    Regional Original Income (PAD) in Pekanbaru City is still not good. This is because the target set by the Pekanbaru City government has not been achieved for the last 5 (five) years. Regional levies are local levies as payment for certain services and permits specifically provided and/or granted by local governments for the benefit of individuals or organizations. One example is the Retribution for Garbage/Cleaning Services, Parking Services, and Market Services. Market services are traditional/simple market facilities in the form of kiosks and stalls managed by the government for traders. Pekanbaru City has 6 UPTD Markets, none of which has reached the target of realization for the last 3 years. Only about 92.47% of the most realized realizations were paid off from the target. There are still many obstacles in the management of market retribution activities. So that the existence of these problems certainly has an influence on increasing market levies in Pekanbaru City. If POAC management is applied in the perspective of HR management, the management of market service retribution in the city of Pekanbaru can increase or reach the target every year, not only from HR management from the market sector but also HR management from traders in order to fulfill their obligations as traders who enjoy facilities from the government. If the management of human resources from the market sector and traders is paid for, it will automatically increase the income for local revenue, especially in the city of Pekanbaru

    Is 'customer is the king' could be applied in the context of education? Is the teaching in a University should take place by highly considering expectations of the customers (students)? This study answered such curiosity. The study aimed to generate a particular map (mapping) or portrait of lecture highlighted by the concept of customer focus. This study was conducted at two universities, the University of Riau (UR) and the State Islamic University (UIN), located in Pekanbaru. Data is collected through a simple questionnaire designed to obtain information about two things: the expectations and the reality received by customer (students), focused on 10 aspects of learning. The greater the difference between the two scores that indicate the quality gap in the implementation of learning. The data, then, is analyzed descriptively for describe the level of conformance in the concept of 'customer focus'. The study found three bigest quality gap (from 10 aspects measured) on learnig highligted by customer focus concept, which is similar, at the two universities studied, are: (1) The application of student centered approach; (2) Transparency of assessment; and (3) Discussion on mid test

    The research aims to determine customer satisfaction based on the quality of school services that can shape the school's image and customer loyalty. The research approach used mixed method research with a sequential mixed methods type with a sequential explanatory strategy. This research used interviews and questionnaires as research instruments. Total of 151 were chosen by using probability sampling with stratified random sampling. The data had collected then analyzed with univariate analysis, servqual analysis, and importance-performance analysis. The results of the research conducted, there are differences between expectations and reality for all dimensions of the quality of school services that are measured. Furthermore, the results of the interviews conducted showed that the dimensions of physical evidence are things that need to be improved, but in terms of teacher quality, it is already good. Those results indicate that customer satisfaction has not achieved yet, when referring to the theory of customer satisfaction. Schools are expected to be able to make improvements to the quality of service to students so that they can become a bridge to establish good communication with parents and be able to create positive perceived values ​​for schools

    Abstrack: Picture and Picture learning method is a series of teaching materials delivered by showing pictures - concrete images that the students can understand clearly about the true meaning of the teaching materials presented to him. Thus, the main ingredient of the use of methods of picture and Picture is a picture - a picture that involves learning materials. The purpose of this study is to investigate the use of picture and Picture In the method of increasing student interest in learning social studies grade IV SDN 022 Sintong Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir. Where the research was conducted in SDN 002 Sintong Tanah Putuh. The sample used is siwi fourth grade students numbered 21 people, consisting of 9 men and 12 women. Data was collected using observation sheet for teachers, students and student interest. Analysis technique used is sheet activities of teachers, the observation sheet and interest in learning. From the results of data analysis that has been done shows a method of picture and picture can improve the learning interest of fourth grade students of SDN 022 Sintong Tanah Putih Rokan Hilir proven and is one of the exciting learning methods in the learning process in the classroom can be accepted. From these results it is suggested that the application of methods Picture and Picture can be used as a method of learning that can improve the quality of teachers and the quality of students in the school

    Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran IPS Kelas IX MTs Negeri 3 Bengkalis

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran problem based learning pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IX MTs Negeri 3 Bengkalis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan menggunakan rancangan One group pretest-posttest design. Sample dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX.2 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan tes uraian. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji normalitas, uji hipotesis dan uji N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) model pembelajaran problem based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS kelas IX MTs Negeri 3 Bengkalis yang ditunjukkan pada meningkatnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dari kondisi awal yaitu dengan nilai 54,48 menjadi 72,86 pada kondisi akhir. (2) Uji t menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 ? 0,05 dan diperoleh nilai rata-rata perbedaan antara pretest dan posttest sebesar 18,20. (3) Hasil uji N-Gain menunjukkan nilai rata-rata gain sebesar 0,3968 masuk dalam kategori sedang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa

    Abstract: This study is a Class Action Research in Elementary School 035 Sekeladi, the purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of cooperative learning model type Non Example Example in improving students\u27 motivation. Subyek research in fourth grade 035 Sekeladi. From the research, the teacher Increased activity occurs on the implementation of the second cycle, which reached a 87.50% with a category (very good). Aktiviats students also increased, which in the first cycle of student activity only get a 64.81% and increased to 80.86% with both categories (very well). Motivasi also seen increased student learning. This is evident from the percentage of student motivation in the first cycle that only earn a percentage 57.87% in both categories, the increased to 76.39% with the category (very well).     The background of this study is that the students \u27interest in learning IPS relatively low which is characterized by a sense of interest in the students\u27 social studies, less the member\u27s attention, a sense of curiosity of students. Besides, teachers using conventional methods, ie lectures and without the use of media so that students feel bored and berinplikasi on student interest. Of the necessary problem Action Research (PTK) by applying the learning method Kooperative Non Example Example Learning mode. This study aims to increase interest in social studies class VIII MTs At Thohiriyah Srikayangan districts Tanjung Medan. The population number of students as many as 30 students. This research was conducted in two cycles each cycle consisting of two meetings. Instrument of data collection in this study is the observation sheet teacher, student observation sheet and observation sheet student interest. The results of the analysis of the activity of teachers in the first cycle of 45% in the category enough, the second cycle increased to 83.3% lam very good category. While the results of the analysis of the activity of students in the first cycle of 58.3% in the category enough, the second cycle increased to 87.2% in the excellent category, activities of student interest cycle I 48.27% in the medium category and the second cycle has reached the level of success ie 87.45% in the high category.
