    Characteristics of Patients in Receiving Informed Consent on Arteriovenous Shunt Vascular Access Measures in the Hemodialysis Room of Temanggung Hospital

    Background: Hemodialysis is a medical procedure that must be performed in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Infection and hematoma are the cause of the use of temporary access can be a vascath (percutaneous venous catheter) where the catheter is inserted into the large femoral vein. The importance of giving informed consent in patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) to install an Arteriovenous (AV) shunt vascular access to reduce infection and hematoma. Approval and rejection of medical treatment in patients are influenced by patient characteristics which include age, gender, education, occupation, attitude, knowledge and language. Objective: This study aims to determine the relationship between patient characteristics in receiving informed consent and AV shunt vascular access in the hemodialysis room. Methods: This study uses a quantitative method with a descriptive correlative design. This type of research is using a descriptive cross-sectional study approach. Sampling with a total sampling of 24 respondents. Results: The results showed that the relationship between characteristics such as education, knowledge and patient attitudes in receiving informed consent had an effect on Arteriovenous (AV) Shunt vascular access (p-value = 0.005). Conclusion: There is a relationship between the characteristics of patients in receiving informed consent and access to vascular Arteriovenous (AV) shunts in the hemodialysis room. Acceptance of informed consent for Arteriovenous (AV) shunt vascular access in the hemodialysis room, the results showed that most of the respondents did not agree to install Arteriovenous (AV) shunt vascular access as many as 18 respondents (75.0%). The recommendation from the main findings of this study is the importance of providing complete and clear information to patients about the informed consent of the ArterioVenous (AV) Shunt vascular access plan before hemodialysis.Keywords: Informed Consent; Vascular Access Arteriovenous (AV) Shunt; Hemodialysi

    The legal implications of abandoned digital assets In Sharīʿah-compliant fintech platforms

    Purpose —The recent surge in Sharīʿah-compliant fintech platforms has created an increasing volume of intangible digital assets of increasing value across emerging technological platforms. This phenomenon has generated a significant number of digital assets left behind after the demise of their owners. This paper provides a legal analysis of the implications of abandoned digital assets in Sharīʿah-compliant fintech platforms. It seeks answers to two central research questions: what are the Sharīʿah and legal implications of digital assets after the passing of the owner? How can the existing Sharīʿah-compliant fintech platforms prevent uncertainty over digital assets? Design/Methodology/Approach—This is a conceptual paper which adopts a qualitative analysis of both primary and secondary sources from existing journals and regulatory instruments in Islamic finance jurisdictions to explore the gaps in the law regarding digital assets and regulations regarding unclaimed money. The paper further compares the approaches adopted in Malaysia and Saudi Arabia in regulating digital assets and unclaimed moneys. Findings —The paper finds that there is scope for the administration of digital assets in both regulated and unregulated Sharīʿah-compliant fintech platforms. Similarly, the adoption of e-KYC that complies with the Sharīʿah ethos is essential to ensure that digital assets are not lost upon the account holder’s demise. The legal right and title of the account holder and legal heirs can only be protected through the operation of digital assets regulation in a Sharīʿah-compliant fintech environment. Originality —This paper is of value to administrators and legal heirs of account holders in fintech environments. It recommends measures to prevent intestacy and uphold the account holders’ and legal heirs’ intergenerational property rights and financial benefits. Research Limitations/Implications—As a conceptual paper, the attitude of digital asset users is not examined due to the absence of quantitative or qualitative data on devolution of digital assets.Practical Implications—Although this study focuses on the implication of digital assets for Sharīʿah-compliant fintech platforms, the findings may well have a bearing on policymakers, legal practitioners, and administrators of estates in the management of emerging asset classes

      The situation is causing the elderly experience different kinds of stress one of which is the psychological stress, psychological stress is a set of physiological changes as a result of the body exposed to the danger of the threat. This stress can affect the physical and psychological affects the elderly. One is a healthy heart gymnastics, Gymnastics Healthy Heart is a sport that is prepared with always put the ability of the heart, the movement of large muscle and joint flexibility, as well as attempts to include as much oxygen as possible. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship healthy heart gymnastics with Stress Levels in the Elderly in Group Gymnastics Heart Healthy Heart Among Roso Ngluwar District of Magelang regency. The method used was a cross sectional, with a sample of 57 elderly. The instrument used was a questionnaire heart gymnastics and stress levels. Data processed by Spearman rank test. The result showed a p-value 0,000 < = 0.05, which means that therea is a relationship between a healthy heart gymnastics with the level of stress in Group Gymnastics Heart Healthy Heart Among Roso Ngluwar District of Magelang regency

    Antidiabetic Activities of Broccoli Extracts (Brassica oleracea L.var italica) on Mice Induced Streptozotocin-Nicotinamide

    Several plant species have been used for the treatment of diabetes. Research on plants that can be used to treat diabetes such as Cinnamomum cassia and Cinnamomum zeylanicum, Piper sarmentosum Roxb, Nelumbo nucifera, Ceiba petandra Memecylon malabaricum. Broccoli (Brassica oleracea L var italics) is a flower of vegetables like cabbage plants. Broccoli juice is made capable of direct and indirect effects on the reduction of blood LDL; the indirect effect is by repairing pancreatic beta cells and increasing insulin sensitivity. The purpose of this study was to determine whether broccoli has activity as antidiabetic. The subjects consisted of 15 mice induced with nicotinamide 70 mg/kg BW and Stz 150 mg/kg BW. Diabetic mice were divided into the positive control group (glibenclamide), negative control group (CMC Na) and three treatment groups. The test material is broccoli extract dose 75 mg / kg BW, 150 mg /kg BW and 300 mg/kg BW given peroral for 14 days. Anova test results showed that there was a significant difference in the average percentage of decreased blood glucose levels in all treatments. The result of Post Hock Tukey HSD test with a 95% confidence level showed a significant difference in the negative control group compared with positive control group and extract 300mg / kg BW. This shows that positive control group and extracts 300mg / kg body weight have an activity to decrease blood glucose level

