    In the article the method of construction of the algorithm for finding the free terms of the canonical equations of the force method for adjusted calculating the single-span hinged-cantilever and simply supported Ibeams with asymmetrical cross-section with the t-number of “anti-torsional connections” is enclosed. At the same time the given system is divided into a range of bands composing it (the basic system) and operation of each band is considered separately. It is shown that for appropriateness of separate consideration of each of these bands it is necessary to apply unknown efforts of interaction to their adjoining edges, which substitute for the influence of discarded parts

    The neural cell adhesion molecule binds to fibroblast growth factor receptor 2

    AbstractThe neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM) can bind to and activate fibroblast growth factor receptor 1 (FGFR1). However, there are four major FGFR isoforms (FGFR1–FGFR4), and it is not known whether NCAM also interacts directly with the other three FGFR isoforms. In this study, we show by surface plasmon resonance analysis that NCAM can bind to FGFR2 with an affinity similar to that for the NCAM–FGFR1 interaction. However, the kinetic parameters for the NCAM–FGFR2 binding are different from those of the NCAM–FGFR1 binding. Both receptors were shown to cycle relatively fast between the NCAM bound and unbound states, although FGFR2 cycling was clearly faster (13 times) than the FGFR1 cycling. Moreover, ATP was more effective in inhibiting the binding of NCAM to FGFR1 than to FGFR2, indicating that the binding sites in NCAM for the two receptors are similar, but not identical

    AbstractFibroblast growth factor (FGF) receptor (FGFR) consists extracellularly of three immunoglobulin (Ig) modules (Ig1–3). Currently, there are two competing models (symmetric and asymmetric) of the FGF–FGFR–heparin complex based on crystal structures. Indirect evidence exists in support of both models. However, it is not clear which model is physiologically relevant. Our aim was to obtain direct, non-crystallographic evidence in support of them. We found by nuclear magnetic resonance that Ig2 could bind to FGF1 not only via the primary site (present in both models), but also via the secondary site (present only in the symmetric model). Thus, our data support the symmetric model

    COMPARISON OF ACE INHIBITOR (FOSINOPRIL) AND Β-ADRENOBLOCKER (ATENOLOL) EFFECTS ON AUTONOMIC REGULATION OF THE HEART IN PATIENTS WITH ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION

    Aim. To estimate effects of fosinopril and atenolol on autonomic regulation of heart in patients with arterial hypertension (HT) on the basis of spectral characteristics of heart rate variability (HRV).Material and methods. 49 patients (46±7 y.o.) with untreated or inadequately treated HT without end organ damages and associated clinical conditions were involved in the study. Heart rhythm was registered during passive orthostatic test with spontaneous breath within 10 min for each stage of the test. HRV was estimated by parametrical method based on autoregression model. Frequency power of HRV spectrum (ms2 ) in high-frequency (HF: 0,15-0,4 Hz) and low-frequency (LF: 0,04-0,15 Hz) ranges was calculated as well as the total power of a spectrum (ТР).Results. Fosinopril and atenolol reduced in blood pressure levels similarly, atenolol as well reduced in heart rate. Fosinopril and atenolol changed power of LF-range in comparable decreasing manner in upright position. Fosinopril therapy resulted in the same changes with power of HF-range. Atenolol increased power of HF-range in horizontal position and had no effect in upright position. There were not dynamic in TP during treatments.Conclusion. Fosinopril and atenolol have similar effects on the central mechanisms of autonomic heart regulation and HRV, though atenolol effect on sympathetic-parasympathetic balance is more prominent

    The given paper contains an analysis and presents a generalization of experimental results pertaining to heat exchange between an air flow and a surface of a flat pipe when its finning is made with various values of displacement of a tool rotation axis relative to a symmetry axis of a blank.Criterion dependences obtained as result of experimental data generalization provide the possibility to use them for calculation of external heat exchange intensity and losses of pressure in heat exchangers made of aluminum flat fined tubes.Проведен анализ и представлено обобщение результатов экспериментальных исследований теплообмена между потоком воздуха и поверхностью плоской трубы, оребрение которой было выполнено с различными величинами смещения оси вращения инструмента относительно оси симметрии заготовки.Полученные в результате обобщения экспериментальных данных критериальные зависимости дают возможность использовать их при проведении расчетов интенсивности внешнего теплообмена и потерь давления в теплообменниках, изготовленных из плоских оребренных алюминиевых труб
