Preparation of Thin Films by Electrochemical Methods

Disertační práce pojednává o elektrochemické depozici olova, cínu, křemíku a germania z aprotických bezvodných elektrolytů v inertní atmosféře. Nanesené vrstvy jsou zkoumány z hlediska povrchových a elektrochemických vlastností.The doctoral theses deal with electrochemical deposition of lead, tin, silicon and germanium from aprotic electrolytes in anhydrous inert atmosphere. Deposited layers are studied from the perspective of their surface and of electrochemical characteristics.

SPECIFIC EMISSIONS FROM BIOMASS COMBUSTION

This paper deals with determining the specific emissions from the combustion of two kinds of biomass fuels in a small-scale boiler. The tested fuels were pellets made of wood and pellets made of rape plant straw. In order to evaluate the specific emissions, several combustion experiments were carried out using a commercial 25 kW pellet-fired boiler. The specific emissions of CO, SO2 and NOx were evaluated in relation to a unit of burned fuel, a unit of calorific value and a unit of produced heat. The specific emissions were compared with some data acquired from the reference literature, with relatively different results. The differences depend mainly on the procedure used for determining the values, and references provide no information about this. Although some of our experimental results may fit with one of the reference sources, they do not fit with the other. The reliability of the references is therefore disputable

Electrochemical deposition of silicone from organic solvents

Diplomová práce se zaobírá elektrodepozicí křemíku z bezvodných roztoků. Pro elektrolyt bylo v práci použito EC:DMC (1:1) s (C2H5)4NBF4, LiPF6 a LiClO4. Na vzorcích je proměřena elektrochemická aktivita znázorněná za pomocí cyklické voltametrie. Výsledná nanesená vrstva křemíku je popsána pomocí RTG difrakční analýzy.The diploma thesis deals with researching electrodeposition of silicon in anhydrous solutions. As electrolyte was used EC:DMC (1:1) with (C2H5)4NBF4, LiPF6 and LiClO4. Research was measured by cyclic voltammetry and XRD.

The Measurement of Isolated Cardiac Cells Conctraction and Their Viability

Diplomová práce se zabývá měřením viability a kontraktibilty srdečních buněk. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní částí – teoretickou a praktickou. V první teoretické části dochází k nastínění elektrofyziologie buňky a zpracování obrazu. V praktické části již dochází k detekci pohybu srdečních buněk za použití excentricity v programu Matlab. Pro zjištění viability byly zkoumány izolované kardiomyocyty v různých médiích, například v DMEM a MPRI.The master´s thesis deals with research of viability and contraction measurement of cardiomyocytes. The work is divided into two main areas – theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part is aimed at electrophysiology of cardiomyocytes. Practical part includes detection of contractibility based on eccentricity in program Matlab. For research of viability, were used several media for example DMEM and MPRI.

Kurdská otázka v Turecku v letech 2009 až 2011: Konflikt (ne)zralý pro řešení?

Případová studie se zabývá pokusem o vyřešení konfliktu mezi Kurdskou stranou pracujících (PKK) a tureckým státem za vlády Strany spravedlnosti a rozvoje (AKP) v letech 2009 až 2011. Na tento případ je aplikována teorie zralosti Williama Zartmana, jež se zabývá okolnostmi, které nahrávají ukončení konfliktu dohodou. Studie zkoumá stav konfliktu a následně určuje, jestli tento stav posiluje dle Zartmanových předpokladů možnost ukončit konflikt vyjednaný dohodou (tj. zda se konflikt nachází ve stavu zralosti). Analýza ukazuje, že konflikt nevykazoval ve sledovaném období znaky zralosti. Alternativním vysvětlením dílčích pozitivních kroků a rétoriky je primárně snaha politicky marginalizovat PKK

Design for sewage water management in the village of Kunětice

Bakalářská práce řeší návrh odkanalizování obce Kunětice gravitační splaškovou kanalizací s následnou dopravou odpadních vod výtlačným potrubím do stávající čerpací stanice odpadních vod v obci Počaply. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na dvě části, teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část obsahuje popis lokality, zhodnocení stávajícího stavu, návrh řešení a technické podklady. Praktická část řeší konkrétní návrh soustavy splaškové stokové sítě a obsahuje výkres situace, podélné profily, hydrotechnický výpočet a odhad ekonomických nákladů celé stavby.This bachelor's thesis addresses the design of a gravity sewage system for the municipality of Kunětice with subsequent transportation of wastewater via a pressure pipeline to the existing wastewater pumping station in the village of Počaply. The thesis is divided into two parts: a theoretical and practical one. The theoretical part contains a description of the location, evaluation of the current state, proposed solution, and technical specifications. Influence of Internet over information society

This thesis deals with the influence of Internet over information society. The Internet has been with us by second part of twentieth century, and has become phenomena of society today. It'll be the same in 21th century. The first part of thesis describes terms refer to the Internet -- at first data, information, through knowledge to terms as information society or computer network. The second part is about Internet as medium -- history, essence, globalization, data selection or education of information society. First captures of practical part deal with data analysis from Czech statistical office. This part contents for example data of comparison with computer and Internet development in Czech republic. Then follow collected results from questionnaire of individual influence over the Internet for information society -- amount of information, fun in Internet, influence of social network on real life and credibility of information. The main point of questionnaire investigation was to find opinion of respondent about future development of each aspect. This had been compared with personal sight in issues