    Extraction and Identification of Secondary Metabolites from AL6 Isolates and Its Potential as Antibacterial against Escherichia coliABSTRACTSecondary metabolites in the form of antibiotics can be produced by rhizospheric bacteria. AL6 bacterial isolate, which is one of the bacterial isolates from the rhosphere of Saccarum officinarum L., is known to produce antibiotic compounds. This study aims to determine the activity of antibiotics from AL6 ethyl acetate extracts produced by AL6 bacterial isolates, to analyze the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and the similarity of the active substances using GCMS. The ethyl acetate extract obtained was tested for MIC at 1.25%, 2.5%, 5.0%, 10.0%, 20%, and 40% concentrations. Detection of potential antibiotic spots was carried out using bioautographic thin layer chromatography (TLC). Compounds responsible for antibiotic activity were analyzed using GCMS. Minimum inhibitory levels obtained reached 2.5%. The active spots responsible for antibiotic activity against Escherichia coli at Rf 0.94. Components detected using GCMS and suspected to be antibiotics include chloroform; ethane, 1,1-dimethoxy-(CAS) dimethyl acetal; dan 1,3-dioxolane, 2-methoxymethyl-2,4,5-trimethyl.Keywords: AL6 bacterial isolate; antibiotic; Escherichia coli; GCMS; MICABSTRAKMetabolit sekunder berupa antibiotik dapat diproduksi oleh bakteri rizosfer. Isolat bakteri AL6, salah satu isolat bakteri dari rizosfer Saccarum officinarum L., diketahui dapat menghasilkan senyawa antibiotik. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui aktivitas antibiotik dari ekstrak etil asetat antibiotik AL6 yang dihasilkan isolat bakteri AL6, menganalisis kadar hambat minimum (KHM), serta kemiripan zat aktif menggunakan GCMS. Ekstrak etil asetat yang diperoleh diuji KHM-nya pada konsentrasi 1,25%, 2,5%, 5,0%, 10,0%, 20%, dan 40%. Deteksi bercak yang berpotensi sebagai antibiotik dilakukan menggunakan kromatografi lapis tipis (KLT) bioautografi. Senyawa yang berperan dalam aktivitas antibiotik dianalisis menggunakan GCMS. Kadar hambat minimal yang diperoleh mencapai 2,5%. Hasil uji KLT bioautografi memperlihatkan bercak aktif sebagai antibiotik terhadap Escherichia coli pada Rf 0,94.     A combinative treatment of cold plasma jet, honey solution, and micro-well dressing to accelerate acute wound healing of mouse skin was evaluated. A honey solution 1% in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) 20 µL was dropped into micro-well dressing that is attached on an acute wound before a 2-min cold plasma treatment. An inclined treatment style plasma jet with a 45° gradient was used. An infrared thermal camera was used to monitor the fate of the solution. To evaluate its effect, macroscopic evaluation and general staining were conducted. It was revealed that a combination of that honey and plasma treatment may not be efficacious. However, the related procedure functionalising micro-well dressing may provide a new insight in how to combine plasma jets and other solutions in animal or human models for skin-oriented treatment.     Upaya Pencegahan Dampak Negatif Open Defecation Free (ODF) Di Dusun Sengon Desa Trasan Kecamatan Bandongan Kabupaten Magelang

    Open Defecation Free (ODF) adalah salah satu kondisi suatu masyarakat telah melakukan sanitasi total yaitu dengan tidak Buang Air Besar Sembarangan (BABS). Suatu desa dapat dikatakan ODF jika 100% penduduk desa tersebut telah memiliki akses BAB di jamban sehat. Kurangnya pengetahuan tentang PHBS menimbulkan terjadinya perilaku ODF. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat Terpadu (PPMT) ini untuk membantu memecahkan permasalahan masyarakat mengenai Open Defecation Free (ODF), dan memberikan alternatif dengan pembuatan water treatment yang dapat digunakan untuk membersihkan setelah Open Defecation Free (ODF) warga Dusun setempat. Pembuatan water treatment tersebut diharapkan dapat digunakan dengan baik oleh warga Dusun Sengon. Setelah adanya water treatment tersebut tim Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat Terpadu (PPMT) menguji air sebelum dan setelah adanya water treatment. Kandungan Coliform sebelum adanya water treatment sebanyak 1100 sedangkan setelah adanya water treatment menjadi 400. Terbukti bahwa water treatment dapat menurunkan kadar Coliform di dalam air tersebut. Kata Kunci: ODF, Open Defecation Free, Water Treatment  ABSTRACT Open Defecation Free (ODF) is one of the conditions in which a community has done total sanitation by not defecating openly (BABS). A village can be said to be ODF if 100% of the village population has access to defecating in a healthy latrine. Lack of knowledge about PHBS leads to ODF behavior. The purpose of this Integrated Community Service (PPMT) activity is to help solve community problems regarding ODF, and provide an alternative to making water treatment that can be used to clean up after ODF local Hamlet residents. The manufacture of water treatment is expected to be used properly by residents of Sengon Hamlet. After the water treatment, the PPMT team tested the water before and after the water treatment. The content of Coliform before the water treatment was 1100 while after the Water Treatment it became 400.
