    Di era globalisasi, perkembangan kejahatan semakin terus meningkat. Perdagangan orang merupakan bentuk perbudakan secara modern, bahkan seorang ibu sebagai orangtua tega menjual anak dalam kandungan karena kebutuhan materi. Atas peristiwa tersebut, penulis tertarik untuk meneliti, dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah bentuk pertanggungjawaban pidana seorang ibu yang menjual anak dalam kandungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif, dengan pendekatan statute approach dan conseptual approach. Kemudian sumber bahan hukum yang diperoleh dari undang-undang, buku-buku hukum, internet, dan pendapat para pakar hukum. Proses berpikir deduktif, dan dianalisis secara kualitatif, yaitu kaedah dan teknik untuk keingintahuan penulis pada suatu gejala yuridis atau cara untuk menemukan kebenaran dalam pengetahuan. Hasil penelitian dimana seorang ibu yang menjual anak dalam kandungan, akibat perbuatan yang telah lalai dan pelanggaran melanggar ibu dimintai pertanggungjawaban dengan pidana penjara dan denda sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Perlindungan Anak.In the era of globalization, the development of crime keeps on increasing. Trafficking in persons is a modern form of slavery, even a mother as a parent have the heart to sell her unborn child because of material needs. Of the event, the authors are interested in researching, in order to determine how the form of criminal liability of a mother who sells her unborn child. This study uses a normative juridical method, by using statute approach and conseptual approach. Then the material source of law derived from the law, law books, the internet, and the opinions of legal experts.     Comparative study ofthe computational fluid dynamics and fluid structure interaction analysis in human airways flow

    Numerous studies have been done in order to get the most accurate result that represents the flow characteristics inside the human trachea. Numerical method was the most favorite type of study chosen to simulate the model due to the complexity of the geometry and difficulties to get the real trachea to do the experimental works. In this study, one actual healthy model of human trachea was reconstructed in order to compare, the different of the velocity and pressure distribution between two types of numerical modeling analysis: Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Fluid Structure Interaction (FSI) analysis. The model was extracted using the Computed Tomography (CT) scan images to maintain the realistic geometry. Velocity, 1.24 m/s was used at the inlet and the variations of the velocity and pressure distribution along the trachea were observed. The results shown that, the implementation of the FSI technique did produce different result and flexibility of the structure wall did influence the distribution of the velocity and pressure along the trachea

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi terhadap kinerja pegawai pada kantor wali kota sorong Papua barat tahun 2018. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pegawai kantor wali kota sorong Papua barat yang diambil sampelnya sebanyak 50 orang pegawai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey Analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study ,Yaitu jenis penelitian untuk melihat hubungan antara variabel Dependent dan variabel independent.sedangkan analisis yang digunakan analisis univariat,bivariat dan multivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Insentif yang diberikan kepada pegawai belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan,dimana dari 50 orang pegawai yang dijadikan sampel memiliki insentif cukup sebanyak 22 orang pegawai dengan persentase 44,0 %, sedangkan yang memiliki insentif kurang sebanyak 28 orang pegawai dengan persentase 56,0 %. tunjangan yang diberikan kepada pegawai dari 50 sampel yang diambil terdapat 25 orang pegawai memiliki tunjangan cukup dengan persentase sebesar 50,0 %, sedangkan yang memiliki tunjangan kurang sebesar 25 orang pegawai dengan persentase 50,0 %. penghargaan yang diberikan kepada pegawai belum dapat memenuhi kebutuhan,dimana dari 50 orang pegawai yang dijadikan sampel memiliki penghargaan cukup sebanyak 22 orang pegwai dengan persentase 44,0 %, sedangkan yang memiliki penghargaan kurang sebanyak 28 orang pegawai dengan persentase 56,0 %

    Standard time of import paperwork clearance department for sustainability organization performance in forwarding company

    In order to achieve sustainable performance, it was emphasized for an organization for improvement of the standard performance. This paper attempts to propose a benchmark for the standard time to complete daily paperwork received at a forwarding company by using the define-measure-analyse-improve-control (DMAIC) approach. Results showed that the import clearance agent required 3 days or more to clear paperwork for duty or tax confirmation. The impact led to delayed shipment delivery, caused by customer dissatisfaction and company loss of trusts amongst customers. It was also found that that the number of paperwork received daily was 516, distributed among an average of 15 employees, from January to April 2018. Each employee received an average of 34 paperwork daily. The amount of paperwork received by each employee was at alarming level. The time required to complete paperwork for duty/tax confirmation were 3 days or more for most of the employees, which stood at 62%. Therefore, based on the results of the findings, the proposed benchmark of the standard time for paperwork clearance should not be more than 1 day to allow for same day delivery to the customers, as per the commitment promised by the company

