SWKB and proper quantization conditions for translationally shape invariant potentials

Using a recently proposed classification for the primary translationally shape invariant potentials, we show that the exact quantization rule formulated by Ma and Xu is equivalent to the supersymmetric JWKB quantization condition. The energy levels for the two considered categories of shaped invariant potentials are also derived

The research is entitled “the effect of group counseling toward the self adjustment level of the tenth grade forestry vocational school of pekanbaru in 2014/2015 academic year. It is aimed at 1) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students before the group counseling was implemented. 2) finding out the ongoing implementation process of counseling the tenth grade students. 3) finding out the level of self adjustment of the tenth grade students after the group counseling was implemented. 4) finding out the differences between pre-implemetation and post-implementation of group counseling toward tenth grade students' self adjustment level. 5) finding out whether there is an effect of group counseling toward tenth grade students' self adjustment level. The research subjects are 100 students of the tenth grade of forestry vocational school of pekanbaru. 30% of the population that is equal to 30 persons were taken as samples by using random sampling. As a description of students' self adjustment level before the implemetation of group counseling, most of them are categorized as unfavorable, a small portion of the students are categorized as very unfavorable, and none of them are categorized as pretty good, good, and very good. While, as a description of post-implemetation of group counseling, the students' self adjustment level are 16,67% categorized as good, mostly 83,33% are categorized as very good, and none of them are categorized as very unfavorable, pretty unfavorable, and very unfavorable. Based on the hypothesis result test, it shoes that there is significant effect of group discussion toward students' self adjustment which is amounted to 48%

On the linear forms of the Schrodinger equation

Generalizing the linearisation procedure used by Dirac and later by L\'evy-Leblond, we derive the first-order non-relativistic wave equations for particles of spin 1 and spin 3/2 starting from the Schrodinger equation

Ma-Xu quantization rule and exact WKB condition for translationally shape invariant potentials

For translationally shape invariant potentials, the exact quantization rule proposed by Ma and Xu is a direct consequence of exactness of the modified WKB quantization condition proved by Barclay. We propose here a very direct alternative way to calculate the appropriate correction for the whole class of translationally shape invariant potentials

The X-linked Mental Retardation Protein OPHN1 Interacts with Homer1b/c to Control Spine Endocytic Zone Positioning and Expression of Synaptic Potentiation

At glutamatergic synapses, local endocytic recycling of AMPA receptors (AMPARs) is important for the supply of a mobile pool of AMPARs required for synaptic potentiation. This local recycling of AMPARs critically relies on the presence of an endocytic zone (EZ) near the postsynaptic density (PSD). The precise mechanisms that couple the EZ to the PSD still remain largely elusive, with the large GTPase Dynamin-3 and the multimeric PSD adaptor protein Homer1 as the two main players identified. Here, we demonstrate that a physical interaction between the X-linked mental retardation protein oligophrenin-1 (OPHN1) and Homer1b/c is crucial for the positioning of the EZ adjacent to the PSD, and present evidence that this interaction is important for OPHN1's role in controlling activity-dependent strengthening of excitatory synapses in the rat hippocampus. Disruption of the OPHN1-Homer1b/c interaction causes a displacement of EZs from the PSD, along with impaired AMPAR recycling and reduced AMPAR accumulation at synapses, in both basal conditions and conditions that can induce synaptic potentiation. Together, our findings unveil a novel role for OPHN1 as an interaction partner of Homer1b/c in spine EZ positioning, and provide new mechanistic insight into how genetic deficits in OPHN1 can lead to impaired synapse maturation and plasticity

Approximate solution of the Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau equation for a vector Yukawa potential with arbitrary total angular momenta

The usual approximation scheme is used to study the solution of the Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau (DKP) equation for a vector Yukawa potential in the framework of the parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method. The approximate energy eigenvalue equation and the corresponding wave function spinor components are calculated for arbitrary total angular momentum in closed form. Further, the approximate energy equation and wave function spinor components are also given for case. A set of parameter values is used to obtain the numerical values for the energy states with various values of quantum levelsComment: 17 pages; Communications in Theoretical Physics (2012). arXiv admin note: substantial text overlap with arXiv:1205.0938, and with arXiv:quant-ph/0410159 by other author

    In this study, a comprehensive dataset of X-ray emission intensity ratios has been compiled, including I L β / I L α , I L γ / I L α , I Ll / I L α , I L γ / I L β , I Ll / I L γ , I Ll / I L β , I L γ 5 / I L α , I L γ 44 ′ / I L α , I L η / I L α , and I L γ 1 / I L α , extracted from literature spanning the years 1971 to 2023, and encompassing 83 research papers. Over this timeframe, a total of 2600 values were collected, comprising some 678 values for I L β / I L α , 696 values for I L γ / I L α , 617 values for I Ll / I L α , along with 132, 132, 89, 60, 70, 71, and 55 data points for I L γ / I L β , I Ll / I L γ , I Ll / I L β , I L γ 5 / I L α , I L γ 44 ′ / I L α , I L η / I L α , and I L γ 1 / I L α , respectively. The reported values are presented with precision up to three to four decimal places, accompanied by their associated uncertainties. Additionally, the tables include calculated weighted averages ( I L i / I L j ) W , uncertainty values ( ε I S D , ε E S D ), combined standard deviations ( z I S D , z E S D ), and average z-scores ( z ¯ I S D , z ¯ E S D ) for these intensity ratios. The data encompasses elements ranging from 39Y to 94Pu when excited by photon bombardment. The assessment of how these experimental data values are distributed according to atomic number indicates extensive coverage across most elements. However, a few isolated instances were identified where either no data or fewer than two data values were available
