results Nineteen patients underwent deep venous reconstruction procedures including the Palma bypass, May-Husni bypass, femoral vein transposition and axillary vein transplant techniques from 1994 to 2013. Eleven patients were male and eight were female with a mean average age of 45.2 years (range 29-63). Clinical severity of disease ranged from C3 to C6, and 16 patients had a confirmed history of deep vein thrombosis. Cumulative primary patency rate for all reconstructions at 58 months was 89.5%, with two patients occluding and 17 remaining patent at last follow-up. Conclusion Deep venous reconstructions, particularly the Palma and May-Husni procedures, are feasible and can have good outcomes in patients failed by endovascular techniques and other more conservative therapies
