W artykule przedstawiono charakterystyczne, kluczowe z punktu widzenia potencjalnego kredytobiorcy elementy kredytu hipotecznego. Przybliżono znaczenie takich czynników jak zdolność kredytowa, poziom wkładu własnego i zabezpieczeń, a także oprocentowanie kredytu, okres spłaty i jego waluta. W artykule zaprezentowano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych na grupie młodych ludzi odnośnie ich preferencji względem postrzegania kredytu hipotecznego i znaczenia jego poszczególnych elementów na decyzje kredytobiorców. Who are children, how do they learn? – Qualitative analysis of interview with caregivers in crèche

This article presents the results of a focus group interview with caregivers in a crèche, during which they spoke about various issues important to them concerning their relationships with children and they tried to discover their personal implicit theories and expectations on this subject. The analysis of the data was greatly inspired by the assumptions of the grounded theory. The statements provided by the care­givers fit in, to a large extent, the globally recognized ideas concerning the high qual­ity ECEC impact on child’s development.W artykule przedstawiono rezultaty wywiadu grupowego z wychowawcami w żłobku, podczas którego wypowiadali się oni na temat różnych istotnych dla nich kwestii, dotyczących relacji z dziećmi, starali się odkryć swoje osobiste na ten temat „teorie” (implicit theories). W analizie danych inspirowano się założeniami teorii ugruntowanej. Wypowiedzi wychowawców wpisują się w dużym stopniu w globalnie akceptowane tezy na temat wysokiej jakości oddziaływania instytucjonalnego, sprzyjającego rozwojowi dziecka

Ocena wykorzystania gestów ©GORA we wsparciu komunikacji językowej dziecka z zaburzonym rozwojem mowy (perspektywa terapeuty)

The purpose of this article was to evaluate the use of articulatory gestures by specialists in language communication therapy. Impaired speech development significantly impedes the individual’s language communication, leading to developmental deficits in the emotional, cognitive and social spheres. Articulatory gestures are an effective method supporting therapy when working with people with language communication disorders. They help one overcome deficits in the development of motor functions and/or auditory perception, which are the underlying difficulties in mastering the language. Thanks to this, they stimulate the development of the child’s speech and language, building and developing communication and language competencies. The authors of this article verified their observations and thoughts by conducting surveys among speech therapists supporting language communication therapy with articulatory gestures.Celem niniejszego artykułu jest ocena wykorzystania przez terapeutów w terapii komunikacji językowej metody Gestów Obrazujących Ruchy Artykulatorów (©GORA). Zaburzony rozwój mowy znacznie utrudnia komunikację językową jednostki, prowadzi do deficytów rozwojowych w sferze emocjonalnej, poznawczej i społecznej. W pracy z osobami z zaburzeniami komunikacji językowej efektywną metodą wspierającą terapię są gesty ©GORA. Wspomagają one przełamanie deficytów w zakresie rozwoju funkcji motorycznych i/lub percepcji słuchowej leżących u podłoża trudności w opanowaniu języka, czytania i pisania. Dzięki temu stymulują rozwój mowy i języka dziecka, budują i rozwijają kompetencję komunikacyjną oraz kompetencję językową. Quantitative determination and localization of cathepsin D and its inhibitors.

A literature survey was performed of the methods of quantitative assessment of the activity and concentration of cathepsin D and its inhibitors. Usefulness of non-modified and modified proteins and synthetic peptides as measurement substrates was evaluated. The survey includes also chemical and immunochemical methods used to determine the distribution of cathepsin D and its inhibitors in cells and tissues

Cathepsin D inhibitors.

Inhibitors of cathepsin D belong to chemical compounds that estrify carboxyl groups of the Asp33 and Asp231 residues of its catalytic site, penta-peptides containing statin, i.e. the amino acid similar in structure to the tetraedric indirect product, and polypeptides found in the spare organs of many plants and forming permanent noncovalent complexes with cathepsin. Cathepsin D activity is also inhibited by alpha2-macroglobulin and antibodies directed against this enzyme. Methods used to determine the activity and concentration of these inhibitors and their analytical, preparative and therapeutic applications are discussed

Beyond Conventions: The Nomadic Smooth Space in J.M. Coetzee’s Life and Times of Michael K

This article traces the processes governing the creation of literary places in J.M. Coetzee’s Life and Times of Michael K. The recognition of elements characteristic of pastoral, anti-pastoral and post-pastoral modes of spatial organisation in renderings of the City of Cape Town and the South African countryside constitutes the point of departure for the analysis. Conventional patterns are questioned and subverted, and ultimately proven unfit for the representation of the moments of social and political distress in late twentieth century South Africa. The novel’s protagonist suggestively navigates the interpretation process into the field of postmodern theories of space. The distinction between ‘smooth’ and ‘striated’ space proposed by French philosophers Félix Guattari and Gilles Deleuze establishes a revealing set of correspondences and evinces previously uncovered exegetic layers of the narrative

Ciało i śmiech w „Moralności Pani Dulskiej” Gabrieli Zapolskiej a polskie stereotypy genderowe

BODY AND LAUGHTER IN GABRIELA ZAPOLSKA’S MORALNOŚĆ PANI DULSKIEJ /THE MORALITY OF MRS. DULSKA/ AND POLISH GENDER STEREOTYPES  Gabriela Zapolska’s play Moralność pani Dulskiej (1906, The Morality of Mrs. Dulska) is undoubtedly one of her best works and one of the best comedies written in Polish. Its interest lies in the way in which the author satirizes moral philistinism by reversing gender roles in a middle class family. The presentation shows how gender related issues are used in the play to underscore the point that philistine morality is not gender specific, and it analyzes the way in which comic effects are achieved against conventional stereotypes. It then compares the text of the play with two more recent performances, both TV fi lms (one by Andrzej Wajda, and the other by Tomasz Zygadło), in which Zapolska’s originality becomes re-conventionalized in accordance with patriarchal stereotypes. In both instances patriarchal gender expectations are reintroduced and reinforced, but with the loss of the humour of the play in Wajda’s production, and a shift to the more traditional, anti-feminine comedy in Zygadło’s version
