    Prototype of vision-based driver assistant

    Cílém této práce je vytvořít prototyp silničního asistenta s použitím vizuální detekce. Video z dopředu orientované kamery je zpracováno algoritmem založeným na Houghově transformaci a Kalmanově filtru. Prototyp je schopen rozpoznat pozici silničního pruhu a zobrazit varování v případě, že se řidič blíží ke kraji pruhu. Aplikace pro mobilní telefony byla dále vytvořena na základě tohoto prototypu.The goal of this thesis is to develop a prototype of the vision-based driver assistant. The prototype use an image sequence from a front-mounted camera as the input that is processed via algorithm based on Hough Transform and Kalman filter. The position of the current lane is determined and warning is displayed in case of the lane departure. Additionally, an application for mobile phones is created based on the prototype

    The possibilities of utilising the skiddometer T2GO for forensic engineering

    The aim of the paper is to verify the applicability of the T2GO skiddometer for measuring the coefficient of friction for forensic practice in accordance with the legislative framework of the Czech Republic. In the introduction, the article discusses the problem of friction coefficient measurement. The results of the comparison with dynamic measuring devices used in the Czech Republic and the determination of the mutual compliance rate with these devices, based on data obtained within the National Comparative Measurement Action, are presented. The article concludes with an interpretation and discussion of the results. In cases where no sufficient mutual compliance was found, an analysis and reasoning of these results is provided. Last but not least, based on the results, a procedure is proposed for future use of the T2GO skiddometer in practice within the legislative conditions of the Czech Republic

    Diplomová práce znázorňuje možnosti využití softwaru SinuTrain při programování CNC obráběcích strojů na součásti Cukřenka. Nejprve je stručně zařazen řídicí systém Sinumerik 840D – ShopTurn mezi ostatní řídicí systémy. Následně je zpracována technologická příprava výroby pro dvě varianty řešení. Pro variantu výroby z přířezu tyčového polotovaru 160 mm a pro variantu výroby z předem připraveného odlitku. V softwaru SinuTrain 6.3 – ShopTurn Open V 6.4 jsou vytvořeny NC programy pro výrobu součásti Cukřenka obou technologických variant výroby. Obě technologické varianty řešení jsou mezi sebou porovnány v technicko-ekonomickém zhodnocení, ze kterého vychází výhodnější varianta výroby z předem připraveného odlitku při výrobě více než 50-ti kusů Cukřenek.This thesis illustrates the potential use of software SinuTrain for programming CNC machine tools on the component Sugar Bowl. First of all, Sinumerik 840D control system - ShopTurn is briefly positioned among other control systems. Subsequently, the technological preparation of production is processed for the two alternatives. The first one is production version from the rod blank 160 mm and the second one is production variant from a pre-cast. NC programs are created for the production of components of both technological options of Sugar Bowl in the software SinuTrain 6.3 - 6.4 V Open ShopTurn. The variants of technological solutions are compared with each other in the technical-economic evaluation. The pre-cast variant is better for manufacturing more than 50 pieces of the Sugar Bowls.

    Physical properties of meteorites and their role in planetology Tomáš Kohout Together with cosmic spherules, interplanetary dust particles and lunar samples returned by Apollo and Luna missions, meteorites are the only source of extraterrestrial material on Earth. They represent samples of various space bodies from asteroids to other planets. Some are remains of parent bodies, which completely disintegrated during giant collisions and no longer exist in the Solar System. The physical properties of meteorites, especially their magnetic susceptibility, bulk and grain density and porosity, have wide applications in meteorite research such as meteorite classification, studies of their origin, level of terrestrial weathering, shock history and in the estimation of the physical appearance oťtheir parent bodies - asteroids. For example, the comparison of a meteorite's density, porosity or magnetic susceptibility to that of a compositionally similar asteroid may reveal its internal structure. For such purposes, an expanded database of meteorite physical properties was compiled with new measurements done in meteorite collections across Europe using a mobile laboratory facility. Zahrnuji vzorky zrizných kosmických těles od asteroidů po cizíplanety. Některé meteority jsou pozůstatky po kolizi jejich mateřských těles, která jiŽ dávno neexistují. FyzlkáIni vlastnosti meteoritů, zvláště magnetická susceptibilita, objemová a mineralogická hustota a pórovitost, mají širokéuplatnění v meteoritice, jako při klasifikaci meteoritů, studiu jejich vzniku, pozemského zvětrávání, šokových změnách a při studiu fyzikálních vlastností jejich mateřských těles _ asteroidů.     Design of a network of cycling routes in the Kutná Hora district

    Cycling is a dynamically expanding transport mode of today. At the same time, cycling is an alternative to individual car transport as well as to public transport. The basis of a good cycling infrastructure is a comprehensive network of safe cycling routes linking transport sources and destinations in the area. The partial objectives of the project are to evaluate the management of the existing cycle routes according to the way cyclists are guided and according to the surface of the individual route sections, as well as to determine the basic sources and destinations. The main objectives of the project are to design a network of bicycle routes with a focus on keeping them separate from motorized traffic and linking the identified resources and destinations, as well as determining thedifficulty of each newly proposed route

    Dynamic tests of the protective and security barrier system probar

    The purpose of this paper is to present a series of dynamic tests for testing the protective and security barrier of the PROBAR system, developed by STRIX Chomutov, a.s., according to the PAS 68:2013 standard. The goal of the tests was to assess how the obstacle resist impacts and whether it can absorb the energy exerted on it. Verification of the mechanical properties of the device was performed in two types of impact configurations. Emphasis was placed on the behaviour of both the obstacle and the vehicle during the impact and in the short time interval after the collision. In terms of criteria for evaluating the impact tests, it can be stated that Test 2 exceeded the Theoretical Head Impact Velocity (THIV) criterion by 20 km h−1, while Test 1 did not exceed the limit value. However, all values for other criteria (ASI, PHD, HIC, 3ms) were within the specified limits, and the safety barrier met the required criteria which allows to be certificated

    This conference paper discusses a new analytical approach to the evaluation of traffic safety at the railway crossings. The new method is based on the use of ontological principles. The ontological tools present a comprehensive decision-making tool, will can be applied to any potential hazardous railway crossing on a road or rail network. The ontology can be considered as a knowledge base that not only stores the data itself, but also defines the relationships between these data, and can therefore be described as a clearly suitable tool for describing risks at level crossings
