REGULARITIES IN THE SHEAR BEHAVIOUR OF PLEISTOCENE AND PANNON SOIL COMPLEXES ALONG THE DANUBE RIVER

Aim of this study was to produce and analysis about the regularities of shearing properties of soils, identified by routine testing methods for the sequential soil masses of the Pleistocene and Pannon escarpment walls along the western bank of the Danube. The study was able to prove that significantly more information can be achieved to about the shearing properties of individual soil samples and sequentiai soil masses on the basis of known and presently introduced failure criteria. These considerations renew the thesis that the shearing resistance and the relevant φ, and c are picked out or guessed independently of each other. Even a single test may produce results in close affinity to literary data

Papírnapló - online napló? : a hagyományos naplóírás és az internetes naplóírás jellegzetességeinek összehasonlítása

Kvalitatív kutatásom célja a hagyományos magán-naplóírás és a webes felületre írt online naplóírás (bloggolás) sajátosságainak, hasonlóságának és különbségének feltérképezése. A napló- és blog-írás jellegzetességeit, motivációit, körülményeit, egy-egy hasonló, erre a célra szerkesztett kvalitatív kérdőívvel mértem fel. A vizsgálatban résztvevő 34 személy közül 22 fő naplót, 10 fő blogot és 1 fő mindkettőt ír rendszeresen. Az eredmények szerint a két csoport relevánsan összehasonlítható: a hagyományos napló-írás elsődleges oka és megerősítője az érzések és gondolatok tisztázásából eredő pszichés nyereség, míg az internetes napló-írás elsődleges oka a másokhoz kapcsolódás lehetősége: ismerősökkel kapcsolatot tartani, élményeket, gondolatokat, véleményeket megosztani, és ezáltal az új szubkultúrához tartozni. The purpose of this study was to reveal the motivation and the similar personality features of the regular diary-writers and online bloggers. What are the main reasons of diary keeping and blogging, and what are the similarities and differences? Two, nearly similar qualitative questionnaires were prepared for each groups to recover their motivates. The participants were 11 bloggers and 23 diary keepers. As the results show, it is obvious that diary keepers write mainly about their rather pessimistic periods, negative emotions, and about any of their life experiences. Bloggers write mainly about the every-day happenings, and it isn't depend on their actual mood. The confirmation of keeping diary is the subjective pleasant feeling of making the emotions clear, and the thoughts coherent. The confirmation of blogging provides the possibility of connecting to others: to share the experiences, thoughts, opinions, and due to this they can feel that they belong to a new subculture

A hazai fejlesztéspolitika és térszervezés kapcsolódásának változása az európai uniós csatlakozás tükrében

There were two significant milestones in the lives of Central and Eastern European countries. One was the political, social and economic change of regime during which the former centralized system was demolished. The other was the accession to the European Union, which provided an opportunity for this macro region for convergence as well as a social, economic and regional cohesion in Europe. Both of them had a significant effect on the development policy of the countries, thus that of Hungary as well. The exclusivity of the top-down policy ceased. Nevertheless, due to the learning of democratic patterns, the lack of balance in political power and the lack of funds a kind of reflection period was characteristic of the development policy the result of which was a kind of mixture of top-down and bottom-up policy. By joining the European Union clear external rules and mechanisms of action came into effect. Significant funds became accessible that strengthened the centralization and the top-down approach in the Hungarian development policy. The regional dimensions of the development endeavours appeared in many different ways in our country, but finally the regional formations that were suitable for serving the top-down development policy strengthened. The individual areas were affected miscellaneously by the regional dimension of the development tendencies. While funds were provided by the European Union for them, the bottom-up initiatives were not sufficiently welcomed. Such an area is in many ways that of Lake Balaton, which is homogeneous as far as tourism is concerned but administratively, thus from the perspective of development policy, it is split. Due to the top-down approach as well as the strengthening of the bureaucratic development policy the role of this area in the development policy is fading. This can later have a negative effect on the valuable, unique character of the region
