All companies aspire to compete against their rivals, retain a strategic edge in the industry, gain the largest market share and be inspired to bring out their utmost to achieve their desired goals at work. Few businesses think they will gain growth and wealth by important assets for their workers. Unfortunately, most companies appear to exploit the dismissal of their workers and talented applicants. Recognizing the critical position of workers appears to have a major effect on operational performance as most companies aim to maintain staff by empowering and enhancing the working standards of their employees. Therefore, it is necessary to enforce certain techniques to retain high quality and ensure performance and efficiency. The research examined the influence of organizational participation and encouragement in banks' work results. A study of 100 participants was tested, and findings were evaluated using the chi-square analysis. The findings revealed a substantial level below 5% which indicates that the study variables are closely linked. The quantitative approach and qualitative framework have been used to analyze their perception of the effects of job retention on the success of workers. Approach a single case study for various branches by implementing a similar case study and addressing a larger number of samples. This allows the researcher to remove the survey challenge and hold evidence from a larger community with a deeper comprehension of the idea of encouragement and how it influences workers' output

The role and significance of Magnesium in modern day research-A review

    Get PDF
Magnesium is one of the largely available elements in the earth's crust. It has a low structural density with high specific strength. This unique material property has forced an increase in the use of magnesium and its alloys in various applications pertaining to industrial sector, automobiles, aerospace and biomedical. Since magnesium is a highly reactive metal, it is prone to higher rate of corrosion as compared to its counterparts. Thus, it is essential to analyze the corrosion behavior of magnesium and its alloys in its applications. An appropriate process is to be followed in the design and development of magnesium alloys which overcome the limitations of magnesium and enhance the desired material properties in accordance to their applications. This review paper summarizes the importance of magnesium and its material properties. The influence of various alloying elements on the mechanical properties of magnesium is reviewed. The broad classification of Mg alloys and their behavioral trends are detailed. The corrosion behavior of magnesium and the influence of corrosion products on the material characteristics of magnesium, in aqueous medium, are discussed. The manufacturing techniques of magnesium alloys along with the secondary techniques are also covered. The various applications and the limitations of magnesium in these applications are covered. A complete section is dedicated towards detailing the recent trends of magnesium (Mg) alloys, i.e., the biodegradable nature and applications of Mg alloys. The influence of biocorrosion on Mg alloys and techniques to overcome it have been deliberated. This paper provides a thorough review on recent developments of magnesium with respect to engineering applications

Bilateral medial rectus palsy due to midbrain infarction following concussion head injury

    No full text
Here, we report a rare case of bilateral medial rectus palsy following closed head injury. An adult male had an accidental fall which rendered him unconscious. This was followed by diplopia and restricted ocular motility. He received supportive medical therapy. He was examined for systemic medical and ophthalmic findings. Routine laboratory tests and imaging techniques were employed as per the symptoms. Diffusion-weighted imaging on magnetic resonance imaging proved it to be a rare presentation of small bilateral midbrain infarct. He recovered fully after 8 months

Fluorescent carbon nanomaterials from coal and its derivatives: structure, properties, and applications

    No full text
Coal is a cheap and sustainable precursor for the preparation of fuorescent carbon nanomaterials (FCNMs). Based on the size and morphology, these nanomaterials are classifed as carbon quantum dots (CQDs), carbon nanotubes (CNTs), carbon nanofbers (CNFs), carbon nanosheets (CNSs), graphene quantum dots (GQDs), carbon polymer dots (CPDs) etc. The FCNMs have sparked interest because of their distinctive fuorescence, efective catalysis, water solubility, biocompatibility, ease of surface functionalization, cost-efective synthesis, photostability, and other potential benefts for various advanced applications. A substantial percentage of the scientifc community has been driven by a strong desire to prepare carbon nanomaterials (CNMs) using environmentally acceptable and low-cost synthesis methods. The precursors used in the preparation of carbon-based nanomaterials are critical to the technology’s future success. Most traditional synthesis procedures use high-cost carbon feedstocks like hydrocarbons and graphite, limiting their commercialization. In this review, coal is used as starting material for the synthesis of FCNMs and is applied in various current felds.Highlights • Coal and its derivatives derived fuorescent carbon nanomaterials are discussed. • Diferent type of methodology basically top-down and bottom-up for the preparation of fuorescent carbon nanomaterials are described. • The physical and optical properties of fuorescent carbon nanomaterials are discussed. • The origin of fuorescence on coal-based nanomaterials have been discussed. • The multifunctional applications of fuorescent carbon nanomaterials are summarized in detail. • The advantage, challenges and future prospects of fuorescent Carbon Nanomaterials from Coal is discusse
