Professionele ruimte en gespreid leiderschap

Professionele ruimte voor leraren staat hoog op de politieke agenda. Op dit moment is er een wetsvoorstel over dit thema in behandeling bij de Tweede Kamer. Professionele ruimte zou moeten leiden tot een grotere inhoudelijke ontwikkelingstaak van leraren, en tot meer reflectie en ideeënuitwisseling. Professionele ruimte is daarmee direct gekoppeld aan vraagstukken rond de professionele ontwikkeling van leraren. Hoe professionele ruimte vorm moet krijgen, is echter de vraag. Uit diverse onderzoeken blijkt dat de rol van de leidinggevende cruciaal is, maar hoe die rol er precies uitziet is onduidelijk. Er is behoefte aan een nieuw type onderzoek naar de wijze waarop leraren professionele ruimte krijgen en nemen.\ud Deze reviewstudie heeft als doel om het perspectief van gespreid leiderschap nader te duiden en in verband te brengen met de professionele ruimte die leraren ervaren in scholen. De literatuur rondom gespreid leiderschap en professionele ruimte wordt verkend en er wordt een conceptueel model voorgesteld om deze begrippen met elkaar in verband te brengen. Op basis hiervan wordt toegewerkt naar een ontwerp van een praktijknabij onderzoeksinstrument om dit verband inzichtelijk te maken

On-line identification of vehicle fuel consumption for energy and emission management : an LTP system analysis

An Energy Management (EM) system traditionally relies on (quasi) static maps offering efficiency parameters of the vehicle powertrain. During a vehicle's life span, these maps lose validity, so optimal performance for EM is not assured. This paper presents a proof-of-concept for a novel measurement system, estimating important engine and generator characteristics on-line during driving. The generator applies a small excitation signal to the combustion engine and by means of correlation techniques and feedback control, the incremental fuel cost for generating electric power is estimated. This information is very relevant for EM in Hybrid Electric Vehicles. No additional sensors (e.g. torque estimators) are needed. Under mild assumptions it is shown that the measurement system satisfies a Linear Time Periodic (LTP) System. Harmonic analysis as well as Floquet Theory are used to analyze performance and stability criteria. Simulation results support this analysis and demonstrate good noise rejection of the system

New ultrahigh vacuum setup and advanced diagnostic techniques for studying a-Si:H film growth by radical beams

A new ultrahigh vacuum setup is presented which is designed for studying the surface science aspects of a-Si:H film growth using various advanced optical diagnostic techniques. The setup is equipped with plasma and radical sources which produce well-defined radicals beams such that the a-Si:H deposition process can be mimicked. In this paper the initial experiments with respect to deposition of a-Si:H using a hot wire source and etching of a-Si:H by atomic hydrogen are presented. These processes are monitored by real time spectroscopic ellipsometry and the etch yield of Si by atomic hydrogen is quantified to be 0.005±0.002 Si atoms per incoming H atom
