    Strain-gradient effect on the crack tip dislocations density

    In this study, the influence of a material’s plastic properties on the crack tip fields and dislocation density behavior is analytically and numerically analyzed using the conventional mechanism-based strain-gradient plasticity (CMSGP) theory established using the Taylor model. The material constitutive equation is implemented in a commercial finite element code by a user subroutine, and the crack tip fields are evaluated with novel parameters in the form of the intrinsic material length, characterizing the scale over which gradient effects become significant. As a consequence of the strain-gradient contribution, FE results show a significant increase in the magnitude of the stress fields of CMSGP when the material length parameter is considered. It is found that the density of geometrically necessary dislocations (GND) is large around the crack tip, but it rapidly decreases away from the crack tip. On the contrary, the density of statistically stored dislocations (SSD) is not as large as geometrically necessary dislocations around the crack tip, but it decreases much slower than GND away from the crack tip. A couple effect of material work hardening and the crack tip distance is identified

    On measures of social support for large families (on the example of Orenburg region)

    The relevance of the study is determined by the logic of the development of post-Soviet Russia and the special significance of the search for optimal methods and ways to implement social policy. The main objective of the article is to analyse the measures of social support for large families at the regional level. The study is based on comparative-functional, institutional and systemic methods that allow characterising and determining the significance of social support measures for families after the birth of a third child. The complex application of these methods enables understanding of the functional and dynamic features of measures of social support for large families at the regional and local levels. The main results of the study led to conclusion that social poli cy is one of the priority areas in the activities of the Russian state. It was revealed that large families occupy an important place in solving demographic problems, since the total birth rate is largely determined by the birth of a second and subsequent children in Russian families. It is demonstrated that active work is being carried out at the regional level in order to implement the privilege legislation of the Russian Federation to provide social support to large families. At the same time, there is a gap between the possibilities of various regions and local self-governments. It has been established that the implementation of social policy by the Ministry of Social Development of the Orenburg Region is carried out on the basis of the effective use of the financial resources of the federal and regional budgets in accordance with the obligations taken and the real possibilities for their implementation. Decline in the birth rate due to the outbreak of coronavirus infection is identified as the main social problem. Analysis of the information carried out in the course of the study indicates that significant financial support from the federal level is required. The study substantiates the necessity of the development and the legislative approval of additional measures of social support for large families both at the federal and regional levels, as well as expansion of the use of business opportunities, social partnerships and public formations.</p

    Integrated effect of atmosphere pollution and cutting on seed production of dandelion (Taraxacum officinale Wigg.) urban populations

All rights reserved.We considered the influence of air pollution by road transport on the total number of seeds, seed weight and the formation of seeds able to germinate in the inflorescences of Taraxacum officinale Wigg cut off on the fourth day after flowering, and in the inflorescences formed on the parent plant. The monotonous dependence dose-response is characteristic for the seeds developed on the parent plant. The dependencies of other seed production indicators from air pollution intensity by motor traffic are nonmonotonic ones, which can be attributed to the paradoxical effects that appear brighter in the inflorescences cut off on the fourth day after flowering. The intensity of seed germination, formed on the mother plant, is also difficult and depends nonmonotonically on the degree of atmosphere contamination, but the seeds with the weight less than 0.25 mg are not developed. A significant influence on the relationship between the weight of seeds and their germination is made by negative impact factor duration. At the same weight (0,39 ± 0,02 mg) the maximum germination of the option “cut off florets” and a minimum one for the version “ripened on parent plant”. At the same time a lot of seeds correlated with their germination differently. For the seeds ripened in the cut off inflorescences R2 = 0.80 (p = 0.00027), and for the seeds ripened on the parent plant R2 = 0.55 (p = 0.008). The critical mass of viable seeds for their germination in cut off inflorescences made 0.23 ± 0.007 mg, which is 10% more than a certain critical mass of Taraxacum officinale seeds stated earlier

    Thermal properties of epoxy–anhydride formulations cured using phosphonium accelerators

Influence of structure of epoxy resin and anhydride hardener, as well as type and content of accelerator on thermal properties of epoxy–anhydride networks were investigated by dynamic mechanical analysis (DMA). The experimental values of molecular weight between crosslinks (Mc) in the epoxy polymers were determined. Influence of the catalyst on defect structure of the polymer network was observed. The use of two phosphonium salts as curing accelerators to a greater extent than 2-methylimidazole allows fabricating polymers with a higher crosslink density. The concentration dependence of polymer’s thermal properties was studied and the optimum content of the accelerator giving the network with improved properties was determined

    The article describes the process of creating a web application “Task Manager”. The development uses modern web tools. Directly, in the article itself, a complete analysis of the writing of the simplest task manager is carried out using the full list of modern technologies. Which include client and server side technologies. The server side will use the full server language stack, in our case php, and work with the mysql database using the popular Laravel framework. In turn, the client side will include asynchronous work (without reloading the page) with the server side, using the javascript framework – VueJs. The full stack of technologies involved will be as follows: The client side – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, VueJs, and the server side – php, Mysql, Laravel. Also, there will be a brief acquaintance with the dependency manager php-composer. Which has the ability to download empty primary files to run a project.Purpose. Create a modern web application.Methodology. The article used information technology methods at the time of creating the application.Results. The most informative methods for creating web applications based on a complete asynchronous approach are obtained.Practical implications. The results obtained should be used in the creation of any web projects.В статье рассматривается процесс создания веб приложения «Менеджер задач». В разработке используются современные веб инструменты. Непосредственно, в самой статье ведется полный разбор написания простейшего менеджера задач, с использованием полного перечня современных технологий.     Estimation of kinetic parameters for curing of epoxy-anhydride compositions by DSC

The kinetics of the curing process of epoxy resin (ED-22) in the presence of the anhydride hardeners (iso-methyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride, hexahydrophthalic anhydride, and dodecylsuccinic anhydride) and accelerators (2-methyl imidazole and n-butyltriphenylphosphonium bromide) has been investigated by DSC method in the dynamic mode. Processing of experimental DSC thermograms recorded at different heating rates was carried out within the frameworks of isoconvertional analysis in two versions, namely "model-free" method of Friedman and the Ozawa—Flynn—Wall method. The possibility to describe the kinetics of epoxy compositions curing in the frameworks of one-step autocatalytic reaction model has been demonstrated. Obtained kinetic parameters were used to predict the curing kinetics under isothermal conditions and for comparative analysis of the compositions

    Numerical simulation of a one-phase steady flow towards a multistage fractured horizontal well

This paper presents a 3D mathematical model and its numerical implementation for a one-phase flow around a multistage fractured horizontal well with transverse fractures. The flows in the reservoir and in the fractures are governed by the Darcy’s law and were simulated separately. The problem was approximated by the finite volume method. The obtained systems of linear equations for the reservoir and the fractures were solved simultaneously, which allowed us to avoid the use of iterative process for solution adjustment both in the fractures and the reservoir. We investigated various techniques and proposed an optimal variant for solving ill-conditioned systems of linear equations appearing due to the grid approximation of the continuous mathematical flow model.     Waterflooding simulation of reservoir containing horizontal well stimulated by multistage hydraulic fracturing

The flow in the reservoir and in the fractures is simulated separately, and the flow rate is governed by Darcy's law. Finite volume method is used for spatial approximation. The obtained systems of linear equations for pressure in the reservoir and in the fractures are solved simultaneously, which allows us to avoid using iterative process for solution adjustment both in the fractures and the reservoir.
