In education world, learner is a part of learning process. He or she should be guided as he or she is the object and subject that needs guidance from others to be ready to be a man or woman with strong faith and good morals for himself or herself, his or her teachers and others. A learner who has a noble character will also be able to realize the norms and values that will positively affect him or her to succed in the process of learning and teaching. With the existence of this character, he or she can tell which is good and which is not. This is very important because the moral issue is now spreading to the learners, they prefer to do things that are not good for teachers and others. IMPLEMENTATION OF CHARACTER EDUCATION ON STUDENTS’ HONESTY IN STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL KALIBOYO BATANG
This study aimed to determine the implementation of character education on students’ honesty and find its supporting and inhibiting factors. The method used was quantitative descriptive. The research participants were 32 students from classes V and VI of State Elementary School Kaliboyo, selected using purposive sampling. The instruments were an observation sheet and a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using quantitative analysis. The results indicated that character education in fostering students’ honesty used several indicators, such as the teachers reminding students not to cheat, reporting school activities transparently, and having an honest student recruitment system. Habituation also needed to implement, such as the habituation of 6R (Concise, Clean, Neat, Diligent, Caring, and Friendly), the habituation of 5S (Smile, Greetings, Greetings, Polite, and Courtesy), and donating habituation. Besides, the factors that influenced the implementation of character education in fostering the honesty of State Elementary School Kaliboyo were teachers as role models, students themselves, guardians/family, and the school discipline system. At the same time, the inhibiting factor was unsupporting environments.Sekolah adalah lembaga paling depan dalam mengembangkan pendidikan karakter. Sekolah memiliki tanggung jawab moral untuk mendidik anak agar cerdas dan memiliki karakter baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam membina kejujuran siswa di SD Negeri Kaliboyo 01 Kec. Tulis Kab. Batang. Untuk mengetahui apa saja faktor pendukung serta penghambat implikasi pendidikan karakter dalam membina kejujuran siswa di SD Negeri Kaliboyo 01 Kec. Tulis Kab. Batang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian lapangan sedangkan pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis Reduksi Data dan Verifikasi Kesimpulan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam membina kejujuran siswa di SD Negeri Kaliboyo 01 Kec. Tulis Kab. Batang menggunakan beberapa indikator keberhasilan nilai kejujuran yang dapat dikembangkan di sekolah meliputi, membuat dan mengerjakan tugas secara benar, tidak menyontek atau memberikan contekkan, program koperasi kejujuran dan kotak temuan/kejujuran, melaporkan kegiatan sekolah secara benar dan jujur, dan melakukan sistem penilaian yang akuntabel dan tidak melakukan manipulasi dalam pengembangan kurikulum sekolah. Dan beberapa program, diantaranya Pembiasaan budaya 6 R (Ringkas, Resik, Rapi, Rajin, Rawat dan Ramah), pembiasaan program 5 S (Senyum, Salam, Sapa, Sopan dan Santun), sholat duhur berjamaah dan infak sosial siswa
Pandangan Ibnu Hazm Al-Andalusi tentang Etika Religius dan Aktualisasinya dalam Pendidikan
This present study aims to describe the religious ethics and its actualization in today’s education system according to Ibn Hazm. A qualitative approach was employed in this library research. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data that were collected by using documentation. The data were analyzed by using content analysis and historical analysis. This findings demonstrate that according to Ibn Hazm, religious ethics are based on the Qur’an and Hadith. It tends to solve the complication of “dialectic” and focus on the effort in spreading the spirit of Islamic morality directly. This study also promote that several life problems that caused by globalization can be handled by using the principles of religious ethics offered by Ibn Hazm
Pengaruh Pengetahuan Investasi, Motivasi Investasi Dan Teknologi Informasi Pada Minat Berinvestasi Saham Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi Kasus Pada Mahasiswa FEB UNISMA)
AbstractThe COVID-19 pandemic began to be detected in Indonesia in March 2020, which had a negative impact on various aspects of life. Like; education, office work, business transactions to investment in the capital market. However, with all the negative impacts and limitations during the Covid-19 pandemic, it has actually increased the number of investors in the capital market. By utilizing information technology, securities companies provide facilities in accessing information about investments and transactions with the aim of making it easier for students like students to invest. With such situations and conditions, it is hoped that it will increase student interest in investing. So the reason for this research is to find out how far the influence of investment science, investment motivation, and information technology on the investment interest of FEB UNISMA students. The research technique used in this research is quantitative, with the type of research being a description of the data obtained through questionnaires. The notes obtained from the questionnaire were then processed into SPSS usage with a sample of 85 students The data obtained were then processed and tested for validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, heteroscedasticity, then F test and t test and R2 test using SPSS V26. The results of these observations show that investment knowledge has an impact on student investment interest, investment motivation has an impact on student investment interest, and information technology has an impact on student investment interest. Keywords:. Multikulturalisme dalam Karya Ulama Nusantara
This study discusses form and dimensions of a text regarding multiculturalism concept in the ulama books of the 20th century, how the text was produced and consumed by the community, and the sociocultural praxis contained in it. The collected data were analyzed by using descriptive method and content analysis. The results of this study show that multiculturalism discourses written by Indonesian Ulama include: appreciation of Javanese language locality, gender equality, respect for the diversity of local economic potentials, the importance of national unity and counter to the negative stigma of Indonesian archipelago. At the level of text, multiculturalism discourses are written in the form of nadham and natsar (prose), and the language variety ​​used is Arabic pegon script. In the case of social praxis, multicultural values ​​are divided into two, namely social and religious discourse. The social discourse discusses social problems, equality, the importance of respecting differences as well as loving the motherland, while the religious discourse describes some problems developed in the society. In this case, the religious proposition is used as a basis for strengthening as well as elaborating the muticulturalism values
Internalization of Faith and Piety Values in the Formation of Personality Through Contemporary Science Learning
Adolescents are in a transitional period where they seek their identity. Their thoughts and stances are constantly changing. If teenagers get good guidance from adults, they will become valuable people for themselves and their environment. Otherwise, they will be in doubt. Eventually, they will fall into a negative direction that will harm them. The purpose of this study is to explain the internalization of the values of faith and piety in the formation of personality through learning contemporary science. This research was conducted using a descriptive-analytic method with a quantitative approach. While the data collection steps used in this study were interviews, participatory observation, documentation studies, and questionnaires, The results of this study indicate that the teacher's efforts to internalize the values of faith and piety in the formation of student personality at Al Azhar 5 Islamic High School in Cirebon City through modern science learning, which includes praying before and after learning, reciting the Koran for 15 minutes the first hour before teaching and learning activities, and linking the subject matter to the content of faith and piety (imtaq), are categorized as very good based on student response data obtained by 82.2%. The obstacles faced by teachers in internalizing the values of faith and piety in the formation of students' personalities at SMA Islam Al Azhar 5 in Cirebon City through modern science learning include the lack of understanding of some teachers of non-Islamic religious education subjects in linking subjects with faith and piety
