Execution of replication in heterogeneous database systems

Database replication is a mechanism which allows distributed databases stay in synchronized and consistent state. In heterogeneous case there is a set of databases with different platforms, what additionally complicates this process. High demand for this technique causes that replication issue is developed very fast nowadays. Database replication mechanism consists in intercepting data modifications and propagating them to other databases where they are executed again. This process is very complex and there are many variants and types of replication. In this paper are discussed database replication classification (synchronous, asynchronous, multiple master, master slave), kinds of replication conflicts with resolving strategies, data modification capturing and publication-subscription model. There is introduced an example for realization of replication in heterogeneous environment. Also are discussed aspects of independence database assess mechanism from specific platform, what can be used in implementation of heterogeneous database replication.Предложено решение для реализации репликации в неоднородных средах баз данных при помощи моделей Master-Slave и Multiple master в синхронном и асинхронном режимах. Дана оценка возможным конфликтам и стратегии их преодоления, способам «перехвата» модификаций в базе. Рассмотрены применение схемы «публикатор–подписчик» и различные способы проведения модификаций в удаленных базах данных.Запропоновано рішення для реалізації реплікації у неоднорідних середовищах баз даних за допомогою моделей Master-Slave та Multiple master у синхронному й асинхронному режимах. Дано оцінку можливим конфліктам і стратегії їх подолання, засобам «перехоплення» модифікацій у базі. Розглянуто застосування схеми «публікатор–передплатник» і різні засоби проведення модифікацій у віддалених базах даних

Coloured Petri Net Model of Two-Phase Commit Protocol With Multiple Participants

In this work the usage of Coloured Petri Net for modeling and simulation of Two Phase Commit protocol with multiple cohorts is presented. Brief overview of Coloured Petri Nets is introduced. Two-Phase Commit protocol is briefly described than introduced as Coloured Petri Net model. By initial marking adaptation a few scenarios for 2PC protocol are presented with the use of the reachability analysis.Розглянуто застосування розфарбовуваних мереж Петрі для побудови моделей та подальшої імітації двофазного протоколу підтвердження розподілених транзакцій - 2PC (Two-phase commit) з багатьма учасниками. Надано опис основних понять розфарбовуваних мереж Петрі, що використовуються, а також дії двофазного протоколу підтвердження транзакцій для більш ніж одного учасника. За допомогою відповідного вибору початкових розміток проаналізовано досяжні стани для різних ситуацій, які можуть виникнути в процесі реалізації розподілених транзакцій із застосуванням протоколу 2PC

Two-tier replication based on Eager Group – Lazy Master model

А scheme of two-tier replication based on Eager Group and Lazy Master models is presented. Initial transactions used permit remote nodes to read and update database. The algorithm of optimisation and commitment of initial transactions into form of base transaction are realised by initial transactions manager of master node.Предложена двухуровневая схема репликации данных, основанная на моделях Eager Group и Lazy Master. Нижний уровень (асинхронный) предназначен для мобильных клиентов и реализует модель Lazy Master. Верхний уровень (синхронный) предназначен для согласования серверов, содержащих реплики баз данных и реализует модель Eager Group. Рассмотрен алгоритм оптимизации входных транзакций на этих уровнях.Запропоновано дворівневу схему реплікації даних, що заснована на моделях Eager Group і Lazy Master. Нижній рівень (асинхронний) призначений для мобільних клієнтів і реалізує модель Lazy Master. Верхній рівень (синхронний) призначений для узгодження серверів, що містять репліки баз даних і реалізує модель Eager Group. Розглянуто алгоритм оптимізації вхідних транзакцій на цих рівнях

Determining impact of digitalization on the potential-forming space of regions in the context of sustainable development

The economic essence of digitalization of economic systems is investigated in the article. The challenges of digitalization of the economy of the regions include: the need for consistency of the dynamics of digitalization with economic and legal principles and institutional transformations; digital infrastructure development; intellectualization and digital literacy of the population; access to information and communication innovations. Guidelines for digitalization of the economy of the regions allow to ensure the following results: acceleration of economic business processes and innovative development; increasing the openness and accessibility of knowledge, information, communications; reduction of time and cost in production processes, sales and product promotion; formation of information databases for managing large data sets and accelerating the exchange of information; transformation of economic relations and adaptability to the demands of society. The implementation of the described goals and projects of digitalization of the regions requires the activation of economic potential, as well as the transformation of the institutional environment of the region. Economic factors and tendencies of digital activity of the population of the region are described. Promising areas have been identified to further stimulate the implementation of programs and projects to digitize regions and increase their investment attractiveness to attract financial support

Distributed Transactions Modeling with the Use of Petri Nets

The attempt of using ordinary Petri Net to model and study Three-Phase Commit protocol (3PC) is presented. A brief overview of Petri Nets is introduced. The nature of typical and distributed transactions are explained. 3PC protocol actions are described. The Petri Net of 3PCprotocol followed by reachability analysis and study of the net properties is presented.Зроблено спробу використання простої мережі Петрі для моделювання й дослідження трифазного протоколу фіксації (ЗРС). Наведено короткий огляд мереж Петрі. Пояснено сутність звичайних і розподілених транзакцій. Дано опис кроків протоколу ЗРС. Проаналізовано доступність мережі Петрі з протоколом ЗРС і досліджено властивості запропонованої мережі

Managing the sustainability of economic system as the basis of investment development in Ukraine

Nowadays, studying the categories of “economic sustainability”, “economic sustainability management” and the peculiarities of these concepts is especially relevant. Their use would provide an opportunity to ensure the sustainable and most effective functioning of the subject of economic relations in the current period of time, as well as to create a high potential for its development and ensuring the conditions for investing capital in the Ukrainian economy. All this determined the purpose of this study, which consists in the analysis of the theory and essence of the economic sustainability concept, the interpretation of the concept of “economic sustainability of the system” and the concept of “management of economic sustainability of the system”, distinguishing factors affecting the sustainability of the Ukrainian economic system, determining the relationship of economic sustainability with economic security, investing as well as forecasting the level of the Ukrainian economy sustainability based on the innovative modeling methods. The object of the research is to develop the theory of the “economic sustainability” concept and to determine the level of economic sustainability of the economy aimed at raising the investment climate in Ukraine. To ensure the development, security and investment attractiveness of the Ukrainian economy, an organizational structure of the management model for the sustainability of the Ukrainian economic system was developed using the developed economic and mathematical model
