Human Skin Detection Using RGB, HSV and YCbCr Color Models

Human Skin detection deals with the recognition of skin-colored pixels and regions in a given image. Skin color is often used in human skin detection because it is invariant to orientation and size and is fast to process. A new human skin detection algorithm is proposed in this paper. The three main parameters for recognizing a skin pixel are RGB (Red, Green, Blue), HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) and YCbCr (Luminance, Chrominance) color models. The objective of proposed algorithm is to improve the recognition of skin pixels in given images. The algorithm not only considers individual ranges of the three color parameters but also takes into ac- count combinational ranges which provide greater accuracy in recognizing the skin area in a given image.Comment: ICCASP/ICMMD-2016. The following paper points in the direction of extending and effectively utilizing the honeypot technology for developing an IDS module that will use the PID track technique and will have the capability of detecting the attacker and working out a response. The whole module developed can be further extended for future use and at the same time it will ensure that the intrusion detection is carried out in the fastest possible time

Current research focuses on examining how much, why and how LIS Professionals use Facebook, one of the most popular social networking site, and understanding its impact on education and social interaction. The aim of this study is to examine the purposes of Facebook use in Library and Information Science (LIS) Professionals sample and explore time investment of the professionals to Facebook social network site. And the study was focus on to explore social networking site (SNS), Facebook to work as an effective tool for imparting information or knowledge and prove helpful in making awareness among LIS Professionals of Maharashtra Librarians Online Study Circle (MLOSC) Group, as most important aspect of Facebook as its emphasis on online collaboration and sharing because it has social networking, user centric characteristics. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire that was circulated among the LIS Professionals of MLOSC Group randomly. Present article reports the survey of social networking site, Facebook in making awareness among LIS Professionals. Analysis will help the LIS professionals in deriving the benefits of SNS, Facebook

Impact of Climate Change on Soil Activity (Nitrifying, Denitrifying) and Other Interactions

Though the soil is our motherland, it directly influences quantitative and qualitative crop traits, which determine food security and human health. Unfortunately, it is a complicated environment for microbes, and the anatomy and physiology of microorganisms in soil are immensely complicated. These ambiguities make it difficult to forecast the consequences of climate change on the behavior of soil microorganisms. Drought stress is currently the most severe Impact of climate change and significant, concerning, and dangerous abiotic stresses that cause changes in the soil environment that influence soil organisms such as microbes and plants. It alters the functionality and activity of soil microorganisms in charge of essential ecosystem services and processes. Due to the decrease in microbial activity and production of enzymes (such as oxidoreductases, hydrolases, dehydrogenases, catalase, urease, phosphatases, and glucosidase) and disruption of microbial structure caused by these stress conditions, soil fertility declines, plant productivity falls, and economic loss occurs. To identify more effective strategies for reducing the effects of drought and managing agricultural activities under challenging conditions profitably, a thorough understanding of many factors is needed to address potential approaches like genome editing and molecular analysis (metagenomics, transcriptomics, and metabolomics)
