Rapid prototyping methods suitable for foundry technology

Rapid Prototyping je nezbytnou součástí odvětví moderního slévárenství. Cílem této bakalářské práce je přehled moderních technologií Rapid Prototyping (RP). Dále se tato práce zabývá nejdůležitějšími aplikacemi ve slévárenském průmyslu se zaměřením na metodu vytavitelného modelu.Rapid Prototyping is an essential part of functioning of the modern foundry. The aim of this bachelor thesis is an overview of modern technologies of Rapid Prototyping (RP) techniques. Furthermore, this work addresses the most important applications in the foundry industry with a focus on investment casting technology.

Seasonal variation of the territorial behaviour of the European beaver (Castor fiber L.).

Předkládaná diplomová práce se zabývá změnami časové a prostorové aktivity bobra evropského (Castor fiber L.) v průběhu měnících se ročních období. Základní soubor dat byl získán kontinuálním telemetrickým sledováním vybraných jedinců v letech 2008 a 2009 ve dvou různých geografických oblastech, v Českém lese a na jižní Moravě. Cílem práce bylo zaznamenat a vyhodnotit chování bobra evropského v průběhu roku. Zaměřila jsem se zejména na počátek a konec aktivity v souvislosti se západem a východem slunce, délku doby setrvání mimo noru, změny velikostí aktivně využívaného prostoru a délku pohybu. V případě, že se v teritoriu vyskytovalo více jedinců, jsem sledovala také jejich interakce. Při počítání jsem brala ohled i na pohlaví a věk sledovaných individuí. Chování bobrů se v průběhu roku mění. Nejaktivnější jsou v podzimních a jarních měsících, naopak v zimě se aktivita výrazně snižuje. Platí to nejen pro délku a dobu pohybu, ale také pro velikost aktivně využívaného prostoru. Počátek aktivity silně koreluje se západem slunce, naopak konec aktivity není s východem slunce nijak silně provázán. Srovnáním pohybu jedinců jsem dospěla k závěru, že až na malé výjimky aktivují separátně. Klíčová slova: bobr evropský (Castor fiber L.), telemetrie, cirkadiální rytmy, cirkaanuální rytmy, časová a prostorová...The presented thesis deals with the temporal and spatial changes in activity of the European beaver (Castor fiber L.) during different seasons. Basic dataset was obtained by continuous telemetric monitoring of selected individuals in years 2008 and 2009 in two different geographical areas, namely in the Bohemian forest and in southern Moravia. The scope of the thesis was to record, evaluate and interpret the behavior of European beaver during the year. I focused myself especially on the beginning and end of activity in relation to incidence of sunrise and sunset, duration of stay in the field, changes in the size of actively-used area and time-duration and length of the movement. In cases where there were more active individuals monitored within the studied area, I also watched for their mutual interaction. In statistical analysis of gained data I also took into account the sex and age of the individuals. Beaver's behavior varies during the year. They are most active in spring and autumn, while in winter their activity decreases significantly. This observation is valid not only for the time duration and length of movement trajectories, but also for the size of actively-used area. Application of CAD/CAM technology for production of company logo

Tato práce se zabývá návrhem a výrobou loga firmy ATC Kolín za podpory moderních CAD/CAM programů a použitých technologií. V práci je provedena analýza a rozbor vybraných materiálů součásti (obráběných, aditivních), včetně volby řezných nástrojů. Jednotlivé obráběcí strategie pro výrobu loga jsou navrženy s využitím CAM programu PowerMILL. Součástí práce je porovnání dvou rozdílných technologií výroby použitých pro zhotovení prezentačního loga (technologie třískového obrábění na vertikální konzolové frézce FV 25 CNC s řídicím systémem Heidenhain iTNC 530 a aditivní technologie Rapid Prototyping s využitím metody Fused Deposition Modeling). Práce je ukončena technicko-ekonomickým zhodnocením s rozborem a porovnáním jednotlivých variant výroby.This thesis will address the design and production of the ATC Kolín comapny's logo. Thesis will be supported by the use of CAD/CAM programs. The choice of materials, components and tools will also be specified. Milling strategy will be designed with the PowerMill program. Two different methods of production will be compared. First one is the conventional machining on the FV 25 CNC vertical knee milling plant with the Heidenhain iTNC 530 controlling system. Where as the second one is the additive rapid prototypong technology with the usage of Fused Deposition Modeling method. The thesis is finished by the technical-economic evaluation with analysis and comparison of production alternatives.

Toxic substances in food and their effects to human health

The bachelor thesis "Toxic substances and their effects to human health" deals with characteristics of selected historical periods of toxicology. It describes the basic concepts of toxicology. It briefly characterizes toxic substances of plant and animal origin. More attention is paid to mycotoxins, especially aflatoxins, fumonisins, ochratoxins and zearaleon. A very important part of this thesis is the prevention of the effects of toxic substances on human health and describes the partial measures that are necessary before consumption or preparing of food. The practical part examines the awareness of university students about important toxic substances in food. It assesses whether these students recognize the desired mold species on food. Next it is interested in what precautionary measures are taken by university students before consuming and preparing food. The conclusion of the thesis shows that the know-how of university students is relatively high

Import 05/08/2014Tato práce řeší výběr a získávání zaměstnanců ve společnosti CIDEM Hranice, a.s. Cílem práce je zhodnotit současný stav získávání a výběru zaměstnanců ve společnosti CIDEM Hranice a navrhnout opatření pro zlepšení tohoto procesu. Zaměřila jsem se na podrobnou analýzu tohoto procesu. Na základě odborné literatury jsou vysvětleny důležité pojmy, které se týkají získávání a výběru zaměstnanců v teoretické části. Tyto poznatky jsou poté převedeny do praktické úrovně za pomoci interních dokumentů podniku. Pro analýzu procesu byl sestaven dotazník, který byl distribuován zaměstnancům podniku. Získaná data byla zpracována pomocí datové matice a převedena do grafické podoby. Hlavním výsledkem práce jsou návrhy a doporučení pro organizaci v procesu získávání a výběru zaměstnanců.This thesis deals with employee selection and acquirement in the company CIDEM Hranice, a.s. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate current state of emplyee selection and acquirement process in the company CIDEM Hranice and suggest steps to improve this process. My aim is to do a thorough analysis of this process. Based on a technical literature, the important terms concerning employee selection and acquirement are explained in the theoretical part of the thesis. This knowledge is then transferred to practical level using internal documentation of the company. For the purpose of process analysis, a quistionaire was created and distributed to the employees of the company. Collected data was processed using data matrix and rendered to graphical output.