    The effects of physiological biomechanical loading on intradiscal pressure and annulus Stress in lumbar spine: a finite element analysis

    The present study was conducted to examine the effects of body weight on intradiscal pressure (IDP) and annulus stress of intervertebral discs at lumbar spine. Three-dimensional finite element model of osseoligamentous lumbar spine was developed subjected to follower load of 500 N, 800 N, and 1200 N which represent the loads for individuals who are normal and overweight with the pure moments at 7.5 Nm in flexion and extension motions. It was observed that the maximum IDP was 1.26 MPa at L1-L2 vertebral segment. However, the highest increment of IDP was found at L4-L5 segment where the IDP was increased to 30% in flexion and it was more severe at extension motion reaching to 80%. Furthermore, the maximum annulus stress also occurred at the L1-L2 segment with 3.9 MPa in extension motion. However, the highest increment was also found at L4-L5 where the annulus stress increased to 17% in extension motion. Based on these results, the increase of physiological loading could be an important factor to the increment of intradiscal pressure and annulus fibrosis stress at all intervertebral discs at the lumbar spine which may lead to early intervertebral disc damage

    NMEP based Gaussian Mutation Process on Optimizing Fitness Function for MOEED

    The increment of Economic Dispatch (ED) problem is very distressing today. In view of countless of the researchers doing the research to minimize the ED problem day after day, the multi objective New Meta Heuristic Evolutionary Programming (NMEP) techniques are proposed to optimize the multi objective function in ED problem called as Multi Objective Environmental Economic Dispatch (MOEED). The techniques mimic the original Meta Heuristic Evolutionary Programming (Meta-EP) and merge with Artificial Immune System (AIS) with some improvement in Gaussian mutation process and cloning process. The NMEP produced two objective function result simultaneously by exercising the weighted sum method. In order to justify the result, the comparison between the NMEP and Meta-EP techniques is conducted with difference case number of alpha. Therefore, the outcome of the simulation shows the NMEP approach is better than Meta-EP in the both case numbers of alpha. The simulation is operated using MATLAB simulation based on standard IEEE 26 bus system in the laboratory

    A secure data authentication in wireless body area network for health monitoring using electrocardiogram-based key agreement

    Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) comprises of a set of biomedical sensors, which are implanted into or placed around a human body to serve a variety of network applications constantly. One of the applications, the ubiquitous health monitoring, has improved the ability of healthcare providers to deliver appropriate treatments to the patients either in hospitals or at homes. As the need of this application increases, several security issues also arise due to the nature of open wireless medium. Moreover, implementing an effective security mechanism uses a significant part of the available energy in a WBAN, whereby the sensors have limited resource constraints in terms of power consumption and memory space. Thus, this paper presents a new authentication protocol model that utilizes Electrocardiogram (ECG) signal as biometric as well as cryptographic key to ensure that the transmitted data are originated from the required WBAN. Due to the uniqueness and the permanence property of ECG signal, the proposed model is developed to achieve optimal security performance and required lightweight manners of to the resource-limited biomedical sensors. The simulation system is implemented based on the process of an improved fuzzy vault scheme with a new error correction algorithm, which results in reducing computational complexity, communication load and storage overhead when compared to several previous work

    The effects of thickness on biomechanical behavior of articular cartilage: a finite element analysis

    It is important to study joint contact mechanics in order to understand the human joint function and degeneration. In previous studies, the cartilage behavior was investigated using computational method assuming the cartilage to be flat and an ideal thickness. But, this assumption may not appropriate because the joint is naturally curved and the cartilage thickness varies across the articular cartilage. In this study, finite element (FE) analysis was performed to investigate the effect of cartilage thickness on contact pressure and pore pressure of cartilage in indentation test. An axisymmetric FE model of cartilage was developed according to the thickness and radius measured in the experiment. The cartilage was modeled as biphasic material to describe the properties of cartilage. Based on the result, the lowest cartilage thickness of 0.3 mm thickness generated 48% higher in contact pressure and 59% higher in pore pressure, compared to the highest thickness cartilage. This could indicate that the cartilage thickness does affect the contact pressure and pore pressure
