    Kaitan antara musik dan pengembangan kecerdasaan anak usia dini telah lama menjadi tema penelitian dan diskusi para ahli pendidikan anak usia dini. Aktivitas musik memberikan berbagai manfaat bagi pengembangan kecerdasaan anak, khususunya kecerdasan motorik dan kognitif. Berbagai implementasi pembelajaran musik yang dilakukan oleh peneliti maupun pendidik asing memfokuskan pada penggunaan alat musik yang berasal dari kebudayaan barat, seperti xylophone, piano, drum, dan lain-lain. Penelitian ini mendukung pemanfaatan musik dalam konteks pendidikan anak usia dini, namun penulis hendak memperlihatkan bahwa berbagai manfaat dari aktivitas musik dicapai melalui penggunaan alat musik tradisonal Indonesia, seperti gamolan dan angklung. Menggunakan metode studi pustaka, artikel ini menelaah penelitian yang tersedia dalam jurnal online sebagai contoh aplikasi alat musik tradisional Indonesia dalam proses pembelajaran Anak Usia Dini. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa alat musik tradisional Indonesia seperti gamolan Lampung dan Angklung Jawa Barat juga dapat menjadi media yang efektif bagi pengembangan kecerdasan motorik dan kognitif anak usia dini. &nbsp

    Correlation between Mother’s Nutritional Knowledge with Nutritional Status (Height for Age and BMI for Age) of Children

    Malnutrition problems usually occur in early childhood. It is pretty concerning because early childhood is a group whose nutritional needs must be considered and are still growing. Lack of maternal nutritional knowledge is one of the causes of nutritional problems in children. This study analyzed the relationship between mothers' nutritional knowledge and children's nutritional status (TB/U and IMT/U) at Raudlatul Ulum, Ambarawa District, Pringsewu Regency. The research design was cross-sectional, with 31 subjects. The research subjects were mothers with children aged >60 months. The type of analysis used is Fisher's Test. The results of the study showed that the number of children with stunting nutritional status (TB/U) was seven people (22.6%), which became a public health problem (stunting prevalence >20%). The number of children with poor nutritional status (IMT/U) is one person (3.2%). Statistical test results showed that there was no significant relationship (p>0.05) between the mother's nutritional knowledge and the toddler's nutritional status (TB/A and IMT/U). Still, there was a significant relationship due to the difference in the proportion of> 20%. In conclusion, a mother's nutrition knowledge is essential in providing nutritious food and can support children's nutritional status

    Penggunaan Metode Show and Tell melalui Media Magic Box untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Bahasa dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini

    Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk mengembangkan keterampilan bahasa anak lewat penggunaan metode show and tell sebagai salah satu alternatif bagi para pendidik dalam pembelajaran anak usia dini. Metode ini akan diaplikasikan lewat media magic box yang mendorong peserta didik untuk bebas berkomunikasi pada sesama peserta didik dan pendidik di kelas. Apa yang hendak dicapai dalam penerapan metode show and tell melalui media ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan ketertarikan dan percaya diri anak dalam berkomunikasi dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Metode yang peneliti gunakan adalah kualitatif deskriprtif.  Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dengan menerapkan langkah-langkah dalam pelaksanaan pengunaan media magic box dengan menggunakan metode show and tell sebagai berikut: 1) Letakkan satu barang di dalam magic box, isi benda kotak tersebut sesuai denga tema pembelajaran pada hari itu. Lalu diletakkan di depan anak yang dapat dijangkau oleh anak. 2) Kemudian anak diminta untuk maju kedepan, untuk membuka kotak tersebut. 3) Setelah itu anak menunjukkan ke audiens benda apa yang sudah ia dapatkan dari magic box tersebut.     Background in this research begins with the COVID-19 pandemic, there have been many changes in the fabric of people's lives. One of the protocols for preventing the transmission of COVID-19 requires the public to apply a pattern of physical distancing. In this case, the pattern of direct meetings is very limited, resulting in changes in learning methods in schools. As a form of anticipation in facing a pandemic, the Indonesian government initially promoted Work From Home (WFH) to reduce the number of COVID-19 transmissions for elements of the workforce who made it possible to do their work from home. The study, entitled "The Effectiveness of Distance Learning (Pjj) in Bina Bhakti Way Puji Kindergarten, Lampung, during the COVID-19 Pandemic," is qualitative research with a descriptive study approach that focuses on knowing the effectiveness of distance learning programs at Bina Bhakti Kindergarten Way Puji Lampung. The subjects of this research are students and parents who accompany and the teaching teacher. This research and implementation aim to answer questions regarding; 1) the concept of distance learning in Bina Bakti Kindergarten Way Puji Lampung, 2) implementation of distance learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic, 3) Effectiveness of distance learning methods during the COVID-19 pandemic. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data collection instrument was carried out using a questionnaire. This research procedure adjusts to the schedule for implementing learning in PAUD. The results of this study reveal that; 1) the distance learning program at TK Bina Bhakti has been implemented as easy and as simple as possible so that it can be followed by students, even though there are some obstacles experienced by teachers and students, 2) TK Bina Bhakti makes learning methods with concepts that can be understood by all parties, by making learning methods that remain attractive to students and can still achieve the standard criteria for student achievement, 3) when doing distance learning, teachers and parents feel that the method is effective but not optimal, such as feedback on returning assignments from students who not everything is being done, the shortcomings of the internet and student companion devices at home are one of the less optimal factors for distance learning
